An interlocking hinge is described. The interlocking hinge includes a first hinge member and a second hinge member. The first hinge member and the second hinge member interlock in a separable engagement.

Hinge assembly for an appliance

An appliance includes a cabinet defining at least one chamber accessible via an opening. The appliance also includes a cover member movable between an open position and a closed position for providing selective access to the opening. The appliance includes a hinge assembly constructed of a polymer material and operably coupled to the cover member. The hinge assembly includes first and second hinge members. The first hinge member is fixedly secured to the cabinet. The second hinge member includes a base portion fixedly secured to cover member and a pin portion. The pin portion is rotatably secured to the first hinge member to move the cover member between the open and closed positions. In the open position, the first and second hinge members cooperatively engage together to restrict movement of the cover member in the open position. In the closed position, the cabinet restricts movement of the cover member.

DOOR HINGE WITH INTEGRATED DETENT AND STOP

A multi-position door hinge is coupled to a vehicle and includes a first hinge having a pin support, a pin, and a key. The multi-position door hinge additionally includes a second hinge having a receiving cam, a key way, and a cam groove. The multi-position door hinge is formed by coupling the first hinge to the second hinge by positioning the pin in the receiving cam with the key positioned in the key way.

Refrigerated food preparation table and hinge bracket for holding lid partially or fully open

A refrigerated food preparation table that includes a food item storage pan with a lid that is allowed to fully close and is held in a partially open position and in a fully open position and hinge brackets or apparatuses for holding a lid in a partially opened position and a fully opened position that include a slot, a surface, and an indentation that each engage pins on the lid. In various embodiments, the slot receives one such pin, the surface guides another pin on the lid as the lid is opened from a fully closed position to the partially opened position, the indentation receives the second pin when the lid is in the partially opened position, and the slot contains the first pin and the second pin when the lid is fully open. The food preparation table can be used to prepare pizza, for example.

A hinge for a vehicle has a first and second leaf. The first leaf includes a barrel or knuckle to receive a pin. The barrel or knuckle has a first and second end. The second leaf includes an opening to receive the barrel or knuckle. A pair of legs extend from a body defining the opening. A first leg has the pin to insert into the first end of the barrel or knuckle. The pin extends into the knuckle. A second leg extends adjacent to the second end of the barrel or knuckle so that in a first or closed position, the second leg contacts or blocks the barrel or knuckle when the second leaf is moved axial along an axis of the pin to remove the door. When the second leaf moves to a second position with respect to the first leaf, the second leg clears the barrel or knuckle to enable movement of the second leaf along the pin axis to enable removal of the pin from the barrel or knuckle.

EXTRUSION-COATED STRUCTURAL MEMBERS HAVING EXTRUDED PROFILE MEMBERS

The present disclosure relates to extrusion-coated structural systems including at least one extruded profile member coupled to and extending outwardly from an extrusion-coated structural member, as well as methods of making and using the same. Structural systems of the present invention that include at least one extruded profile member may exhibit enhanced flexibility, functionality, and/or durability. Structural systems according to embodiments of the present invention can be suitable for use in a variety of applications, including in ready-to-assemble furniture or cabinetry applications or as building and construction materials such as wall board, flooring, trim, and the like.

REMOVABLY INTERLOCKING BARREL HINGE
20170167172 · 2017-06-15 ·

Disclosed is a removably interlocking barrel hinge assembly that allows for relative rotation of parts as well as disconnection of the parts. Connectors of the hinge assembly include tabs and recesses that are configured to align and rotate relative to one another. Overlapping of tabs prevents separation in the axial direction, while still allowing for rotation. When disconnection of the parts is desired, the tabs and recesses of the connectors can be aligned, and then pulled apart. The hinge assembly provides in one instance 180 degrees of relative rotation. It may be implemented in a number of devices, including knives and surgical instruments, for example.
