DOOR MANAGEMENT
A door management system on an aircraft includes a fuselage extending along a longitudinal axis in a fore-aft direction parallel to forward flight, an opening in a sidewall of the fuselage, a door mounted on the sidewall to slide in the fore-aft direction between a closed position covering the opening and an open position revealing the opening, a cable attached to the fuselage and the door and a speed governor operatively coupled to the cable to limit a velocity of the door as it moves between the open position and the closed position.
Hinge for furniture or domestic appliances
The disclosure relates to a hinge for furniture or domestic appliances, comprising a lateral part on which a hinge part is pivotally mounted via two levers. A damping device is provided having a movable damping element which is mounted in a movable manner between guide elements for damping purposes and which can be moved via a first actuation element during a closing movement of the hinge before reaching the closed position. A second actuation element is provided which pushes the damping element during an opening movement of the hinge before reaching the maximum opening position for damping an opening process. In this manner, the hinge provides an opening as well as a closing damping function.
Hinge and electronic device
A hinge and an electronic device are provided according to the present application. The hinge includes a spindle, a spindle sleeve arranged with respect to the spindle, and a first material with a variable state arranged between the spindle and the spindle sleeve, and a torsion of the spindle is variable according to the variable state of the first material. The electronic device includes the hinge, a first body and a second body; and the first body and the second body are rotatably connected via the hinge.
Snubber apparatus, E.G., for excavation bucket
A snubber apparatus comprises a casing defining an inner cavity. A shaft passes through the inner cavity and rotates about its longitudinal axis. The shaft has one or two ends laterally projecting out of the casing and being connected to a moving part of a tool to dampen given motions thereof. A wiper arm is on the shaft so as to rotate therewith the shaft, with a free end in close proximity to the surface portions of the inner cavity. The free end has an arcuate contour complementarily corresponding to a circumferential surface portion. A dam extends from the circumferential surface portion into close proximity to the wiper arm, to divide the inner cavity in two chambers, with movements of the wiper arm changing the volume of the chambers. A hydraulic circuit controls a flow of fluid between chambers to oppose a force to rotation of the shaft.
DOOR MOUNTING SYSTEM
A pocket door mounting system includes a dampener assembly, an actuator arm, a stop member and a door hanger. The dampener assembly includes a housing having a first end having an opening, a second end, a roller mechanism pivotally connected to the second end, and a dampener mechanism. The damper mechanism has a trigger for actuating the dampener mechanism. The actuator arm has a first end and a second end. The door hanger has a bracket having an opening. A pin extends through the opening in the dampener assembly and the opening in the door hanger to connect the dampener assembly to the door hanger.
Device for assisting door opening
A device for assisting the opening and closing of a door in a structure. The device may comprise: a door shaft configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis thereof in both a first direction and in a second opposite direction, and configured to be mounted to the structure to form a hinge about which the door may rotate in the both the first and second directions relative to the structure; a first actuator linked to the door shaft and configured to control a speed of rotation of the door shaft in the first direction; and a second actuator linked to the door shaft and configured to drive rotation of the door shaft in the second direction. The second actuator is an electromechanical actuator.
Opening apparatus for a tailgate of a motor vehicle
A tailgate of a motor vehicle has an opening apparatus configured to avoid overshooting during opening of the tailgate. The opening apparatus is connected to a silicone damper to bring about a damping action in the opening direction and a freewheeling action in the closing direction. Additionally, the opening apparatus is configured so that closing of the tailgate and lock actuation are not impeded.
Slow Open Hinge Assembly
A slow open hinge assembly for an associated appliance door includes an arm and a channel including a first end that is pivotally connected to the arm at a first location for pivoting about a first pivot axis. A slide link includes an inner end that is pivotally connected to the arm at a second location for pivoting about a second pivot axis that is offset from the first pivot axis. A fluid damped spring rod assembly includes a cylinder body supported on the channel and includes a spring-biased piston rod assembly engaged with the slide link. A control spring assembly can be connected to the channel and includes a reciprocally movable spring rod assembly including a follower, wherein the follower is engaged with a cam profile defined by a contoured edge of the arm for some but not all angular positions of the channel relative to the arm.
VARIABLE SHOCK-ABSORBING DAMPER FOR FURNITURE HINGE, WITH BUILT-IN PRESSURE CONTROL MEANS
A shock-absorbing damper for absorbing the impact force generated during the opening/closing of a furniture door, the damper including: a load pin in a housing to move back and forth during the opening/closing of the furniture door; a main valve coupled to the load pin to form a first flow path; a check valve coupled to a guide bar of the main valve in a manner to form a second flow path; a guider coupled to the main valve to guide the fluid flow; and a pressure adjuster interposed between the main valve and the check valve to vary the first flow path. The pressure adjuster and the guider are provided in the shock-absorbing damper to vary a flow path corresponding to an opening/closing load of the furniture door, thereby opening/closing the furniture door at a set speed regardless of the size or weight.
