An example device includes a first member, a second member, and a hinge. The hinge pivotably couples the first member to the second member. The hinge includes a damper. The damper includes core, and the core has a lobed portion. In another example, a device includes a first mounting member, a second mounting member, a first connector pivotably coupled to the first mounting member at a first hinge and to the second mounting member at a second hinge, a second connector pivotably coupled to the first mounting member at a third hinge and to the second mounting member at a fourth hinge, and a damper positioned at least at one of the first hinge, second hinge, third hinge or the fourth hinge, the damper including core with lobed portion.

There is disclosed a double hinge module comprising a first rotary cam which is rotatable on a first shaft; a first coupling slot extended from one end of the first rotary cam in a direction which gets farther from the first shaft; a second rotary cam which is rotatable on the second shaft parallel with the first shaft in the reverse direction of the first rotary cam; a second coupling slot extended from one end of the second rotary cam which gets farther from the second shaft; and a link having one end coupled to the first coupling slot and the other end coupled to the second coupling slot, wherein when the first rotary cam and the second rotary cam are rotating, the link is linearly movable in parallel with a central line connecting the first shaft and the second shaft with each other, so that the double hinge module may fold the mobile terminal from 0? to 180? naturally like a book.

A torsion washer of the present disclosure includes a base portion and an elastic unit extended from the base portion. The elastic unit includes an external elastic arm and a torsion-adjusting arm arranged inside the external elastic arm. A space surrounded by the base portion and the external elastic arm is divided into a hole and a slot, in air communication with the hole, by using the torsion-adjusting arm. A distance, i.e., a radius, between the external elastic arm and a center of the hole is larger than a distance, i.e., an interference distance, between the torsion-adjusting arm and the center of the hole. Moreover, the present disclosure provides a torsion device including a plurality of the torsion washers and a shaft coupling through the holes of the torsion washers, and the shaft is configured to selectively contact each torsion-adjusting arm.

A torsion washer of the present disclosure includes a base portion and an elastic unit extended from the base portion. The elastic unit includes an external elastic arm and a torsion-adjusting arm arranged inside the external elastic arm. A space surrounded by the base portion and the external elastic arm is divided into a hole and a slot, in air communication with the hole, by using the torsion-adjusting arm. A distance, i.e., a radius, between the external elastic arm and a center of the hole is larger than a distance, i.e., an interference distance, between the torsion-adjusting arm and the center of the hole. Moreover, the present disclosure provides a torsion device including a plurality of the torsion washers and a shaft coupling through the holes of the torsion washers, and the shaft is configured to selectively contact each torsion-adjusting arm.

To provide a hinge device with an actuator unit such as a rotation dumper or the like which may omit engraving and may make appearance good by narrowing a joint. By a hinge device 3, a second member 2 is connected to a first member rotatably. A first cooperation part 11 of the hinge device 3 is rotatably fixed to the first member 1. A connection member 30 is connected to the first cooperation part 11 rotatably about a first axis line L1 and then is fixed rotatably to the second member 2. A second cooperation part 22 is connected to a connection member 30 rotatably about a second axis line L2 and then is made to cooperate with the first cooperation part 11. A first actuator 41 of an actuator unit 40 such as a rotation dumper or the like is fixed rotatably to the second cooperation part 22 and then a second actuator 42 is fixed rotatably to the second member 2. When the second member 2 is made to rotate, the second cooperation part 22 rotates about the first axis line L1 with respect to the first cooperation part 11 and rotates about the second axis line L2 with respect to the second actuator 42.

A friction hinge is described. Generally, the friction hinge provides a variable torque profile for a movable component.

In one general aspect, a method of coupling a base to a lid of a computing device using a hinge can include coupling a base hinge flange to the base, the base hinge flange being connected to a base hinge part that includes a knuckle including a toggle pivot, the toggle pivot coupled to and surrounding a first portion of a first shaft, and coupling a lid hinge flange to the lid, the lid hinge flange being connected to a main hinge part that includes a first cam, the lid hinge flange including a first lid main band and a second lid main band surrounding a first portion of a second shaft, the second shaft being parallel to the first shaft.

A door closer assembly includes a central shaft rotatingly mounted in an outer housing and which passes through at least one brake pad. One or more wedges are slidingly mounted on the central shaft by means of a fastener. The wedges, upon tightening of the fastener, wedge against an inclined surface, which forces the wedges downwards and applies a downwards force that causes a friction-enhanced surface to rub against the at least one brake pad.

A hinge device for connecting first and second objects includes a base seat and a sliding member slidably connected to the base seat through a coupling member to be turned about a rotating axis between folded and unfolded states. In the folded state, first and second object connecting sections of the base seat and the sliding member are disposed at two opposite sides of a mounting section of the base seat to allow folding of the objects to each other. In the unfolded state, the second object connecting section is placed above the first object connecting section to allow the second object to be unfolded and inclined to the first object.
