DOOR LOCK DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A door lock device for a vehicle includes: a support member; a latch supported to be rotatable around a first shaft member supported by the support member and rotating in a first direction and engaging with a striker provided in a vehicle main body when a vehicle door is closed; a pawl supported to be rotatable around a second shaft member supported by the support member and restricting rotation of the latch in a second direction by engaging with the latch engaged with the striker; and an elastic member having one and other end portions and elastically deformed by an external force, in which in a state where the elastic member is elastically deformed, the one end portion engages with the pawl, the other end portion is supported by the support member, and an elastic force is applied to the pawl to bias the pawl to the latch side.
Window Lock
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an improved window lock includes a base hinge, a lever lock, and a base hook. The base hinge includes an adhesive material that allows mounting of the base hinge to either the window being locked or a frame that moves with the window being locked. The lever lock moves with respect to the base hinge with the interface between the two being respective hinge portions. The base hook includes an adhesive material that allows a mounting of base hook to a frame at a particular desired location for locking the window.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance including a door; a key member on the door; a main body; and a latch device on the main body. The latch device includes a first lever, and a second lever that, when the door is being closed, is pressed by the key member to thereby cause the second lever to rotate in a first direction so as to press the first lever and thereby cause the first lever to rotate in the first direction. A spring holding portion is on the first lever. A first end of a spring is attached to the first lever and slidably held by the spring holding portion. A second end of the spring is attached to the body. The spring provides an elastic force to cause the first lever to rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the door is being opened.
Latch assembly for a mine door and a mine door having such an assembly
A latch assembly for a door having a door body mounted on a door frame includes a retainer movable between a latching position and a non-latching position and configured, in the latching position, to retain the door body in a closed position, and to permit the door body to move with respect to the door frame in the non-latching position to an open position. An actuator is selectively moveable to change the retainer from the latching position to a non-latching position. A linkage is configured to move the retainer in a latching direction toward the latching position and in an unlatching direction toward the non-latching position responsive to actuation of the actuator. A crank is operatively connected to the actuator and linkage and configured to move the retainer toward the latching position as the retainer approaches the latching position.
SLIDE LATCHING SYSTEM FOR A DOOR SYSTEM
A slide latching system for latching a sliding door panel to a door frame includes a jamb strike, a latch assembly, and a handle set. The jamb strike is connected to the door frame. The latch assembly is connected to the sliding door panel, and has a latch member having a latch hook portion configured to engage the jamb strike. The latch hook portion is movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The handle set is mounted to the sliding door panel. The handle set is drivably coupled to the latch assembly. The handle set is configured to facilitate both of a moving of the latch hook portion of the latch assembly to the unlatched position and a sliding of the sliding door panel in a first direction in a continuous motion applied to the handle set by a user.
Latch assembly
A latch assembly comprises a backplate, a lock lever, and a latch member. The lock lever is operable by a user to unlock the latch assembly such that the latch member is free to rotate relative to the backplate and allow a gate to be opened. The lock lever is attached to the backplate and is free to move relative to the backplate for operation of the latch assembly. The latch member is attached to the backplate and is free to move relative to the backplate while the latch assembly is in an unlocked configuration, but is prohibited from to moving relative to the backplate by the lock lever while the latch assembly is in a locked configuration.
DIGITAL DOOR LOCK INCLUDING LATCH BOLT SELF-LOOSENING STRUCTURE
A present invention relates to a digital doorlock including a latch bolt self-loosening structure which includes an authenticator which receives an authentication signal and performs authentication; a motor which is driven in a predetermined direction when authentication is performed by the authenticator; a latch operator which can be operated through driving of the motor; and a shaft which is rotated according to operation of the latch operator and operates a latch bolt, wherein the latch operator releases the latch bolt by operating according to the authentication and rotating the shaft in one direction.
KNOB TO LATCH INTERFACE, METHOD OF INTERFACING A KNOB TO A ROTATABLE LATCH
According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a knob to latch interface includes a body, a latch in operable communication with the body movable between a latched position and an unlatched position, and a knob longitudinally positionable between a first position and a second position relative to the body and in operable communication with the latch, an outer radial extent of the knob being operationally engagable only while in one of the first position and the second position.
Keeper apparatus to maintain gate in plane with frame
A keeper apparatus engaged to the lower free end swinging corner portion of a gate, not to either of the upper and lower corner portions having the axis on which the gate swings, and not to the upper free end swinging corner portion where the gate has a main latch. The keeper apparatus joins the shortened ends of a horizontal gate support member and a vertical gate support member where, prior to engaging the keeper apparatus on the shortened ends, such intentionally manufactured shortened ends are free and spaced from each other.
