VEHICLE DOOR LOCK, ESPECIALLY TAILGATE LOCK
The subject matter of the present invention is a motor vehicle door lock, in particular tailgate lock, which is provided with a locking mechanism (1, 2) essentially consisting of a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Furthermore, as required, an unlocking/opening actuator (6) as well as a locking actuator (7) may be realised. In addition at least one sensor (12, 13) assigned to the locking actuator (7) is provided. According to the invention the sensor (12, 13) is arranged at a distance from a locking mechanism plane protected in the lock interior, and is impacted by means of an actuating element (14) following the locking actuator (7).
Tailgate support cable assembly with touch sensor activation feature
A tailgate support cable assembly includes a cable and a retainer portion attached to an end of the cable. The retainer portion rotatably attaches the end of the cable assembly to a vehicle tailgate. The retainer portion includes a tailgate retention portion, an object contact portion extending from the tailgate retention portion, and a sensor engagement portion extending from the object contact portion. The retainer portion is structured to rotate with respect to the tailgate responsive to contact between the object contact portion and a foreign object positioned in a seam between the tailgate and another portion of the vehicle, during a closing movement of the tailgate. Rotation of the retainer portion brings the sensor engagement portion into contact with (and activates) a touch sensor mounted on the tailgate. Activation of the touch sensor causes a stoppage and/or reversal of tailgate movement, thereby preventing pinching of the foreign object.
DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE
An opening and closing load device includes a door configured to be openable and closable with respect to an opening in a side of a housing, the housing including a perimeter wall surrounding the opening, a seal member provided on a perimeter of the door or the perimeter wall and configured to seal the opening when the door is closed to sandwich the seal member between the door and the perimeter wall, and a controller configured to adjust an attraction force between the door and the perimeter wall based on a distance between the door and the perimeter wall.
Automated Cover
The disclosure describes a novel collection bin for a waste collection vehicle. The collection bin includes an automated cover system.
Corner bracket
The disclosure relates to a corner bracket (14, 16) for a vertical moving door (2), the corner bracket (14, 16) comprising: a base plate (32) configured to be attached to the door (2); and a guide path (34) for a lift cable (4, 6) arranged in the base plate (32). A switch (28) is arranged in the base plate (32) and configured to be actuated by the lift cable (4, 6) in the event of a breakage of the lift cable (4, 6). The disclosure further relates to a method, performed by a control device (200), for stopping a vertical moving door (2) of a vertical moving door system (100), the vertical moving door system (100).
AUTOMATIC WINDOW SYNCHRONIZATION SYSTEM
A system for automatically synchronizing window openings and closings of multiple windows of a vehicle. The system includes a first actuator and a second actuator configured to move a first window and a second window to respective closed positions. The system includes a window control unit configured to receive, at a first time, an indication to close the first window at a first closing rate. The window control unit is configured to receive, at a second time, an indication to close the second window at a second closing rate. The window control unit is configured to adjust at least one of the first closing rate or the second closing rate, from a standard rate to an adjusted rate, when the first time and the second time are within a threshold time, such that the first window and the second window achieve their respective closed positions simultaneously.
Electric latch retraction with power interrupt
An exemplary access control device includes a locking member having a locked position and an unlocked position; an electronic actuator operably connected with the locking member; a switch connected between the electronic actuator and a power supply, the switch having a closed state in which the electronic actuator is connected to the power supply and is operable to maintain the locking member in the unlocked position, the switch having an open state in which the electronic actuator is disconnected from the power supply; and a manual actuator operable to transition the switch between the open state and the closed state.
Opto-electronic locking assembly for electronic gaming machines
An electronic gaming machine including a cabinet defining an interior space. The electronic gaming machine also includes a door releasably fastened to the cabinet operable to move between a locked state preventing access to the interior space and an unlocked state permitting access to at least a portion of the interior space. A security housing comprising a locking assembly and an optical switch coupled to a processor. The locking assembly includes an actuator defining a channel. The optical switch comprises a transmitter and a receiver. When the door engages the locking assembly, the actuator is operable to move the channel to align with the transmitter and the receiver to form an optical path between the transmitter and the receiver through the channel and the optical switch is operable to communicate the locked state to at least one of the processor, the server computer, and the gaming system.
Non-contacting trailer hitch detector assembly
A trailer hitch detection system may include a sensor mounted in or over an opening defined through a wall of a trailer hitch receiver mounted to a motor vehicle, the sensor configured to be responsive to receipt of a trailer hitch assembly in the trailer hitch receiver to exhibit at least a first sensor characteristic, and to absence of the trailer hitch assembly in the trailer hitch receiver to exhibit at least a second sensor characteristic discernably different from the first sensor characteristic, and signal processing circuitry operatively coupled to the sensor and configured to produce at least one trailer hitch detection signal indicating receipt of the trailer assembly in the trailer hitch receiver in response to the first sensor characteristic and indicating absence of the trailer hitch assembly in the trailer hitch receiver in response to the second sensor characteristic.
