Hinges
A hinge is provided with two elements pivotally connected together for relative rotational movement about a hinge axis. The hinge has a spring formed of bent wire. The spring is mounted on one of the elements and a mechanism causes it to apply a biassing force between the two elements over at least part of their relative rotational movement. The biassing force is transmitted via a finger on the spring. A spreader is arranged to fit over the finger for engagement with the other element. The spreader extends continuously over the finger and engages substantially the whole of the finger.
PIVOT HINGE
A pivot hinge includes a spring housing with a central tube, a spring assembly, an upper mounting plate, and a lower mounting plate. The bottom end includes a knurled outer surface. A stop cam is positioned about the knurled outer surface and has an inner surface that conform to the knurled outer surface so that it may be positioned in a plurality of rotatable positions relative to the central tube. The stop cam also has an exterior surface which includes a detent. The different rotational positions of the stop cam upon the knurled outer surface changes the relative position of the detent in relationship to the central tube. A cam follower assembly is coupled to the lower mounting plate and has a cam follower plate with a cam follower that rides upon the stop cam and engages the detent recess to hold the door in an open position.
Roller unit
A roller unit to which a cable end of a cable pulled by a door actuator is attached moves with a slide door along a guide rail on a vehicle body, and includes: a coupling part coupled to the slide door; a guide roller supported by the coupling part and moving along the guide rail; a guide pin fixed to the coupling part and inserted into the cable end; and a fastener fastening the cable end to the guide pin. A recess is formed toward an end of the guide pin. An external diameter of the end of the guide pin is smaller than an internal diameter of the shaft hole of the cable end. The fastener includes a supporting part supporting the cable end and a protrusion part engaged with the recess.
AXIAL CLUTCH MECHANISM
An exemplary trim assembly comprises an escutcheon, a drive spindle, a lock mechanism, a cam mechanism, and a driver. The drive spindle is mounted to the escutcheon for rotation about a longitudinal axis. The lock mechanism includes a lock gear movably mounted in the escutcheon. The cam mechanism includes a first cam defined by the escutcheon and a second cam defined by the lock gear. The driver is operable to rotate the lock gear between a first rotational position and a second rotational position. The cam mechanism is configured to longitudinally drive the lock gear from a first longitudinal position to a second longitudinal position as the lock gear rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position. Movement of the lock gear between the first longitudinal position and the second longitudinal position transitions the lock mechanism between a locked state and an unlocked state.
Door device
Disclosed is a door device that can ensure necessary catch function and/or assist function and give a neat impression is provided. The hinge includes a first part to be attached to a main body and a second part to be attached to a door. The door device includes a base, an arm rotatably supported on the base and a spring for applying torque to the arm in the closing direction and/or in the opening direction thereof. The base of the door device is attached to the first part of the hinge.
ASSEMBLY FOR GUIDING AT LEAST ONE MOVABLE FURNITURE PART RELATIVE TO A FURNITURE BODY
An assembly for guiding a movable furniture part relative to a furniture carcass includes a guide system which is to be fastened to the furniture carcass; a support on which the movable furniture part is or can be mounted, in particular in a pivotable and/or articulated manner, and by which the movable furniture part can be moved relative to the guide system; and a drive device by which the support can be moved relative to the guide system and which has a cable, with a coupling device being positioned on the movable furniture part and/or the support. The coupling device can be automatically coupled to the cable of the drive device during a movement of the support relative to the guide system.
DOCK DOOR ASSEMBLY
A dock door assembly and a dock door assembly kit are provided for use in a dock door opening for installation in a warehouse. The dock door assembly comprises a pair of vertical tracks, with each vertical track configured to be attached to a wall along opposing lateral sides of the dock door opening. The dock door assembly also comprises a multiple, horizontal section door characterized by a vertical height when closed and mounted on the pair of vertical tracks. The dock door assembly further comprises a spring shaft assembly and a pair of headplates with each headplate having a U-shaped opening to receive each end of a torsion shaft. Further, the dock door assembly may comprise a pair of door cables and a pair of corner cable attachments connecting each door cable to the spring shaft assembly.
Sectional lifting door system
The present invention relates to a sectional lifting door system. When the system is in normal operation, a door operator drives a cable drum to wind or unwind a cable for lifting or lowering slats. During a process of lowering the slats, if the slats is stopped or slowed unexpectedly (e.g. the slats hit an obstacle below), the door operator is disconnected from a shaft automatically. At this time, even if the door operator is still activated, the shaft does not rotate, the cable drum does not unwind the cable so that a certain tension force can be maintained on the cable and that the cable is prevented from loosening from the drum, thereby preventing the slats from falling off. Also, it can avoid the situation that the weight of the slats is completely applied to the obstacle because the cable drum continuously unwinds the cable.
Door lock with reinforced fireproof function
A door lock with a reinforced fireproof effect includes a lock body mounted on a door and inner and outer operating units mounted to two sides of the door, respectively. The lock body includes inner and outer chassis made of ferrous material or stainless steel having a melting point higher than 1300° C. Inner and outer fixing members coupled with the inner and outer chassis are also made of ferrous material or stainless steel. Thus, these components of the door lock are less likely to melt during a fire, reducing the spreading speed of the fire.
EMERGENCY DOOR CLOSING DEVICE
An emergency door closing device that can be installed upon existing doors and hinges to automatically close doors in the response to smoke and fire. The improvements incorporated therein include a hinge cam pivot member that attaches to an existing hinge member of a door and produces a moment force about the existing hinge member allowing a reduced force necessary to pivot the door into a closed position. Further, a novel spring, cam, and lever system is incorporated to activate the moment force to close the door.
