Hinge assembly for an insulated door

The hinge assembly comprises a housing for mounting on a cabinet and a post member for mounting on a door and for rotation relative to the housing. A first electrical contact is mounted within the housing for connection to a source of electrical power in the cabinet and a second electrical contact is disposed in the post in electrical contact with the first contact for connection to an electrical appliance in the door. In one embodiment, the electrical contacts rotate relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing while in other embodiments; the electrical contacts remain stationary relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing.

SHOWER DOOR ASSEMBLIES

A shower door hinge assembly includes a clamp, a member, a base, a spacer, and a pin. The clamp is configured to receive a portion of a shower door. The member is coupled to the clamp, and comprises a circumferential slot. The base is configured to be coupled to a fixed structure, and defines a hole. The spacer is coupled to the base. The member is rotatably coupled to the spacer. The pin includes a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be received in the hole of the base, and the second end is configured to be received in the circumferential slot. The pin and the circumferential slot are cooperatively configured to define an end point of rotation for the shower door.

A door assembly with improved sealing between the door and door frame. The door assembly may include a door frame having a first side section and a sill section, a door including a first edge surface and a second edge surface and a hinge having a first portion connected to the first side section and a second portion connected to the first edge surface to pivotably connect the door to the door frame such that the door is pivotable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the hinge moves the second edge surface vertically downward toward the sill section only during the last 50 degrees of pivotal movement of the door from the open position to the closed position.

ANGLE-ADJUSTABLE POSITIONING AND SELF-CLOSING HINGE FOR HIGHLY SEALED DOOR

Provided is an angle-adjustable positioning and self-closing hinge for a highly sealed door, comprising a hinge part, a fixing base, a fixing bar, a threaded sleeve, a threaded ring, a plug, and an adjustment socket; the hinge part is provided with a bushing and a leaf; the fixing base is provided with a bushing; the fixing bar has a screw; a threaded sleeve is fastened inside the bushing, the plug is fastened inside the bushing, and the threaded sleeve and plug are spaced apart; between the threaded sleeve and plug in the two bushings are disposed the fixing bar, the two magnets, two springs, and the adjustment base; the screw of the fixing bar is screwed to the threaded sleeve.

Ligature Resistant Flexible Swinging Door

A ligature resistant flexible swinging door assembly includes a frame mount, a flexible door panel, and a pivot assembly operably connecting the door panel to the frame mount such that the door panel is pivotable in two opposite directions from a closed position to first and second opened positions. The door panel is formed from a flexible polymeric material having a modulus of elasticity between 250 and 470 ksi (1.79 and 3.24 GPa), a flexural yield strength between 5220 and 15000 psi (36 and 103 MPa), a flexural modulus between 141 and 450 ksi (0.971 to 3.10 GPa) and a flexural strain at yield between 7.00% and 7.20%. The door panel has a width of between 26 and 42 inches (66.0-106.7 cm) and a thickness of between 0.040 and 0.315 inches (1.0-8.0 mm).

Shower door assemblies

A shower door hinge assembly includes a guide member including a generally cylindrical body, the body defining a plurality of diametrically opposed circumferential slots. The shower door hinge assembly further includes a clamp configured to receive a portion of a shower door, the clamp defining a recess configured to receive a first side of the guide member. The shower door hinge assembly further includes a base defining a plurality of openings and a spacer comprising a generally cylindrical body defining a plurality of through holes at an outer periphery thereof, a first side of the spacer configured to be rotatively received in a corresponding recess in a second side of the guide member. The shower door hinge assembly further includes a plurality of pins configured to be received in the plurality of openings of the base, extend through the plurality of through holes of the spacer, and engage a portion of the plurality of circumferential slots.

Door closing mechanism

A camming member for a door may have a camming surface which lifts the door as the door is traversed from an opened position to a closed position. The lifting movement of the door caused by the camming member facilitates one or more latches used to reinforce a periphery of the door to be engaged without further user intervention.

Hinge arrangement with sag compensation

A hinge arrangement includes a first hinge plate assembly including a pivot housing movable about a pivot axis and including a threaded adjustment pin transverse to the pivot axis away from the housing. A second hinge plate assembly includes an adjustment housing, the adjustment housing including a threaded portion. The threaded adjustment pin is threaded into the adjustment housing to connect the first hinge plate assembly to the second hinge plate assembly. Relative rotation between the threaded adjustment pin and the threaded portion of the adjustment housing causes the second hinge plate assembly to move along a length of the threaded adjustment pin, altering a spacing between a mount plate portion of the first hinge plate assembly and a mount plate portion of the second hinge plate assembly. A connection between the pivot housing and the first hinge plate assembly may include a torsional and/or gravity closing bias.

Hinge assembly for an insulated glass door

The hinge assembly comprises a housing for mounting on a cabinet and a post member for mounting on a door and for rotation relative to the housing. A first electrical contact is mounted within the housing for connection to a source of electrical power in the cabinet and a second electrical contact is disposed in the post in electrical contact with the first contact for connection to an electrical appliance in the door. In one embodiment, the electrical contacts rotate relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing while in other embodiments; the electrical contacts remain stationary relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing.
