ADJUSTABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AUTOMOBILE TAILGATE
This invention relates to an adjustable hinge assembly for an automobile tailgate. The hinge assembly contains a first mounting plate configured for mounting to an automobile body, a first hinge member attached to the first mounting plate, a second mounting plate configured for mounting to a tailgate, and a second hinge member attached to the second mounting plate. The first and second hinge members are hingedly connected. Adjustment screws are positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the first hinge member on the first mounting plate in the x- and y-direction. An adjustment screw is positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the second hinge on the second mounting plate in the z-direction.
Touch sensor unit
In a touch sensor unit, a bracket body is provided with a first protruding portion which is disposed on a vehicle interior side of a base portion, a gap portion is provided between the first protruding portion and the base portion, the height from the bracket body to the distal end of the first protruding portion is smaller than the height from the bracket body to the sensor portion. Therefore, when the sensor portion and the base portion are elastically deformed by contact with a blockage, the elastically deformed sensor portion and base portion enter the gap portion, thereby preventing the sensor portion and the base portion from being pressed against the corner portion of the bracket without increasing the rigidity of the sensor portion and the base portion.
Window Lock
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an improved window lock includes a base hinge, a lever lock, and a base hook. The base hinge includes an adhesive material that allows mounting of the base hinge to either the window being locked or a frame that moves with the window being locked. The lever lock moves with respect to the base hinge with the interface between the two being respective hinge portions. The base hook includes an adhesive material that allows a mounting of base hook to a frame at a particular desired location for locking the window.
SLIDING LAMINATED GLAZED UNIT WITH INTERIOR OFFSET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID GLAZED UNIT
A vehicle glazed unit includes a glass pane and a system to allow mobility of the glass pane in vertical translation relative to a door of the vehicle, the glass pane being curved and laminated and including an exterior glass sheet, an interior glass sheet and an adhesive material between the interior and exterior glass sheets. The edge of the interior glass sheet and the edge of the adhesive material sheet are both in a lateral projection of the edge of the exterior glass sheet in at least one hidden alignment zone which is located in the hidden part of the glass, and the interior offset has a width between 0.8 mm and 5.0 mm and is present in an entirety of the visible part of the glass pane.
Vehicle side window having a retaining element attached on one side
A side window for a vehicle, having a first surface, a second surface opposite thereto, and a lower edge, and having at least one retaining element attached in the region of the lower edge, wherein the retaining element has a contact section with a contact surface for securing to the side window and a securing section connected to the contact section for securing to the vehicle, and wherein the retaining element is secured to the side window on one side, by connecting the contact surface to the first surface via an adhesive, wherein the adhesive has a thickness of at least 1 mm and a modulus of elasticity of at least 150 MPa.
HANDLE LOAD TRANSFER INSERT FOR PANELS
A handle attachment assembly that includes first and second insert members, and a handle assembly that includes a cover and a main body portion. The main body portion includes a handle portion and first and second attachment portions extending from the handle portion. The cover is removably connected to the main body portion and the main body portion and the cover cooperate to define a handle interior. The first and second attachment portions include first and second attachment members, respectively. The first attachment portion and the first insert member are secured together by a first fastener, and the second attachment portion and the second insert member are secured together by a second fastener.
Device comprising a pane and at least one lifting rail, method for its production and its use
A device comprising a lifting rail that is firmly adhesively bonded to a pane is presented. The lifting rail has a tuning-fork-shaped vertical section that comprises an enclosing region having two mutually opposite open ends configured to bilaterally enclose an edge of the pane, and therefore fix the plane. The device also includes a stem surface, a region of bifurcation where the stem surface transitions into enclosing region, and an outer edge having a through-hole or a cutout. Also included is an adhesive strip that partially covers the stem surface in a manner that the through-hole or the cutout remain exposed. The adhesive strip also covers the enclosing region and the two mutually opposite open ends. The adhesive strip is deformed by the edge of the pane in two mutually opposite regions of the adhesive strip.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SLIDING GLAZING UNIT, AND SLIDING GLAZING UNIT
A method for manufacturing a glazed unit, including a glass pane having an external face, an internal face and a peripheral edge, and an attachment system to allow mobility of the glass pane in vertical translation with respect to a door of a vehicle, the attachment system being located in an attachment zone and including a window holder having a U-shaped part, wherein the attachment system is attached to the glass pane by positioning the glass pane on a reference housing, then, applying an adhesive and positioning the window holder opposite a rim of the glass pane such that the adhesive is positioned in the U-shaped part, between the glass pane and the window holder, and the window holder having a lateral extension, distinct from the U-shaped part and located opposite the glass pane, applying a quick-hardening plastic material is applied on a lateral extension, and/or under a lateral extension.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SLIDING GLAZING UNIT, AND SLIDING GLAZING UNIT
A method for manufacturing a vehicle glazed unit a glazed unit are disclosed, wherein two pairs of foam strips are applied and attached, each to a longitudinal rim of an attachment zone, a window holder having a U-shaped part clasping a rim of the glass pane and the two pairs of foam strips, a quick-hardening plastic material is injected into the U-shaped part, between the two foam strips of each pair, and an adhesive is injected into the U-shaped part, between the two pairs.
Hinge
An intelligent hinge determines motions of a swinging door. The hinge has an accelerometer secured to a leaf of the hinge. As the door swings, the leaf also rotates and the accelerometer determines an acceleration value. A velocity of the swinging door may be determined from the acceleration value. An initial, instantaneous, and final angular position of the door may also be determined from the acceleration value.
