DOOR STOPPER
20200355006 · 2020-11-12 ·

The door stopper is adhered to the front wing of the door that has been completely opened and the door is prevented to move from this point on. When the door is desired to be closed, the door is pulled gently by hand, the force applied by the door to the stopper tensions the pressure spring and the pressure spring forces the moveable head down to the floor, thereby enabling the door to pass over the stopper.

Window shutter

A window shutter for securing windows. The window shutter comprises at least one first shutter and at least one second shutter. The first shutter is coupled to the second shutter via hinges. The first shutter is affixed to a wall and adjacent to a window frame. The second shutter is operable to swing about a pivot axis of the hinges. The second shutter is used to secure windows provided in the window frame.

STRAIGHT ACTION FLUSH LOCK FOR CASEMENT WINDOW AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
20200270897 · 2020-08-27 ·

A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein an actuator including a fork component translates within the slot in a direction opposite movement of the handle, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.

Catch assembly for controlling opening of a door
10711646 · 2020-07-14 · ·

A catch assembly is provided that includes a keeper, a guide and a catch. The catch includes a catch mount, a catch arm and a catch hook. The catch arm is cantilevered from the catch mount. The catch arm extends longitudinally away from the catch mount to a distal end of the catch. The catch hook is connected to the catch arm at the distal end. The catch is configured to bias the catch hook against the guide. The catch hook is configured to slide longitudinally along the guide from a first position to a second position where the catch hook engages the keeper.

Latch insert and spacers for slider window assembly
10676972 · 2020-06-09 · ·

A trim assembly securable in a window frame includes a track on which a sliding window is supportable, a latch insert including a plurality of latch openings, and a latch mechanism securable to the sliding window adjacent the latch insert. The latch mechanism is displaceable between an extended position and a retracted position and includes a lever connected with a latch tab. In the extended position, the latch tab is positioned in a selected one of the latch openings. The latch mechanism is biased toward the extended position. The spacing of the latch openings provides for essentially infinite open/close positions.

Window sash restraint device
10655372 · 2020-05-19 ·

A window sash restraint device for selectively restraining a window sash in one of an open position and a closed position relative to a window frame. The window sash restraint device includes a body adapted to be fixed directly to the frame or sash and a restraining member which in an active condition, restrains the sash in either the open position or the closed position relative to the frame and when inactive allows movement of the sash relative to the opened or closed positions. The device further comprises a manually releasable restraining mechanism for holding the restraining member in the active condition. The device is adapted to restrain the sash in the opened position, with an opening small enough to prevent a child from falling out of the window yet secure enough to prevent the child from further opening and falling from the window.

A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein a fork component translates within the slot in a direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the handle and the handle rotates along a plane perpendicular to the fork component, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate fully from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.
