DOOR WITH AUTOMATIC OPENING AND CLOSING
Door with automatic opening and closing, including a door panel, a support column fixed to the door panel and suitable for rotating around its longitudinal axis in such a way to move the door panel between two end-of-travel positions, an electric motor for actuating the support column and a drive unit for transmitting the motion from the electric motor to the support column. The drive unit has a first drive element connected to the electric motor and a second drive element connected to the support column, wherein the drive unit includes a clutch unit that is interposed between the first drive element and the electric motor or between the second drive element and the support column. The door also has an automatic lock that completes the automation of the door by detectors.
Automatic power door opening on sustained presence
A power door system for a vehicle including a plurality of power-operated doors is provided. The system includes a passive remote entry device configured to emit a signal to one or more cooperating vehicle receivers and a controller configured to cause the power door system to open the at least one power-operated door when the passive remote entry device signal is received and an individual is detected in a predefined activation zone for a predetermined period of time. The system further includes a vehicle-mounted user detection device. The passive remote entry device may be selected from the group consisting of a key fob, a smart key, a key card, a cellular telephone or smartphone configured with a phone-as-a-key function, a Bluetooth®-activated and vehicle-recognized cellular telephone, a Bluetooth®-activated and vehicle-recognized smartphone, and a Bluetooth®-activated and vehicle-recognized smartwatch. Methods for controlling a power door system for a vehicle are described.
VEHICLE HAVING PET MONITORING AND RELATED CONTROLS
A vehicle is provided that includes a vehicle body, a plurality of RF signal receivers located at a plurality of locations within the vehicle, an RF signal transmitter configured to be located on a pet for transmitting an RF signal, and a controller for processing the RF signal received by each of the plurality of RF signal receivers and determining a location of the pet based on the received RF signals, wherein the controller generates an output based on the location of the pet and controls at least one vehicle function based on the output.
BARRIER CONTROL SYSTEM
A barrier control system running a program thereon, the barrier control system including a main body, a control unit disposed within at least a portion of the main body to execute the program to control operations of the main body, and at least one control device connected to the control unit to control operations of the main body through the control unit based on the program.
SWING DOOR OPERATOR FOR MOVING A SWING DOOR LEAF BETWEEN A CLOSED AND AN OPEN POSITION, A SWING DOOR SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF REGULATING A SWING DOOR OPERATOR FOR MOVING A SWING DOOR LEAF BETWEEN A CLOSED AND AN OPEN POSITION
The present invention relates to a method, a swing door system and a swing door operator (10) for moving a swing door leaf (20) between a closed and an open position (C, O), the swing door operator (10) comprising at least one drive unit (100), a control unit (200) and a sensor (300), the control unit (200) is operatively connected to the drive unit (100) and to the sensor (300) and configured to regulate the drive unit (100) to move the swing door leaf (20) between the closed and open position (C, O), wherein the sensor (300) is configured to identify an object (30) in a safety volume (400) in front of a first side (21) of the swing door leaf (20), the safety volume (400) comprising a first volume (401) and a second volume (402).
Low-cost computerized kiosks for remote collection of electronic devices for value
An example kiosk for accepting a portable electronic device from a client in exchange for payment, associated method and systems are described. The kiosk may include at least one display, an imaging chamber that includes at least one camera and one or more mirrors fixedly-arranged to capture images of a portable electronic device, at least one communication connection to a remote server and/or operator, and at least one computer. The computer may be configured to, in conjunction with the remote server and/or operator, capture one or more images of the portable electronic device in the imaging chamber while said at least one camera and said mirrors remain in unchanged positions. The computer may also transmit the captured images to the remote server and/or operator, receive an acceptance of the offered payment amount based upon an offered payment amount for the portable electronic device received from the remote server and/or operator, and provide for secure deposit of the portable device in the kiosk.
Integrated pick up truck bed
A vehicle cargo compartment system includes an electric outlet mounted within an accessible location within a vehicle cargo compartment and a sensor assembly mounted proximate the electric outlet within the cargo compartment for detecting a presence of an electrical power cord. The cargo compartment system integrates powered features such as an electric outlet, powered tailgate and the powered top that utilizes environmental information gathered by various sensors on the vehicle in combination with predefined actions to simplify use and automate operation.
AUTOMATIC DOOR DEVICE AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
An automatic door device includes a driving motor and a transmission system. An input end of the transmission system is coupled to an output shaft of the driving motor, an output end of the transmission system is coupled to a door shaft, and the transmission system has a transmission link to transmit an output torque of the driving motor to the door shaft. A clutch mechanism is disposed on the transmission link of the transmission system. Accordingly, when the door is subjected to an external force, the transmission link between the door and the driving motor can be automatically disconnected, so that while an automatic door function implemented, it is ensured that a user may not be affected by the resistance brought by the automatic door device when the user opens/closes the door manually, thereby optimizing user experience.
