The pin body includes a downwardly extending pin. The second hinged body comprises a pin aperture configured to cooperatively receive the pin. The first hinged body and the second hinged body are configured to hingedly pivot along a hinge axis defined by the pin when the pin is received in the pin aperture. The pin body may include a pin body aperture configured to receive an alignment fastener such that the pin body may be tilt adjusted relative to the first hinged body.

A gate hinge apparatus and method adapted to be fastened to a vertical gate and to a post, comprising: a L-bolt having an elongated horizontal portion formed with thread and a transition into a vertical male member; a first bracket having a female mounting flange mounted to either the gate or the post disposed adjacent to the gate as elected by said user; a second bracket having a plate having one or more threaded means for holding and retaining said L-bolt, which is mounted to the gate or the post disposed adjacent to the gate; said L-bolt uses its vertical male member to connect to said female mounting flange; and said L-bolt has one or more nuts that are positioned on said thread on said elongated horizontal portion of said L-bolt to adjust said hinge. The method comprising: rotating the nut in a first angular direction to increase the gap width; and rotating the bolt in a second angular direction, to decrease the gap width.

Hinge assembly

A hinge assembly is designed to reduce the number of details in the hinge assembly and to simplify the construction of the hinge assembly. The hinge assembly includes an arm having a length with a pivot post on a first end of the arm and an arm lock on an opposite second end of the arm. An internally screw threaded hole extends through the arm block. The plate is attached to the second end of the arm. The plate has a plate surface configured for attachment to a ceiling panel and an opposite adjustment surface. A ridge extends across the adjustment surface and a slot extends through the ridge. The arm block is positioned adjacent the ridge with the internally screw threaded hole of the arm block aligned with the slot through the ridge. An externally screw threaded rod extends through the slot and is screw threaded into the internally screw threaded hole through the arm block. The externally screw threaded rod is turned in opposite directions to alternatively lock the arm to the plate, and release the arm from the plate for adjustable positioning of the plate relative to the arm.

The fitting portions are movable between a first position, in which the furniture parts are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position, in which the furniture parts are aligned substantially parallel to one another. A cover can at least partially cover a gap formed between the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion, and a movement of the cover can be coupled to a movement of the furniture hinge. The first fitting portion and/or the second fitting portion includes an abutment, and the cover includes a counter-abutment. Upon a relative movement of the fitting portions, the abutment abuts against the counter-abutment. The cover, due to the abutment bearing against the counter-abutment, can be moved about the hinge axis.

A gap is formed between the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion in at least one relative position of the furniture hinge, and the adjustment element can be actuated by introducing a tool into the gap.
