Programmable door power assist
A power assist device includes a motor that is operatively coupled to a door of a vehicle, a display for displaying a swing path of the door, a controller for controlling the motor, and a touchscreen device for supplying the controller with one or more user-inputted selections for controlling a door swing of the door, wherein the user-inputted selections are received by the touchscreen device via one or more touch events.
HINGE
A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; one or more biasing components to bias the hinge toward a closed position; and a dampener to slow movement of the first and second leaf assemblies to the closed position, a first portion of the dampener is located within the first insert component and a second portion is configured to at least partially retract within the first insert component when coming into contact with the second leaf assembly during movement, a second portion of the dampener extends and retracts along an axis coplanar with the first panel.
HINGE DEVICE AND ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM
A hinge device includes: a first and a second hinge components having a common reference axis; and a power generating device. The first and the second hinge components are engaged with each other, so as to be rotatable about the reference axis relative to each other, and so that one of the first and the second hinge components supports the other. The power generating device includes a housing and an input shaft, and generates electric power by rotation of the input shaft. The housing of the power generating device is fixed to the first hinge component, so that the input shaft of the power generating device is positioned on the reference axis. The input shaft of the power generating device is restrained to the second hinge component with respect to the direction of rotation about the reference axis, so that the input shaft of the power generating device rotates by as much as rotation of the second hinge component when the second hinge component rotates about the reference axis.
Hinge
A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; one or more biasing components to bias the hinge toward a closed position; and a dampener to slow movement of the first and second leaf assemblies to the closed position, a first portion of the dampener is located within the first insert component and a second portion is configured to at least partially retract within the first insert component when coining into contact with the second leaf assembly during movement, a second portion of the dampener extends and retracts along an axis coplanar with the first panel.
Adjustable-angular positioning and self-closing hinges
An adjustable-angle positioning and self-closing hinge has two hinge leaves, a fixing pin, a screw knuckle, a screw ring, a fixing base, and an adjusting base; each leaf of the hinge comprises a knuckle and a leaf fastened outside the knuckle; the fixing pin has a threaded pin; the screw knuckle is fastened inside the knuckle of one of the hinge leaves, the fixing base is fastened inside the knuckle of one of the hinge leaves, and the screw knuckle and the fixing base are spaced separately; between the screw knuckle and fixing base in the knuckles of the two hinge leaves are disposed the fixing pin, the screw ring, two magnets, springs, and the adjusting base; the threaded pin of the fixing pin is screwed to the screw knuckle; a first spring abuts between the fixing pin and the front ring edge and gasket of a cup body.
Door hinge
A door hinge having inner and outer door hinge parts comprising fixing means (hinge plates) for mounting to the door frame and to the door. The outer door hinge part has two bearing portions fixedly connected by the fixing means, and the inner door hinge part has one bearing portion between the two bearing portions of the outer door hinge part. At least one bearing portion has a blind hole with a flat base, and a first cylindrical sliding cup element lies in the blind hole with its end face outer wall superficially on the base of the blind hole. The first sliding cup element has a ball socket-shaped wall containing a metal ball. A second cylindrical sliding cup element lies fully or partly in the blind hole and, on its end face facing the ball, has a concave ball socket-shaped wall lying superficially on the ball surface.
UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame, a powertrain assembly, a front suspension assembly, and a rear suspension assembly. A cargo bed may be supported by the frame at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle also includes an operator seat and at least one passenger seat positioned within an operator area. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes doors to enclose the operator area.
Multi panel components
A panel carriage hanger designed to travel slidable along a track, the panel carriage hanger having a cylindrical bore in a body, the bore having a lip substantially at a first end, the lip having a plurality of castellations. An anti-rotating sleeve having a plurality of castellations is located in the bore, and a biasing mechanism provides a substantially downwards force to the anti-rotating sleeve to mate the castellations. The anti-rotating sleeve movable substantially upwards from a first position in the bore where the castellations of the anti-rotating sleeve and the castellations of the bore mate such that the anti-rotating sleeve cannot rotate into a second position in the bore where the anti-rotating sleeve can rotate. A rod passing through and keyed to the anti-rotating sleeve such that the rod and the anti-rotating sleeve can rotate together, or both cannot rotate.
Removable hinge assemblies
Hinge assemblies having a tub knuckle, a lid leaf and a hinge pin assembly are provided. The tub knuckle has a base, a first pin holder extending from the base and a second pin holder extending from the base and spaced from the first pin holder. The lid leaf has a mounting plate and a pin holder. The hinge pin assembly is movable between a closed position and an open position, and includes a hinge pin and a retainer assembly that can be used to lock the hinge pin assembly in the closed and open positions.
DOOR HINGE
A door hinge comprising: a frame mount configured to be mounted to a door frame which is disposed about a doorway; and a door mount configured to be mounted to a door which is to selectively close off the doorway; wherein the door mount is pivotally connected to the frame mount about an axis of rotation, and further wherein the door hinge is configured such that when the frame mount is mounted to a door frame, and when the door mount is mounted to a door, the axis of rotation of the door hinge is disposed outwards of the point of attachment of the door hinge to the door frame, and laterally outboard of the doorway.
