Interconnected lock with adjustable deadbolt to latchbolt spacing
An interconnected lock has adjustable offset spacing between latchbolt and deadbolt lock mechanisms, and a sliding pusher mechanism therebetween. The pusher mechanism is operable upon operation of an interior actuator to bear against the deadbolt lock mechanism and move the deadbolt along the second axis from the latched to the unlatched position at the same time that the operation of the interior actuator moves the latchbolt along the first axis from the latched to the unlatched position. The pusher mechanism includes an arm that bears against the deadbolt lock mechanism and may be retracted and extended between a first length and a second, longer length when changing offset spacing between the deadbolt and latchbolt. The arm is extendable from the first length to the second length without adding or removing any components thereof.
CAM LOCK WITH A CLOSURE ELEMENT WHICH CAN BE FIXED TO A LOCKING SHAFT AT DIFFERENT HEIGHTS
A casement lock (1) includes an actuation lug (2); a locking shaft (3) coupled to the actuation lug (2) and having two opposite flattened axial regions (5) at a free end (4) of the locking shaft and a circumferential profiling (6) between the flattened axial regions (5); and a cage (8) supporting a closure element (7) configured to be placed with an opening (9) on the free end (4) of the locking shaft (3) and fixed to the locking shaft (3). A locking element (14) is provided on the cage (8), which, in a locking position, secures the cage (8) on the locking shaft (3) against tilting. In a release position of the locking element (14), the cage (8) can be tilted relative to the locking shaft (3) and is moveable in an axial direction along the locking shaft (3) only in a state when tilted relative to the locking shaft (3).
Locking system for a container
A cabinet includes a locking system having a cabinet body including a bottom wall, a top wall, a first side wall, a second, opposing side wall, and a third side wall connected to the bottom wall, the top wall, and between the first side wall and the second side wall. At least one door is pivotally mounted to the cabinet body. The at least one door, bottom wall, top wall, first side wall, second side wall, and third side wall define a storage volume. A lock mechanism including a latch and release element is pivotally mounted inside the storage volume. The latch and release element is accessible only in the storage volume. A lock opening extends through the cabinet body at the lock mechanism. A lock element is insertable through the lock opening. The lock element includes a latch receiver that is selectively engageable by the latch and release element.
SECURING HANDLE FOR AN OPENABLE SIDE WINDOW
An openable side window for a motor vehicle is provided having an openable side window which covers a lateral vehicle opening when in its closed position and can be locked by means of a securing device, the securing device comprising a pivotable securing handle which can be pivoted between an unlocked position and a locked position and has an operating arm and a latch arm which, when in the locked position, interacts with a latch counterpart, wherein the latch arm comprises a functional element which is pre-loaded radially outward with respect to a pivot axis of the securing handle.
A CHILD SAFETY LOCK FOR CABINETS AND DRAWERS
A child safety lock mechanism for cabinets and drawers includes at least one right wall, at least one left wall, at least one lower tab lever, an upper button spring; a lower button spring; an upper button spring cover; a lower button spring cover; an upper leg; a lower leg; a double-sided tape for a right wall; a double-sided tape for an upper leg; and a double-sided tape for a lower leg. The child safety lock for cabinets and drawers includes a mechanism which is externally integrated to the cabinets and drawers for preventing material and non-material damages, particularly children's health, by preventing a children from reaching all kinds of articles in the form of a cabinet and drawer in the houses and offices, wherein the mechanism allows the cabinets and drawers to be opened only by the adults.
Insulated transport cabinets for food and the like
The present disclosure provides an insulated transport cabinet for food or the like having a housing, a door, a hinge cover, and a hinge pin. The housing includes a barrel portion adjacent to a front surface and extending between top and bottom ends. The barrel portion includes a longitudinal axis, a gap separating the barrel portion into top and bottom barrel sections having first and second passageways aligned with the longitudinal axis, respectively. The door includes a hinge adjacent to a side surface and including a third passageway aligned with the longitudinal axis. An inner surface of the hinge pin complements an outer surface of the hinge. The hinge pin passes through the first, third, and second passageways. The door pivots about the longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The longitudinal axis is offset from a center plane of the door.
Handle mechanisms
A handle mechanism includes a gear drive having an interior end and an exterior end; an inside handle fixed to the interior end; a button; a finger; a handle drive; an outside handle; and a spring. The button has an interior end and an exterior end, which is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive. The handle drive is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive and is rotatable relative thereto. The outside handle and the handle drive rotate together. The outside handle moves between a first position, wherein it is constrained from rotation, and a second position. The finger is fixed to the exterior end of the button, which moves between a first position, wherein the finger causes the gear drive and the handle drive to rotate together, and a second position. The spring biases the button and the outside handle toward their first positions.
LOCKING BARN DOOR LATCH
Some embodiments of the invention include a locking mechanism for a sliding barn door. The locking mechanism, for example, may include a lock mechanism. The locking mechanism may include a base configured to couple with a sliding barn door; an external handle; a connecting rod having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the connecting rod coupled with the external handle; a latch mechanism coupled with the connecting rod; and a locking mechanism disposed within the external handle. The locking mechanism may be configured to lock the external handle from rotating relative to the base such that when the locking mechanism is in a locked configuration the external handle and the rod do not rotate relative to the base, and when the locking mechanism is in an unlocked configuration the external handle, rod, and locking mechanism rotate relative to the base.
LOCKING BARN DOOR LATCH
Some embodiments may also include a locking mechanism for a barn door, the locking system comprising: a locking mechanism body; a lock chamber configured to slide into the locking mechanism body in a locked configuration, and configured to slide out of the locking mechanism body in a first direction in an unlocked configuration; and a locking pin coupled with the lock chamber, the locking pin configured to slide outward in a second direction opposite the first direction in the locked configuration, and configured to slide inward in the unlocked configuration.
