SHOWER DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY
A hinge assembly includes a first hinged body, a pivot pin assembly, and a second hinged body. The first hinged body includes a channel. The pivot pin assembly includes a pin body configured to slideably engage the channel. The pivot pin assembly may be translated within the channel and adjustably secured along the channel. The pin body includes a downwardly extending pin. The second hinged body comprises a pin aperture configured to cooperatively receive the pin. The first hinged body and the second hinged body are configured to hingedly pivot along a hinge axis defined by the pin when the pin is received in the pin aperture. The pin body may include a pin body aperture configured to receive an alignment fastener such that the pin body may be tilt adjusted relative to the first hinged body.
Articulating friction hinge for a mountable lighting device
A lighting device comprising an improved hinge assembly, and methods of assembly thereof, are disclosed.
NUT FOR THREADED HINGE PIN
In at least one implementation, a nut for a hinge pin includes a head and a sidewall portion extending from the head to a free end. The sidewall portion includes at least one void that defines part of at least one sidewall section. The void extends radially through the sidewall portion and along at least part of the axial extent of the sidewall portion including the free end so that the free end of the sidewall portion is not circumferentially continuous.
Automotive door hinge
A vehicle door hinge that includes a door bracket mountable to a vehicle door, a body bracket mountable to a vehicle body, a pivot bushing having a cylindrical bearing that is disposed within a pivot axis hole of the body bracket, and a pivot pin that rotatably couples the door bracket and the body bracket together. The pivot pin includes a first shoulder disposed within the cylindrical bearing; and the pivot pin includes a second shoulder extending from the first shoulder. The second shoulder has a knurled cylindrical surface that is disposed within a pivot axis hole of the door bracket.
Threaded Bolt, and Hinge Assembly Comprising Such a Threaded Bolt
A threaded bolt for a hinge arrangement includes a cylindrical main body. On an outer circumferential surface thereof the cylindrical main body has a first frustoconical projection and a second frustoconical projection, which adjoins the first frustoconical projection. The diameter of a side of the first frustoconical projection that faces toward the second frustoconical projection is smaller than the diameter of a side of the second frustoconical projection that faces toward the first frustoconical projection. The first frustoconical projection comprises at least one tooth on its outer circumferential surface, which tooth protrudes radially beyond an imaginary continuation of the second frustoconical projection.
VEHICLE HOOD HINGE
A hinge assembly having a first bracket mountable to a hood or a body component and having a flange with an opening; a second bracket mountable to the other of the hood and the body component and having a flange with an opening; a bushing coupled to the first bracket and having a base disposed in the opening of the first bracket and defining a bore; a spacer, which includes a base having a first side with a knurl and a second opposite side, a shoulder extending from the second side into the bore, and a through hole extending through the base and the shoulder; a fastener having a head and a threaded shank extending from the head through the opening in the second bracket and the through hole in the spacer; and a nut threaded to the threaded shank with an end surface of the nut contacting the knurl.
Detachable hinge for glass frame
There is described a hinge for detachably connecting a door or window to a wall or a frame such as a windshield. The hinge comprising a shaft extending longitudinally, further comprising a blocker which is extendable about the shaft. A first socketed member is fixed to the shaft, and a second socketed member comprises a lumen for sliding the shaft therein. The lumen comprises a cavity larger than a remainder of the lumen and which defines an inward edge on which the blocker abuts, thereby retaining the shaft in the lumen. The shaft comprises an inner recess which can house the blocker therein if the inner recess is aligned with the blocker, thereby retracting the blocker from the cavity and releasing the shaft from the second socketed member and allowing the first socketed member and the second socketed member to be separated. This can be useful for detaching a door of a boat windshield, for example.
Door alignment pin bolt with the thread on the top and the bottom
The current invention is vehicle door alignment pin bolts with a bolt thread on the top and the bottom. The current invention will have two components, a door bolt with a thread on the top and a thread on the bottom with an angled bolt cap in the middle and a bolt nut with an opening on the bottom that fits over the angled bolt cap. The allows for the reconnecting the door to the frame of the vehicle in a quicker and more efficient manner.
ARTICULATING FRICTION HINGE FOR A MOUNTABLE LIGHTING DEVICE
A lighting device comprising an improved hinge assembly, and methods of assembly thereof, are disclosed.
Slider for window regulator with adjustment mechanism
An adjustable slider of a window regulator includes a base body configured to connect with a cable of the window regulator and a clamp-plate assembly having first and second jaws configured to clamp a windowpane therebetween. A hinge plate supports the clamp-plate assembly. A first adjustment mechanism pivotally connects the hinge plate to the base body such that the clamp-plate assembly and the hinge plate are pivotal relative to the base body allowing a vertical angle of the clamp-plate assembly to be changed. The first adjustment mechanism is actuatable to move the hinge plate relative to the base body in a fore-and-aft direction allowing a fore-and-aft position of the clamp-plate assembly to be adjusted.
