Vehicle control device and method of operating an opening and closing body
A vehicle control device includes image capturing units, control equipment that extracts at least one living body from image information captured by the image capturing units and performs processing, and a door operating system capable of unlocking the doors of a vehicle and executing an opening operation for the doors. When a user of the vehicle is included among a plurality of the extracted living bodies and it is estimated that a predetermined type of living body is in contact with the user, the control equipment causes the doors to be operated in a first mode. When the user is included among the plurality of the extracted living bodies and it is estimated that the predetermined type of living body is not in contact with the user, the control equipment causes the doors to be operated in a second mode that differs from the first mode.
Trunk Control Method and Apparatus, and Storage Medium
The present disclosure relates to a trunk control method and apparatus, a vehicle, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes acquiring sensing data of a rear area of a vehicle; detecting a target object in the rear area of the vehicle according to the sensing data; and controlling a trunk of the vehicle to close in response to the trunk being in an open state and not detecting the target object.
Car door monitoring system and car door monitoring method
Even in a case where an external camera image-captures a door of a car, with high precision, it can be set to be determined whether or not a foreign substance inserted into the door is present. A monitoring apparatus acquires a camera image that results from a camera image-capturing the vicinity of a door of a car using an external camera, from a camera. A processor of the monitoring apparatus detects the door from the camera image, sets a determination area based on a position of the detected door, acquires an image of the determination area from the camera image, determines whether or not a foreign substance inserted into the door is present, based on the image of the determination area, and performs report outputting to a monitor and a reporting apparatus according to a result of the determination.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to a control device for a motor vehicle, having a sensor unit that is configured to contactlessly detect an object in a sensor zone situated on an outer side of the motor vehicle, and a control unit that is configured to generate a first control signal for at least one actuator according to the detected object, which a movement of an access element can be influenced. In order to improve the reliability and user-friendliness of a control device of a motor vehicle comprising a contactless sensor system, it is provided that the control device comprises a projector unit that is configured to project a light pattern that marks off at least one portion of the sensor zone.
TAILGATE DEACTIVATION SYSTEM
A tailgate deactivation system. A switch includes two terminals configured to be electrically coupled to a tailgate power circuit that supplies power to at least a portion of a tailgate of a vehicle, and an actuator configured to electrically couple the two terminals in an on state to allow power to flow in the tailgate power circuit, and to electrically decouple the two terminals in an off state to inhibit power from flowing in the tailgate power circuit.
VEHICLE DOOR HINGE FOR A VEHICLE DOOR, A TAILGATE HINGE, A SIDE DOOR HINGE AND A VEHICLE
A vehicle door hinge for a vehicle door opening vertically includes a first hinge part attached to a vehicle frame having a pivot attachment means, a second hinge part attached to the door attached to the pivot attachment means to allow the second hinge part to rotate the door in an opening or closing direction, a stopper part attached to the pivot attachment means at a distance from a mass centre of the stopper part, a locking mechanism for locking the stopper part position relative the second hinge part. The locking mechanism is moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The stopper part in the unlocked position is arranged to be moved by gravity to a resting position where it is adjacent or abutting the first hinge part and stopped by the first hinge part from rotating in the opening direction but free to rotate in the other direction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING VEHICLE DOOR
A system for operating a door of a vehicle is disclosed. The system may include an actuator configured to move the door between an open position and a closed position. The system may also include a controller configured to determine a first open-door angle associated with a predetermined first velocity profile, determine a second open-door angle based on the open position relative to the closed position, determine a second velocity profile based on the first open-door angle, the second open-door angle, and the first velocity profile, and control the actuator to operate the door according to the second velocity profile.
Method for controlling a closing element arrangement on a motor vehicle
A method for activating a closure element arrangement of a motor vehicle, wherein the closure element arrangement has a closure element, a drive arrangement assigned to the closure element, and a control arrangement. In the context of operator control event monitoring by the control arrangement, monitoring is carried out to ascertain whether a predetermined operator control event is present. An activation of the drive arrangement is performed depending on the result of the operator control event monitoring. With assumed freedom of collision of the closure element from the motor vehicle surroundings, the occurrence of various special conditions does not permit the operator control event monitoring, or permits it only to a restricted extent. The control arrangement detects the occurrence of predetermined special conditions and the activation of the closure element arrangement is deactivated depending on the respectively detected special condition.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DOOR SYSTEM
A method for operating a door system, with the door system having a door leaf and with a first sensor unit being configured on a first door side and a second sensor unit on an opposing second door side, and with the approach of a person being detected with the first sensor unit, with the method having at least the following steps: determining a probable approach time of the person after which the person passes through the door system after being first detected; opening the door leaf; storing the approach time; recording an exit time of the person from the second door side using the second sensor unit and holding open the door leaf for an opening period which is determined from the recorded exit time or the approach speed, depending on which time is longer. A door system having a control unit is configured to carry out this method.
METHOD FOR DETECTING AN OBJECT IN AN OPENING AREA OF A DOOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, AND MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a method for detecting an object in an opening area of a first door (5) of a motor vehicle (1) using at least one first distance sensor (9, 10, 11), the at least one first distance sensor (9, 10, 11) being arranged in and/or on the first door (5) and having a detection area (17, 18, 19), in which a current opening angle (α2) of the first door (5) is detected and the detection area (17, 18, 19) is adapted on the basis of the detected opening angle (α2), a state variable of at least one component of the motor vehicle (1) which differs from the first door (5) being determined, the state variable describing a position and/or an operational setting of the at least one component, and the detection area (17, 18, 19) of the at least one first distance sensor (9, 10, 11) additionally being adapted on the basis of the determined state variable.
