Drainage system with O-ring
A drainage system, the drainage system comprising a container having an interior and a mouth, the mouth comprising an outer surface and an opening, a frangible seal covering the opening, a cap secured to the mouth and in fluid communication with a drainage line, the cap having an inner surface configured to engage with the outer surface of the mouth, an O-ring located at least partially between the outer surface of the mouth and the inner surface of the cap and configured to form a fluid seal between a space defined by the cap and the space located externally of the drainage system, and a retaining ring circumferentially engaging the cap.
Suction stent, stent system, and method for sealing a leakage
A suction stent for introduction into a hollow organ of the human or animal body, preferably into the gastrointestinal tract, in particular the intestine, includes a tubular hollow body which is open in the longitudinal direction and made of biocompatible material. The tubular hollow body has a fixed diameter at least in its central portion. A porous shapeable material, preferably a sponge material, which is biocompatible and shapeable in the radial direction, radially sheaths the tubular hollow body at least in a section of the tubular hollow body. A method for sealing a leakage, especially an anastomosis, of the hollow organ utilizes the stent.
SURGICAL DRAIN SYSTEM AND CONTAINER
A portable drain system having a subdermal drain and a container in fluid communication with the subdermal drain is disclosed. The subdermal drain is configured to drain fluid from a surgical site. The container provides a negative pressure to the subdermal drain. The container draws and receives the fluid. The container includes at least one sensor in which the at least one sensor is configured to detect at least one of fluid color, fluid volume in the container, and orientation of the container.
SURGICAL DRAIN SYSTEM AND CONTAINER
A container for a portable surgical drain system to receive a fluid from a drain at a surgical site is disclosed. The container includes a drain hub having at least one sensor and a cartridge removably coupled to the drain hub in fluid communication with the drain to provide a suction source to draw and receive the fluid from the surgical site. The at least one sensor detects a characteristic of the fluid in the cartridge.
SYSTEM FOR DRAINAGE OF FLUIDS OR WOUND SECRETION
The invention relates to a system for drainage of fluids or wound secretion from body and/or tissue openings of the human or animal body comprising a bag-like reservoir for collecting the fluid or wound secretion, with an upper inlet opening and a lower outlet opening, and a pre-evacuated container with an inlet opening, wherein the inlet opening of the pre-evacuated container is connected to the lower outlet opening of the bag-shaped reservoir.
CONTAINER FOR DRAINAGE OF FLUIDS OR WOUND SECRETION
The invention relates to a container for drainage of fluids or wound secretion, comprising an inlet opening to connect with a drainage line and an outlet opening for releasing waste air accumulated inside the container during drainage, which is characterized in that the container is pre-evacuated, and the outlet opening is sealable, so that the container is transferable in a first and in a second operating condition, wherein in the first operating condition the outlet opening is sealed, so that a suction can be achieved at the inlet opening caused by the vacuum inside the container, and in the second operating condition the outlet opening is opened, so that air can enter the container through the outlet opening and neutralize the vacuum present inside the container.
VACUUM CONTAINER
The invention relates to a vacuum container for drainage of fluids or wound secretion, wherein the vacuum container is pre-evacuated, with an inlet opening for connection to a drainage line, wherein at the inlet opening a vacuum indicator is located and that the inlet opening is sealable. The invention further relates to a drainage line for drainage of fluids or wound secretion, wherein the drainage line has a vacuum indicator, wherein the vacuum indicator is designed to indicate a vacuum inside a connected vacuum container. Further the invention relates to a system for drainage of fluids or wound secretion, comprising a vacuum container according to the invention and a drainage line.
Drainage system with retention ring
In one general aspect, the present disclosure provides a drainage system. The drainage system may include a container having an interior and a mouth, the mouth having an outer surface and an opening. A frangible seal may cover the opening. A cap may be secured to the mouth, and the cap may be in fluid communication with a drainage line. The cap may have an inner surface for engaging with the outer surface of the mouth. The drainage system may further include a retention ring with a collar having an inner surface configured to engage an outer surface of the cap, where the retention ring includes a bead for at least partially concentrating a restriction force provided by the retention ring on an adjacent area of the outer surface of the cap.
PORTABLE EVACUATION SYSTEM
A portable evacuation system includes a pressure vessel configured to retain a vacuum chamber. The pressure vessel includes a valve port configured to receive a valve. The portable evacuation system also includes a catheter having an inlet side and an outlet side. The inlet side is configured to interface with the vacuum chamber via the valve port. The portable evacuation system also includes a balloon disposed about an outer surface of the catheter. The balloon is disposed proximate to the outlet side of the catheter.
