DOOR OPERATOR HOLD-OPEN ARMATURE ASSEMBLY
An exemplary armature assembly is configured for use with a door closer comprising a pinion, and generally includes a first arm configured for rotational coupling with the pinion, a second arm pivotably coupled to the first arm at a pivot joint, and a hold-open mechanism. The hold-open mechanism generally includes a clutch having a decoupling and a coupling state, and an electromechanical driver operable to transition the clutch between the coupling state and the decoupling state. With the clutch in the decoupling state, a first torque is operable to cause relative pivoting of the arms. With the clutch in the coupling state, the first torque is inoperable to cause relative pivoting of the arms, and a second torque greater than the first torque is operable to cause relative pivoting of the arms.
Hinged door leaves for wardrobes, walk-in closets and pieces of furniture in general, provided with magnetic damping and return devices
A device for moving folding door leaves that open completely and are adapted for wardrobes or pieces of furniture in general include a single door leaf or one pair of door leaves hinged to each other, configured to be rotated from a completely closed configuration to a completely open configuration. The door leaves include a guiding device, the action of which is damped during the opening and closing movement by magnetic devices and damping systems that counteract their attraction force.
Vehicle Door Opening and Closing Apparatus
A vehicle includes a body having a door frame defining a door aperture, a vehicle door, a rail mounted on the body, a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door and configured to move along the rail and allow the vehicle door to open and close in a sliding mode and a swing mode, a center rail extending from an edge of the door aperture, a center roller unit including rollers configured to be guided along the center rail, a roller bracket having the rollers mounted thereon, a roller-side hinge element connected to the roller bracket, and a door-side hinge element rotatably connected to the roller-side hinge element by a hinge pin, a door-side docking unit releasably connecting the door-side hinge element to the vehicle door, and a frame-side docking unit releasably connecting the roller-side hinge element to the door frame.
MECHANISM FOR OPENING AND CLOSING AN OVERHEAD DOOR INCLUDING ONE WAY BEARING
An overhead door opener for opening and closing an overhead door is disclosed.
A motor is coupled to a shaft and is configured to rotate the shaft to raise and lower the overhead door. The shaft is coupled to the overhead door. The overhead door opener also includes a one-way bearing coupling the motor to the shaft, wherein the one-way bearing is configured to transmit torque from the motor to the shaft, and not to transmit torque from the shaft to the motor.
Vehicle Door Opening and Closing Apparatus
A vehicle includes a vehicle body having a door frame defining a door aperture, a vehicle door, a rail mounted on the vehicle body, a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door and configured to move along the rail and allow the vehicle door to open and close in a sliding mode and a swing mode, a center rail extending from an edge of the door aperture, and a center roller unit including rollers configured to be guided along the center rail, a roller bracket having the rollers mounted thereon, a roller-side hinge element connected to the roller bracket, and a door-side hinge element rotatably connected to the roller-side hinge element, wherein the roller-side hinge element and the door-side hinge element are releasably connected.
Clutch mechanism between leadscrew and electric motor
A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.
SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR A FLAP HOLDER
The invention relates to a spring assembly for driving a flap holder for a flap of an item of furniture, wherein the spring assembly has a first and a second holder, wherein the holders are pretensioned against one another by means of at least one spring, and wherein each holder comprises at least one spring support. Good lateral guiding of the springs disposed in such a spring assembly can be achieved in that the holders are pretensioned against one another by at least two springs disposed in series with one another, and that a coupling is disposed between the springs and transmits the force between the springs disposed in series with one another and comprises at least two spring guides laterally guiding the springs at least in sections.
ELECTROMAGNETIC CLUTCH AND OPENING AND CLOSING BODY DRIVE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
An electromagnetic clutch includes: a rotation shaft that transmits a drive torque; a first rotation body that rotates integrally with the rotation shaft by being supported on the rotation shaft in a non-relatively rotatable manner; a second rotation body that is supported on the rotation shaft in a relatively rotatable manner in a position facing the first rotation body in an axial direction; an electromagnet that brings the first and second rotation bodies into pressure contact to connect the first and second rotation bodies in a manner capable of transmitting a torque by moving one of the first and second rotation bodies as an armature in an axial direction based on an electromagnetic attraction force generated by energization; and a gear portion that is provided on an outer periphery of at least one of the first rotation body or the second rotation body.
Sliding barrier tracking system
Disclosed herein is a sliding door system including a motor, a driveshaft coupled to the motor, and a coupling mechanism fastened to the sliding door. The coupling mechanism is configured to convert rotation of the driveshaft into linear motion of the sliding door, such that movement of the coupling mechanism is directly correlated to movement of the sliding door. The sliding door system also includes a rotary encoder, a belt mechanically coupled to the coupling mechanism. The belt, as moved by the coupling mechanism, is configured to turn the rotary encoder as the sliding door moves, such that movement of the rotary encoder is directly correlated to movement of the sliding door and not directly correlated to movement of the motor and driveshaft.
Closure panel extension mechanism with multiple springs
An extension mechanism for coupling with a closure panel to assist in opening and closing of the closure panel of a vehicle between a fully closed position and a fully open position of the closure panel, the extension mechanism including: an inner tube having an outer surface; an outer tube having an inner surface and overlapping the inner tube for at least a portion of the outer surface along an extension axis, such that the inner surface and the outer surface are adjacent to one another when overlapped; a first spring positioned along the extension axis in an interior of the outer tube; a second spring positioned along the extension axis in an interior of the inner tube; a seal positioned between the inner surface and the outer surface; and a stopper to engage the first spring at one end and engage the second spring at an opposite end such that the first spring and the second spring are in series with one another along the extension axis; wherein the one end and the opposite end are spaced apart from one another such that the seal is positioned between the one and opposite end.
