Secure Door Hinge Assembly for Security Compartment
A door hinge assembly for securing access to a security compartment is disclosed in which the door is received within a recess of a door frame that is in turn fixed to a security compartment. The door rotates between closed and open positions by rotating about a pivot connection that is formed between the door and the door frame by a high security gooseneck. The gooseneck is fixed to the door and has a gooseneck channel formed of first and second wall portions and a lower portion connecting the two wall portions. One of the wall portions is connected to a pivot point beneath the door frame and the other to the connection portion connected to the door.
Boot hinge cover trim fixing
A hinge cover member (20) for use with a swan neck type hinge (12) has an elongate channel shaped portion (24) for receiving the hinge arm (14) and a housing portion (13) for location about a mounting structure (18) which attaches the hinge arm to the closure. The housing portion defines at least one formation (70) for attaching an edge (72) of a trim panel (56) mounted to the closure to the housing portion. The formation (70) may be a clip which clamps the edge (72) of the trim panel. The trim panel (56 may have a live hinge (74) adjacent the edge about which the panel can flex. During adjustment of the closure (13) relative to the hinge, the edge region (72) of the trim panel is constrained to move with the hinge cover.
Manufacturing method of vehicle door hinge and vehicle
A vehicle door hinge that has a desorption function while enabling weight reduction and increasing production efficiency. The vehicle door hinge comprises a base member (2U) fixed to the door-side of the vehicle, a base member (3U) fixed to the vehicle body side; a hinge shaft (4U) rotatably connects the base members (2U, 3U) to each other; a screwed body (5U) that is detachably screwed in the axial direction to the hinge shaft (4U) so that the base member (3U) and the hinge shaft (4U) rotate integrally; bushes (6U, 7U) fitted into a shaft holes (22U) of the base member (2U) so that the base member (2U) and the hinge shaft can rotate relative to each other; and a retaining portion (8U) for preventing the hinge shaft (4U) from coming off from the shaft hole (22U) of the base member. The base members (2U, 3U) are cast from aluminum alloy.
AUTOMOTIVE LIFT-OFF HINGE WITH INTEGRATED DOOR CHECK
An automotive lift-off hinge joint to rotationally connect an automotive door and body comprises first and second door side hinge brackets and a body side hinge bracket. A detent shaft is provided with an interiorly threaded intermediate portion adapted to receive a removable threaded fastener and with a shaped detent shaft feature adapted to engage a similarly shaped pyramidal portion of a guide pin fastened to the body side hinge bracket. The detent shaft is rotationally mounted within a cylindrical check mechanism and secured in relation to the first and second door side hinge brackets. Bushings in door side hinge bracket apertures allow rotation of portions of the detent shaft extending through the apertures. The pyramidal shaped portions are preferably square.
DOOR HINGE MOUNT OF SIDE OUTER PANEL FOR VEHICLE
A door hinge mount of a side external panel for a vehicle, may provide the door hinge mount, capable of being formed of a material, requiring low initial investment expenses, and securing the same level of rigidity as in the case where a steel material is used.
Fan cowl failsafe gooseneck assembly
A gooseneck hinge assembly includes a first gooseneck hinge portion having a first portion first end coupled to a first surface, a first portion second end having a first portion aperture to receive a pin, and a first gooseneck curve between the first portion first end and the first portion second end. The assembly further includes a second gooseneck hinge portion being a mirror image of the first hinge portion and having a second portion first end coupled to the first surface, a second portion second end having a second portion aperture to receive the pin, and a second gooseneck curve between the second portion first end and the second portion second end. The assembly further includes the pin coupled to a second surface and to extend through the first portion aperture and the second portion aperture to facilitate rotation of the second surface relative to the first surface.
Bonnet hinge structure
The disclosure provides a bonnet hinge structure. The bonnet hinge structure pivotally supports the bonnet to the vehicle body from the rear end of the bonnet, and includes: a lower hinge member fixed to the vehicle body; an upper hinge member fixed to the bonnet fixing portion of the bonnet, and pivotally connected to the lower hinge member in a manner of being able to rotate to a first height relative to the lower hinge member in the up-down direction of the vehicle body; and a rotation suppressing portion provided with a deviation restricting member. When the upper hinge member is deformed in the left-right direction of the vehicle body, the deviation restricting member comes into contact with the upper hinge member at a position of the second height lower than the first height from the top of the upper hinge member, and prevents the upper hinge member from rotating.
Two part boot hinge cover
A hinge cover assembly (10) for a hinge having an elongate hinge arm has first and second cover members (20, 22) mountable about the hinge arm so as to completely encircle the hinge arm over at least part of its length. The first cover member (20) has a channel portion (24) which surrounds the arm on three sides and the second cover member (22) is mountable to the first enclose the arm on the other side. The first cover member (20) has locking projections (46) on the inner surface of a side wall that engage in apertures in the hinge arm. The cover assembly (10) is particularly suited for use with a swan neck hinged used to mount a boot lid to a vehicle body. A housing portion (32) of the first cover member encapsulates a mounting structure of the hinge and may have a clip formation for clamping an edge region of a trim panel mounted to the boot lid.
Locking hinge apparatus for aircraft doors
Locking hinge apparatus for aircraft doors are disclosed. An example locking hinge apparatus includes a hinge base to couple to a frame of an aircraft. A hinge gooseneck is to pivotally couple a door to the hinge base. The hinge gooseneck is to allow the door to move between a closed position and an open position relative to the frame. A lever is pivotally coupled to the hinge base. The lever is to pivot relative to the hinge base between a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction. The lever includes a lock to engage a portion of the hinge gooseneck to prevent rotational movement of the door relative to the frame when the door is in the open position. A biasing element is to urge the lever in the first rotational direction.
Truck cap
A truck cap having a cap body with an opening, and a cap door that is movable between open and closed positions with respect to the opening. At least one hinge that attaches to the cap body and the cap door of the truck cap. The hinge includes a first hinge bracket member and a second hinge bracket member. The first hinge bracket member includes a hinge bracket to receive a pivot pin. The second hinge bracket member includes a hinge bracket with an opening sized to receive at least a portion of the pivot pin. The first hinge bracket member and the second hinge bracket member are pivotable with respect to each other about the pivot pin. A longitudinally extending gas prop pivotably attached to the pin extending from the second angled portion of the first hinge bracket member and to the pin of the second hinge bracket member.
