A portable urinal device includes a base forming a liquid receptacle. Tubing extends from the base to a head member which can be positioned onto genitalia for urination. Suction is provided via a pump or vacuum device to suction urine from the head into the base receptacle.

DISPOSABLE THROMBECTOMY MACERATION AND ASPIRATION SYSTEM

A disposable thrombectomy maceration and aspiration system for macerating and aspirating thrombus or other obstructive material in a lumen of a vascular graft or vessel. The system includes three major components: a disposable integrated aspiration pump and fluid collection device for generating aspiration vacuum pressure and collecting macerated particulate, a disposable integrated thrombectomy and aspiration apparatus removably coupled to the device configured to macerate the thrombus with a motor powered maceration wire while including an aspiration pathway for aspirating the macerated particulate into the device, and a catheter removably coupled to the apparatus and covering a portion of the maceration wire for insertion into the patient to the thrombus site. The catheter is of sufficient size to allow the macerated particulate to be aspirated from a distal opening through the catheter and apparatus before being deposited into the fluid collection compartment of the device.

SUCTION ASSEMBLY

A suction assembly is described. The suction assembly includes a therapy unit with a body that can apply a supplemental therapy to a skin surface. The suction assembly also includes a cup that can be removably connected to the therapy unit and that can interface with a skin surface to define a chamber within the cup. A pump of the therapy unit can reduce a pressure within the chamber to draw the skin surface into the chamber in a cupping therapy. In response to the skin surface being drawn into the chamber, the body can move in a longitudinal direction to maintain contact with the skin surface. A wall of the cup is translucent and the suction assembly is dimensioned to provide a user with a view into the chamber through the wall of the cup that is substantially unobstructed by the housing.

Sound-Attenuating Enclosure For A Vacuum Source Of A Waste Collection Unit

A waste collection unit including a waste container, and vacuum source to collect medical waste into the waste container. The vacuum source is disposed within a sound attenuating enclosure that defines an enclosure inlet for receiving cooling air and an enclosure outlet for discharging warmed cooling air. The sound attenuating enclosure is at least partially formed of a sound-absorbing material and may define a pocket for receiving a first end of the vacuum source. The first end of the vacuum source may engage a seat of the sound attenuating enclosure to provide a cooling air barrier. The seat may define a bottom portion of the pocket. Internal geometries of the sound attenuating enclosure may be shaped to define another air path that does not pass through the vacuum source. A plenum may be attached to the sound attenuating enclosure and define a plenum chamber to collect the warmed cooling air.

DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTING SNOT
20220143294 · 2022-05-12 ·

The present disclosure discloses a device for automatically collecting snot, which comprises a suction nozzle, a collecting cup, a cup holder and a shell component which are detachably connected in sequence, wherein the shell component is a hollow cavity. The present disclosure generates negative pressure suction through the air pump, and then the suction air enters the inner collecting cup through the air suction pipe, the cup holder air inlet, the air inlet channel and the micropore in sequence. Finally, the suction sucks the snot in the nose of a user into the inner collecting cup through the suction nozzle, effectively solving the problem of snot reflux.

SURGICAL DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FACILITATING MULTIPLE FLOW PATH FLUID MANAGEMENT

A fluid management cassette includes a cassette body configured for insertion into a cassette bay of a control console, the cassette body including a face plate having at least one fluid input port and at least first and second fluid output ports defined therethrough. A pump is disposed within the cassette body as is a valve manifold, first and second pinch valves, or at least one pressure sensitive valve. First and second fluid flow paths extending through the cassette body have shared connections to the pump and separate connections to the respective first and second fluid output ports. The valve manifold, first and second pinch valves, or at least one pressure sensitive valve is selectively actuatable to at least four different configurations to permit fluid flow along either, neither, or both of the first and second fluid flow paths.

Skin cleansing device having interchangeable cleansing heads

A skin cleansing device has a base body and a removable cleansing head. The base body houses a vacuum pump and has a mount for connecting to the removable cleansing head. The mount has an opening into the base body and a support surface. The removable cleansing head has a collection portion and a mounting portion. The collection portion defines an inlet and an internal cavity. The mounting portion has a stem defining a channel fluidly connected to the internal cavity. The cleansing head is removably connectable to the base body with the stem being configured to be received in the opening of the mount. The vacuum pump is configured to generate a fluid flow through the internal cavity and the channel into the base body such that a suction force is generated at the inlet.

Emesis Containment Device

An emesis containment device is configured to draw in airborne infectious and other particles and may include a ring guard, emesis bag, filter, and pump to draw air through the filter.

Waste collection unit

A waste collection unit is provided that comprises a vacuum pump and smoke evacuation system including a blower and blower motor. The vacuum pump, the blower, and the blower motor, create noise. This noise is attenuated in first and second sound attenuating enclosures for the vacuum pump and the blower and blower motor. A cleaning system is also provided with rotating liquid delivery devices. An actuator is operatively coupled to the liquid delivery devices to rotate the liquid delivery devices.
