A method of mounting a switch cabinet door to a switch cabinet body. At least two hinges arranged vertically one above the other, at least a first of the hinges, which is arranged above a second of the hinges, having a first body-side hinge half with a first hinge pin which projects vertically upwards from a first pin seat, onto which a first door-side hinge half is fitted, wherein the first hinge pin has an auxiliary mounting position in which it projects from the first pin seat by a first length which is greater than a second length by which a second hinge pin of a second body-side hinge half of the second hinge projects from its second pin seat.

Shower door hinge assembly

A hinge assembly includes a first hinged body, a pivot pin assembly, and a second hinged body. The first hinged body includes a channel. The pivot pin assembly includes a pin body configured to slideably engage the channel. The pivot pin assembly may be translated within the channel and adjustably secured along the channel. The pin body includes a downwardly extending pin. The second hinged body comprises a pin aperture configured to cooperatively receive the pin. The first hinged body and the second hinged body are configured to hingedly pivot along a hinge axis defined by the pin when the pin is received in the pin aperture. The pin body may include a pin body aperture configured to receive an alignment fastener such that the pin body may be tilt adjusted relative to the first hinged body.

A locking hinge is provided. The hinge includes axially aligned pins attached to a first leaf and corresponding spaced knuckles attached to a second leaf. Each pin is designed for one-way insertion into one of the corresponding knuckles. Once inserted, each pin is locked in an axially fixed position relative to each knuckle.

DETACHABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY

The disclosed invention is a detachable hinge assembly, which, in one embodiment, can be employed on a cooler to provide a cooler with a removable lid. The hinge assembly includes a first attachment bar and second attachment bar coupled to the cooler body and lid, respectively, and are connected through a releasable hinge assembly which pivotably couples to both the first and second attachment bars. The releasable hinges each have an end flange constructed to pivotably couple to the first and second attachment bars and a projection having both a clip and a receiving portion. The clip from each projection is adapted to releasably couple to the receiving portion of the corresponding projection.

A pin for a hinge or articulated connection comprising two articulated pieces or hinge leaves having in each instance a receiving space for the pin such as an articulated pin or hinge pin, which receiving space is oriented coaxial to the joint axis or hinge axis, wherein the articulated pin or hinge pin is formed of two parts, and wherein the inner end of the one pin part can be connected to the inner end of the other pin part by means of toothed engagement, hooking engagement or clipping engagement.

Bucket of a rope shovel

A retaining arm is attached to an end of a padlock pin forming a hinged connection between a padlock and a bucket of a rope shovel, the retaining arm extending perpendicularly to an axis of the padlock pin to connect to a connecting element on the bucket to restrain rotation of the padlock pin relative to the bucket.

SEPARABLE MOUNTING HINGE DEVICE
20250146341 · 2025-05-08 · ·

A separable mounting hinge device including two detachably engageable leaf hinge members wherein the first hinge member includes at least two knuckles affixed around a pin leaving at least one open knuckle seat therebetween. The second hinge member includes at least one open knuckle capable of operationally engaging around the pin and at least one leaf-knuckle protrusion. The second hinge member may also include a retention member. These hinge members' knuckle(s) and affixed pin open knuckle seat(s) operationally interlock thereby allowing for typical hinge movements, while detachment of said members simply requires the application of force within specifically designated angular ranges to overcome the protrusion, and potentially included retention member. As designed, the separable mounting hinge device minimizes the likelihood of any incidental or accidental detachment and obviates the need to unfasten at least one hinge from a door, panel, or frame only to refasten it later.

A hinge clip assembly is provided for coupling a lid to a container having a hinge pin. The assembly includes a first body, a second body, and a hinge pivotally connecting the bodies for movement between a shipment position and an installed position. In the installed position, at least a portion of the lid is sandwiched between the first body and the second body. The hinge defines a pin receiver configured to engage the hinge pin of the container, thereby permitting rotation of the lid relative to the container. Various embodiments include a living hinge integrally formed with the first and second bodies, snaps that secure the assembly to through-holes in the lid, and stops that limit rotation of the lid in a closed position. The assembly may further include recessed or complementary lid regions that stabilize the hinge connection and reduce lateral movement.
