RESISTANCE HINGE
A resistance hinge includes a first hinge bracket, a fixing shaft fastened in the first hinge bracket, a locating holder surrounding the fixing shaft, a friction part, a second hinge bracket and a transmission module. The friction part is formed in a hollow cylinder shape and surrounds the locating holder together with the fixing shaft. The second hinge bracket is pivotally mounted on the first hinge bracket. The transmission module is connected between the friction part and the second hinge bracket.
Multi-position hinge with double axles
A multi-position hinge includes a base seat, a first axle, a second axle and a sliding assembly. The first and second axles rotatably extend through the base seat in a first direction and are spaced apart from each other in a second direction. The first axle has a first recess, a second recess and a first gear portion. The second axle has a third recess, a fourth recess and a second gear portion corresponding with the first recess, the second recess and the first gear portion, respectively. The sliding assembly includes a first sliding member engageable with the first and third recesses, and a second sliding member engageable with the second and fourth recesses. The first and second axles are rotatable in turn and then rotated synchronously to perform multi-position shifting.
FOLDABLE DISPLAY APPARATUS
A foldable display apparatus includes: a display panel; first and second set housings arranged in a first direction and supporting the display panel; and a hinge assembly disposed between and connected to the first and second set housings. The hinge assembly is configured to: rotate the first and second set housings inward to in-fold the display panel so that the display panel is disposed between the first set housing and the second set housing; rotate the first and second set housings outward to out-fold the display panel so that the first set housing and the second set housing are disposed between the out-folded display panel; and position the first and second set housings flat to unfold the display panel so that the display panel is flat on the first set housing, the second set housing, and the hinge assembly.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device including a first body, a second body, and a hinge mechanism is provided. The second body is connected to the first body through the hinge mechanism, and the hinge mechanism has a basis axis located at the first body and a rotation axis located at a lower end of the second body. When the second body rotates with respect to the first body, the rotation axis slides along an arc shaped path with respect to the basis axis to increase or decrease a distance between the rotation axis and the basis axis and increase or decrease a distance between the lower end of the second body and a back end of the first body.
Hinge
A hinge includes: a base seat that includes a rack extending in a front-back direction; a moving platform that is movable on the base seat along the front-back direction; and a shaft unit that includes a rotating shaft rotatably extending through the moving platform in a left-right direction, a main gear member rotatably extending through the moving platform, co-movable with the moving platform, and meshed with the rack to constitute a rack and pinion system, and a first bevel gear piece fixedly sleeved on the rotating shaft, and meshed with the main gear member such that rotation of the rotating shaft results in collective linear front-back motion of the shaft unit and the moving platform relative to the base seat.
Ligature-resistant hinge cap
A ligature-resistant hinge cap according to certain embodiments is configured for use with a hinge including a pair of leaves and a connecting portion connecting the pair of leaves. The ligature-resistant hinge cap generally includes a body portion comprising a base configured to cover an upper face of the connecting portion, a flange extending rearward from the body portion, a rear side defined by the flange, and a front side opposite the rear side, wherein the front side is sloped.
THINNED HINGE
A thinned hinge includes a rotating part and a torsion supply part. The rotating part includes a base and two movable members arranged on the base, the base includes two tracks for the movable members to displace along arc-shaped trajectories to generate opening and closing actions, and ends of the two movable members where extend outward from the two tracks are provided with driving members. The torsion supply part supplies torsion required by the rotating part, the torsion supply part includes a support, two rotating shafts arranged in parallel on the support, and an idle gear arranged between the two rotating shafts, the two rotating shafts are provided with connecting pieces assembled with the driving members to enable the torsion supply part and the rotating part to simultaneously act and gears engaged with the idle gear, and the gears and the idle gear are crossed helical gear structures.
HINGE APPARATUS INCLUDING CAM STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A hinge apparatus according to various embodiments may include: a bracket including a first coupling part formed in a first direction with respect to a middle of the bracket and a second coupling part formed in a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to the middle of the bracket, a first body part including a first plate, a first rotation part coupled with the first plate fastened to the first coupling part of the bracket and configured to rotate about the bracket, and a first cam formed in the first rotation part, a second body part including a second plate, a second rotation part coupled with the second plate fastened to the second coupling part of the bracket and configured to rotate about the bracket, and a second cam formed in the second rotation part, and a torque provision unit, including a first follower including a first cam part engaged with the first cam structure and disposed in the bracket, a second follower including a second cam part engaged with the second cam structure and disposed in the bracket, and a pressurizing part disposed in the bracket between the first follower and the second follower and configured to provide an elastic force to the first follower and the second follower in opposite directions.
MULTI-POSITION HINGE WITH DOUBLE AXLES
A multi-position hinge includes a base seat, a first axle, a second axle and a sliding assembly. The first and second axles rotatably extend through the base seat in a first direction and are spaced apart from each other in a second direction. The first axle has a first recess, a second recess and a first gear portion. The second axle has a third recess, a fourth recess and a second gear portion corresponding with the first recess, the second recess and the first gear portion, respectively. The sliding assembly includes a first sliding member engageable with the first and third recesses, and a second sliding member engageable with the second and fourth recesses. The first and second axles are rotatable in turn and then rotated synchronously to perform multi-position shifting.
Hinge module and foldable display device including the same
Disclosed is a hinge module including a hinge structure having a first sub-hinge structure including a first center bracket and a first hinge bracket that rotates through a specified angle in a first direction and a second sub-hinge structure including a second center bracket and a second hinge bracket that rotates through a specified angle in an opposite direction to the first direction. The first hinge bracket and the second hinge bracket are separated from each other and are disposed between the first center bracket and the second center bracket, and hinge motion of the first sub-hinge structure is performed independently of hinge motion of the second sub-hinge structure. The hinge module and a foldable display device including the hinge module suppress a phenomenon in which the hinge module is opened when the housing structures are twisted, thereby preventing damage to the foldable display device.
