The automatic door operator (30) has a motor (34) capable of causing movement of the door member (10), a controller (31) for controlling operation of the motor (34), and the automatic door operator (30) being operable in a testing mode (60) and an operational mode, wherein the controller (31) is configured, in the testing mode (60), to automatically determine at least one test parameter; and causing an action in response to the determined test parameter.
Door control systems
The present disclosure includes systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for controlling a door. In various embodiments, exemplary systems may include a controller that may initialize and/or reset a limit count. A controller may initialize and/or reset a limit count in response to detection by a first position sensor of a first target. A controller may further initialize and/or reset a limit count by incrementing the limit count in response to a signal from a gear tooth sensor until a second position sensor detects a second target, whereupon the controller may store the limit count.
System for automatically closing a trunk lid of a vehicle
A system for automatically closing a trunk lid of a vehicle. The system comprises a trunk sensor system configured for detecting items in a luggage trunk, a trunk lid actuator for automatic closing of the trunk lid, and a control unit connected to the trunk sensor system and to the trunk lid actuator. The control unit is arranged for statistically determining, based on a set of observations of a trunk interior space by means of the trunk sensor system in connection with termination of a set of vehicle travels, one or more items or combination of items that are frequently remaining in the luggage trunk after completed travel, while preferably taking into account the one or more items stored in the luggage trunk during the travel, detecting opening of the trunk lid, detecting current items in the luggage trunk by means of the trunk sensor system, and controlling the trunk lid actuator for automatic closing of the trunk lid when the current items correspond to said one or more items or combination of items that are frequently remaining in the luggage trunk after a journey. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding computer-implemented method for automatically closing a trunk lid of a vehicle luggage trunk.
METHOD FOR ACTUATING AN ACCESS SYSTEM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD, AND MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING SUCH AN APPARATUS
A method for actuating an access system of a motor vehicle involves a camera arrangement detecting at least one foot of a person. An orientation of the foot is determined and based on the determined orientation, a line of sight of the person is then determined. When the line of sight is directed towards at least one tailgate and/or door of the motor vehicle, at least one tailgate and/or door is unlocked and/or automatically actuated to open by the access system. When, however, the line of sight is not directed towards at least one tailgate and/or door, tailgates and/or doors are locked and/or automatically actuated to close by the access system.
Method and System for Opening a Door of a Motor Vehicle
A method for opening a door of a motor vehicle is disclosed herein. The method includes scanning for a user terminal configured to open a door of the motor vehicle, and determining a trajectory of the user terminal when a distance between the user terminal and the motor vehicle is less than a minimum distance. The method further includes comparing the determined trajectory with at least one predefined trajectory, and opening the door of the motor vehicle when the determined trajectory matches a trajectory of the at least one predefined trajectory. The method is implemented by a motor vehicle including one or more interfaces configured to scan for the user terminal, and a controller in communication with the one or more interfaces.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A CLOSURE ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating a closure element arrangement of a motor vehicle, wherein the closure element arrangement has a closure element, a drive arrangement assigned to the closure element for adjusting the closure element in an adjustment range and a control arrangement for actuating the drive, wherein sensor values are detected by means of a sensor arrangement in a detection zone with respect to an operator action carried out by an operator outside the motor vehicle, wherein the detected sensor values are checked by means of the control arrangement in a check routine for the presence of a valid operator action, wherein the drive arrangement is caused by means of the control arrangement to adjust the closure element in an adjustment direction when a valid operator action is present, and wherein a closure element position of the closure element is determined by means of the control arrangement.
Door operating system
A door operating system including a control unit and at least one sensor device, the system configured to operate a door from a closed state into an opened state. The sensor device is configured to observe an observation area and provide image data to the control unit, which is configured to receive and process the observation image data. Processing the data includes detecting an individual inside the observation area, extracting pose information and/or viewing direction information corresponding to the individual, determining, based on the pose information and/or the viewing direction information, a probability value representing the probability that the individual intends to pass the door, and determining whether the probability value is higher than a probability threshold value, wherein the door operating system operates the door from a closed state in an opened state if the control unit determines that the probability value is higher than a probability threshold value.
Controlling vehicles in response to outriggers
Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for controlling vehicles in response to outriggers are provided. In some examples, images captured using image sensors from an environment of a first vehicle may be obtained. The images may be analyzed to detect a second vehicle. The images may be analyzed to determine that the second vehicle is connected to an outrigger. The images may be analyzed to determine a state of the outrigger. The first vehicle may be caused to initiate an action responding to the second vehicle based on the determined state of the outrigger. For example, in response to a first determined state of the outrigger, the first vehicle may be caused to initiate the action responding to the second vehicle, and in response to a second determined state of the outrigger, causing the first vehicle to initiate the action may be avoided.
DOOR CONTROLLER, VEHICLE, DOOR SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM WITH PROGRAM RECORDED THEREIN
A door controller including an electronic control unit that controls opening and closing of a door based on imaging-data is provided. The electronic control unit is configured to recognize a user region including a user in a frame-image included in the imaging-data; extract an overlapping portion between the user region and an intrusion determination region adjacent to the openable and closable door; when a degree of overlapping of the overlapping portion relative to the intrusion determination region becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined degree, calculate a depth difference between the intrusion determination region and the overlapping portion in the frame-image; and when the depth difference is equal to or larger than a threshold value, determine that the user has intruded into the intrusion determination region.
