A refrigerator comprises a case defining a storage compartment, and at least one door assembly. Each door assembly comprises: a door, arranged in front of the case and used for opening or closing the storage compartment; and at least one translation hinge. Each translation hinge has two swing arms, and two ends of each swing arm directly or indirectly mounted rotatably on the door and the case relative to the door and the case, so that each translation hinge and the door and the case form a parallelogram-shaped mechanism, allowing the door to translate to open or close the storage compartment.

Modular individually operable vehicle door

A vehicle door system includes doors with a door module attached to a hinge module, which is attached to the vehicle body. The door module includes a latch mechanism configured to engage a striker pin of the vehicle body, with a pawl that pivots to accommodate a misalignment with the striker pin during a door closing operation, with the latch mechanism shifting following engagement with the striker pin. A door check mechanism includes a permanent magnet and a steel plate. Activation of the permanent magnet shifts the steel plate from a closed position to an open position permitting the hinge module to move from a locked position. An interface between doors includes a primary and secondary seal each having a constant cross section, with filler pieces disposed between the door and the secondary seal along a portion of the interface.

A vehicle door device includes a first link mechanism formed of first and second link arms having a first rotary coupling point with respect to a vehicle body and a second rotary coupling point with respect to a door of a vehicle, and a second link mechanism formed of the first and second link arms provided independently of the first and second link arms forming the first link mechanism. First and second doors respectively supported by the first and second link mechanisms open and close independently in different directions based on operations of the first and second link mechanisms. At least one of the first and second link arms forming the first link mechanism and the first and second link arms forming the second link mechanism is provided with a coupling length variable mechanism that allows a coupling length between the first and second rotary coupling points to vary.

A vehicle door system has a door structure movable relative to a vehicle body between closed and open positions. The door structure is connected to the vehicle body via first and second arms arranged at a lower end of the door structure. The first arm includes a first inner end pivotably connected to the vehicle body and a first outer end pivotably connected to the door structure. The second arm includes a second inner end pivotably connected to the vehicle body and a second outer end pivotably connected to the door structure. The first arm has an inner arm section and an outer arm section pivotably connected to each other via an intermediate pivot point. The inner arm section and the outer arm section are pivotably displaceable relative to each other via the intermediate pivot point upon displacement of the door structure between the closed and open positions.
