In a method for operating a motor-actuatable tailgate of a motor vehicle, the motor of which can be activated or deactivated controlledly by actuation of an actuating element of an operating element, a control unit ascertains whether the actuating element is actuated for a predetermined period of time or by a predetermined actuation sequence and at the same time a manual closing movement of the tailgate is effected. If so, a holding mode is activated on reaching the tailgate position at which the actuating element is no longer actuated, wherein the motor is short-circuited in the holding mode.

Hood assembly for a work vehicle

A hood assembly for a work vehicle includes a hood and a hood pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the hood to a chassis of the work vehicle. The hood pivot joint is configured to enable the hood to rotate between an open position and a closed position. The hood assembly also includes a lift mechanism having a linkage assembly pivotally coupled to the hood and configured to pivotally couple to the chassis of the work vehicle. In addition, the lift mechanism includes a linear actuator coupled to the linkage assembly. The linear actuator is configured to drive the linkage assembly to rotate the hood between the open and closed positions.

Testing system for swing door-based entrance system

An entrance system (1) comprising a swing door member (10) having a door leaf (12), and an automatic door operator (30) is provided. The automatic door operator (30) has a motor (34) capable of causing movement of the door member (10), a controller (31) for controlling operation of the motor (34), and the automatic door operator (30) being operable in a testing mode (60) and an operational mode, wherein the controller (31) is configured, in the testing mode (60), to automatically determine at least one test parameter; and causing an action in response to the determined test parameter.

Drivetrain

A drivetrain for the motorized movement of a motor vehicle closure including at least one friction lock mechanism to provide a friction torque, the friction lock mechanism being part of a coupling mechanism of the drivetrain for coupling two drive components of the drivetrain for conjoint rotation, including a coupling piece on the motor side to a drive component on the motor side and via a coupling piece remote from the motor to a drive component remote from the motor, and including multiple friction lock elements which can be rotated about a drive axis, are situated coaxially to one another and form the friction lock mechanism, a middle one of the friction lock elements being concentric to one another and in frictional engagement with two others of the friction lock elements.
