HVAC ACCESS PANEL LATCH SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a latch assembly for an access panel of a housing includes a latch structure having a first surface, a second surface, and an intermediate step therebetween. The latch assembly also includes a fastener configured to facilitate coupling of the first surface to the access panel, and a locking system configured to engage with a structural support of the housing via the second surface. The locking system is configured to be rotated to secure the second surface to the structural support and rotated to release the second surface from the structural support.
Handle and freezer
A handle is provided with a main unit base having an engaging pin, a door base having a rotating shaft, a knob portion, and a rotation stopper. The knob portion has an engaging groove. The engaging groove has an open end. At the door-locking position, the engaging groove and the engaging pin become engaged with each other, and at the door-unlocking position, the engagement is released. When the knob portion is located at the door-unlocking position, the rotation stopper positions the knob portion such that the engaging pin is located inside an extension range of the open end. The engaging groove has a pushing surface, which pushes the engaging pin at the time of the displacement of the knob portion.
Adjustable gate latch assembly
A gate latch assembly includes a first door mountable portion including a first body and carrying a pivotable latch bar that extends outward from a side of the first body, and a first handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the latch bar when the first handle is rotated, a second door mountable portion including a second body and carrying a pivot bar, and a second handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the pivot bar when the second handle is rotated. The gate latch assembly can be assembled in either a first configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a first direction, or a second configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a second direction that is opposite the first direction.
REMOVABLE WINDOW SYSTEM
A vehicle that includes a vehicle body defining a plurality of openings configured for receipt of a window, and a plurality of retention features that are configured to maintain the window in the opening and permit the window to be easily removed from the opening. The retention features include a rotatable latch that is configured to maintain the window in the opening. Rotation of the latch permits the window to be removed from the opening. A rotatable handle is coupled to the latch that is configured to rotate the latch. A wave washer is coupled to the handle between the handle and the latch, wherein rotation of the handle rotates the wave washer into and out of engagement with the latch to rotate the latch.
INTEGRATED LOCKING PIN
A gate fastener is provided for securing a double gate, comprising a pivotable body that is fixable to a first gate, wherein the pivotable body comprises at least one recess for receiving a gate rail on the second gate; wherein the pivotable body comprises at least one aperture on a side thereof that is capable of retaining a locking pin; and wherein in a first position, the locking pin spans the recess and prevents movement of the gate rail out of the recess, and wherein in a second position, the locking pin is retracted from the recess such that a portion thereof is retained within the pivotable body without preventing movement of the gate rail out of the recess. Also provided is a gate having said fastener and a method of securing a double gate using the fastener.
Lockset
The present invention generally relates to a lockset for use with a luggage including a first body and a second body. The lockset includes a housing embedded in a first side of the first body and a rotatable combination lock disposed in the housing revealing discs. When the rotatable combination lock is locked, the rotatable combination lock could not rotate in the housing and limits the second body not to open from the first body; when the rotatable combination lock is unlocked, the rotatable combination lock could be rotated to an unlock-position in the housing and frees the second body open from the first body.
TWO-PIECE WINDOW SYSTEM HAVING REMOVABLE GLASS PANEL
A vehicle including a vehicle body including a movable body attached thereto. The movable body defines an opening configured for receipt of a window system. The window system includes a fixed panel that is fixed to the movable body, a removable panel that is configured to be attached to and detached from the fixed panel, and a plurality of retention features that are configured to attach the removable panel to the fixed panel. The plurality of retention features each include a rotatable latch attached to the removable panel that is configured to engage with a receiver to attach the removable panel to the fixed panel. Adjacent rotatable latches are configured to rotate in a direction toward each other to disengage from the receiver and mate with each other to collectively form a graspable handle to remove the detach the removable panel from the fixed panel.
