An automatic drainage device comprises a drainage container separated by a partition plate into a fluid storage cavity provided with a connecting pipe and a fluid discharge channel provided with a fluid discharge outlet. The partition plate is provided with a fluid drainage outlet that connects the fluid storage cavity to the fluid discharge channel. The device further comprises a movable gasket disposed below the partition plate for closing the fluid drainage outlet, and a control device comprising a remote control receiving module or a control device configured to monitor a liquid level in the fluid storage cavity, to move the movable gasket to open or close the fluid drainage outlet. The automatic drainage device remotely activates the control device by a remote control receiving module or by monitoring the status of the liquid level, to control the opening and closing of the fluid drainage outlet.

PORTABLE PUMP FOR NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY

A portable pump is provided for negative pressure wound therapy for drawing a vacuum from a wound site via a tube. The pump includes an inlet configured to attach the tube from the wound site; a canister in fluid communication with the inlet for collecting fluids drained from the wound site; and a manually-actuated pump mechanism for creating the vacuum. The pump mechanism includes a vacuum chamber in fluid communication with the canister; a piston disposed in the vacuum chamber; and a pump handle coupled to the piston to move the piston in the vacuum chamber between first and second positions to create the vacuum. The pump handle moving between a retracted position and an extended position. The piston is in the first position when said pump handle is in the retracted position and is in the second position when said pump handle is in the extended position.

The disposable fluid circuit includes a spinning membrane separator, first and second syringes, and a flow control cassette. The reusable hardware includes a drive coupled to the spinning membrane separator, first and second syringe pumps, the first and second syringes coupled to the first and second syringe pumps respectively, and a controller. The system also includes a syringe pump for filling low-volume containers, which syringe pump may be one of the first and second syringe pumps, or may be a third syringe pump. The syringe pump for filling low-volume containers may include a filtered vacuum/pressure source and a position detector.

NEGATIVE-PRESSURE SOURCE WITH SERVICE TIMER

An apparatus for providing negative-pressure therapy may comprise a negative-pressure chamber and a pneumatically-actuated service timer, which can be used to indicate an expiration or other service condition of the apparatus. The apparatus may further comprise an actuator operable to engage a timer fluid with a migration medium. The timer fluid and the migration medium may be selected so that migration time through the migration medium corresponds to an expiration condition of the apparatus. The timer may also provide indicia of migration progress or termination.

MANUALLY OPERATED NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND TREATMENT APPARATUS COUPLED WITH SMART FEEDBACK SYSTEM
20220184295 · 2022-06-16 ·

The present invention provides a manually operated negative pressure wound treatment (NPWT) apparatus for suction of bodily fluids using the negative pressure generated by means of manual pressing. The NPWT apparatus is made of two parts: [1] top functional part; and [2] bottom collector part. The top functional part is made of a pressing mechanism attached to a bellow enclosed within an enclosure. The bellow is connected to the wound dressing using an external medical tube through a one-way check valve, wherein the negative pressure gets created within the bellows when compressed by manually pressing the mechanism. The negative pressure of the bellows sucks the bodily fluid from the wound, which promotes a new blood supply, cleaning infection, and accelerates healing dramatically. The bottom collector part is attached with the bellow through the internal one-way valve, wherein the collector collects the fluid from the bellow when the piston is pressed in the next cycle. Pressure levels and wound conditions are measured and transmitted to the user's smart device, in order to enhance treatment monitoring and efficacy.
