Portable Door Securement Device
A portable door securement device is provided having a member extending from a first end engaged to a doorknob of a door to a second end engaged with a floor adjacent the door, to prevent opening of the door in a direction toward the engaged member. A slot at a first end of the member engages around a stem of the door handle thereby preventing disengagement of the member from the door, and preventing opening of the door.
Automatic blocking device for limiting a sliding movement of a first structure mounted adjacent to a second structure
A lockout device for selectively blocking linear movement of a movable frame member relative to a fixed frame member includes a lock tab pivotably mountable to the fixed frame member and having a contact surface configured to slidably engage a slide surface of the movable frame member when the lock tab has a first orientation, the movable frame member including a stop surface at one end of the slide surface, a holder for releasably holding the lock tab in a second orientation with the contact surface spaced from the slide surface, and a body mountable to the movable frame member and configured such that movement of the movable frame member in a first direction causes the body pivot the lock tab into the second orientation and movement of the movable member in a second direction causes the body to pivot the lock tab into the first orientation.
DOOR BARRICADE
The present invention is a door barricade having a pivoting locking arm which drops into a floor hole to lock a barricade in place.
Door brace
A door brace (10) comprising: an engagement member (12) comprising a bottom flange (14) comprising one face comprising a textured surface (14a) to engage with a door (34); an angled leg (20) comprising a first section (22) hingedly connected at one end to the wall and a second section (23) extending from the first section at a first angle, the leg being movable between a stowed position and an extended position in which the first section makes a second angle, larger than the first angle, to the wall; an engagement foot (26) pivotably mounted on a mounting element (24) having an adjustable length; and a hinge stop configured to prevent the leg moving beyond a maximum extended position. Wherein, in an extended position, the second section of the leg extends at a third angle to the wall equal to the difference between the second and first angles and the engagement foot causes a clamping force to be applied to the door.
SLIDING DOOR FOOT BOLT
A lock kit for a fenestration assembly includes a panel stop. The fenestration assembly includes a first panel and a second panel, at least one of the first and second panels being slideable relative the other of the first and second panels. The panel stop is configured to pivotably mount within a recess of a frame member of the first panel and pivot between a first stop position configured to maintain the first and second panels in a fully closed position, a second stop position configured to limit sliding of the first and second panels beyond a preset partially-open position, and a third position substantially within the recess, the third position being configured to not restrict a range of motion of the first and second panels.
Door brace
A door brace (10) comprising a door engagement member (12), a leg (20) and an engagement foot (26). The door engagement member (12) comprises a bottom flange (14) for location under a bottom edge of a door (34) and an engagement wall (16) having one face (18) for location against one side of the door. The leg comprises a fixed length section(22)and an adjustable length section (24). The leg is hingedly connected to the engagement wall and is movable between a bracing position in which it extends at a first angle to the engagement wall and a released position in which it extends at a smaller angle to the engagement wall. The door brace has a released condition in which the leg is in the released position and the adjustable length section of the leg has a first length and a bracing condition in which the leg is in the bracing position and the adjustable length section of the leg has a longer length.
Device to slow or stop a door from opening
A device for slowing or stopping a door from opening or moving may include a base designed to be attached to the door, the base including a magnet mounted thereto; and a spring loaded blade hingeably attached to a bottom portion of the base, the spring loaded blade having a proximal flat end and a distal pointed end, wherein the blade is configured to pivot from a first closed orientation to a second deployed configuration. When the blade is in the first closed orientation the blade is engaged with the magnet on the base, and when the blade is in the second deployed configuration, the blade is disengaged from the magnet and the distal pointed end is pointing at an angle downward from the base.
TWO-WAY LOCKING DOOR STOP AND METHOD FOR TWO-WAY LOCKING OF DOOR LEAF
The invention discloses a two-way locking door stop and a method for two-way locking of a door leaf. The two-way locking door stop includes a base, a lock body and a first locking assembly, the base includes a base main body and a telescopic member, and a first surface and a second surface are respectively provided on the base main body and the telescopic member, the lock body is pivoted to the base to rotationally switch between a first state and a second state, and the first locking assembly locks rotation of the lock body in the first state to achieve two-way locking of the door leaf.
