ACTUATING ARM DRIVE
An actuating arm drive for a pivotably mounted actuating arm including a pivotably mounted main lever, a force accumulator for exerting a force for supporting the opening and/or closing movement of the actuating arm drive on the main lever at a force introduction point, and a setting device for setting the force introduction point on the main lever. The force is introduced to the main lever at the force introduction point via a force introduction element which is loaded by the force accumulator via levers, and the setting device is designed to move the force introduction element along a bearing contour formed on the main lever. In each pivoting position of the main lever between the open and closed position of the actuating arm drive, and in each setting of the setting device, the loaded force introduction element is forced along the bearing contour in the same direction.
EMERGENCY DOOR CLOSING DEVICE
An emergency door closing device that can be installed upon existing doors and hinges to automatically close doors in the response to smoke and fire. The improvements incorporated therein include a hinge cam pivot member that attaches to an existing hinge member of a door and produces a moment force about the existing hinge member allowing a reduced force necessary to pivot the door into a closed position. Further, a novel spring, cam, and lever system is incorporated to activate the moment force to close the door.
Apparatus for providing constant torque output from a door closer or operator
A door closer or operator includes a pivoting pinion on the door closer housing for transmitting door motion, and a cam connected thereto. A connecting member extends along a spring and engages the peripheral edge of the cam. Rotation of the cam causes a change in length of the portion of the connecting member between the position tangent to the cam peripheral edge and the spring second end to expand or compress the spring, resulting in a force transmitted along a longitudinal axis of the connecting member as a result of spring deflection. The cam peripheral edge has a profile with a varying radial distance between the cam axis and the connecting member at the position tangent to the cam peripheral edge such that the radial distance is changed as the spring expands or compresses to maintain a desired constant torque about the axis of the cam and pinion.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a door, and a door opening device. The door opening device includes a motor and a pushing member configured to be withdrawn out by the motor to open the door. The pushing member includes a first rack configured to be driven by the motor and to push one of the cabinet or the door, and a second rack configured to be driven by the motor and slidably coupled to the first rack in which the second rack at least partially overlaps with the first rack. The first rack is configured to move relative to the second rack in a first direction to open the door to a first angle, and to move together with the second rack in the first direction to move the door to a second angle greater than the first angle.
Automatic Crankshaft Homing Device Having Speed Adjusting Function
The present invention discloses a spindle with speed adjustment and automatic return device, included set up one resilient component, one cylinder, also one spindle and one cam of the same spindle on a base, between the cam and the resilient component set up one slider component, and one first rack set up on the slider component, both side of the cylinder set up with one cylinder rod and one flow adjustment valve, and one second rack set up on the cylinder rod, one gear set meshed in between the first rack and the second rack; the cam can follow spindle rotation and drive slider component move to the resilient component, to bring the first rack through gear set to drive the cylinder rod by the second rack, to make the cylinder through flow adjustment valve to suck the medium.
Hinge assemblies
A hinge assembly includes a toggle type hinge mechanism (10) with a linear damper (13) arranged with its longitudinal axis parallel to the axis of movement of the hinge mechanism. First and second wings (19, 30) operate the damper. First and second striker plates and an arm assembly (20, 32, 55) activate the first and second wings in response to movement of the hinge mechanism.
Operating mechanism for rail car door
An operating mechanism for plug-type rail car doors includes first and second links connected to rotatable first and second support bars. The links include respective elongated slots partially overlapping with one another, wherein each slot receives a respective cam. The cams are rotatable together about a rotational axis which is eccentrically arranged relative to both cams. An actuating lever is connected to the cams to enable an operator to rotate the cams about the rotational axis. The actuating lever is movable such that the first and second links are retracted relative to one another to simultaneously rotate the first and second support bars, and such that the first and second links are extended relative to one another to simultaneously counter-rotate the first and second support bars. A gear train may be provided between the actuating lever and the cams to reduce the necessary manual operating torque.
Gear assembly with spiral gears
A gear assembly comprises a housing, a first gear shaft in the housing, a first spiral gear coupled to the first gear shaft in the housing, a second gear shaft in the housing, a second spiral gear coupled to the second gear shaft in the housing, and a fluid connection between a first chamber and a second chamber. The first spiral gear and the second spiral gear couple to define the first chamber and the second chamber within the housing.
