This disclosure relates to a bump stop assembly for a motor vehicle. An example assembly includes a head configured to contact a hood of the motor vehicle when the hood is closed, a shaft, and a base configured to fit in an opening in a panel of the motor vehicle. The shaft supports the head relative to the base. Further, the base includes a notch configured to provide a fracture location of the base.
Damped hinge for pieces of furniture
A hinge for mounting a door on a piece of furniture or the like comprises a hinge arm, a box connected to the hinge arm by an articulation system comprising a plurality of movable connecting levers and seven articulation axes, spring means acting in closing direction of the hinge, and a damping device having an actuation member linearly movable according to a longitudinal axis; the damping device is at least partially enclosed between the side walls of the hinge arm, and the actuation member of the damping device extends at a front end of the hinge arm facing the hinge box for contacting thrust element of one of the connecting levers of the articulation system or integral with one of the connecting levers or with the hinge box at least in a range near the closing position of the hinge.
Furniture fitting
A furniture fitting includes a first fitting portion to be fixed to a furniture panel, and a second fitting portion to be fixed to a movably-mounted furniture part, the second fitting portion being pivotally connected to the first fitting portion. The first fitting portion includes a mounting portion having a fastening device for mounting the mounting portion to the furniture panel, and the first fitting portion includes a coupling portion hingedly connected to the second fitting portion. The coupling portion is releasably connected to the mounting portion, and the mounting portion includes a housing. The coupling portion, when connected with the mounting portion, is received within the housing. The coupling portion is releasably connected to the mounting portion by a locking device, the locking device including a movably-mounted locking element for releasably locking the coupling portion, and the locking element is pressurized by a force storage member.
Track base door hinge mechanism
A door mechanism for a compartment on an aircraft that includes a door with a first lower guide, a second lower guide, a first upper guide, and a second upper guide. The door mechanism includes a first lower track, a second lower track, a first upper track, and a second upper track, each having a guide track. The first lower guide, second guide, first upper guide, and second upper guide being configured to travel along the corresponding guide track to enable the door to move between open and closed positions. The door in the open position may be positioned within a portion the compartment or may be positioned above the compartment. The first and second lower tracks may include a first a second gap that enables the door to be selectively uncoupled from the first and second lower track guides permitting the door to swing away from the compartment.
Furniture hinge
The invention relates to a furniture hinge for the articulated securing of a furniture door, leaf or similar to a furniture body, in particular to a frame of a furniture body, comprising a mounting plate for securing the furniture hinge to the furniture body and a hinge body for securing the furniture hinge to the furniture door, leaf or similar, wherein a pivotally mounted hinge arm is associated with the hinge body and wherein the hinge arm can be secured to the mounting plate directly or via at least one connection element secured to the hinge arm. In addition, the hinge arm can be secured to the mounting plate indirectly or directly via a connection system that can be closed without tools. The furniture hinge permits a quick and secure mounting of a furniture door, leaf or similar to a furniture body.
Door stop
A door stop for a door includes a clamp that is securable over a first side edge of a door. The clamp has a guide. An arm has a receiving portion for receiving the guide to permit movement of the arm on the clamp between an open position and a closed position. A spring mechanism is operably coupled to the clamp and the arm, and urges the arm on the guide of the clamp toward the closed position. In the closed position, the arm prevents the door from engaging with a respective door jamb.
Household appliance having a part being releasably attached
A household appliance contains a part that is releasably attached onto to the household appliance through a snap-fit connection. The part is provided with two or more engagement sites including a first engagement site and a second engagement site distributed around an axis along a direction to be followed at a process for releasably securing of the part. Each of the first engagement site and the second engagement site has a different respective orthogonal projection on the axis.
Simply fitted furniture hinge
The invention relates to a furniture hinge having a mounting body and a hinge body with a hinge arm for fastening, in a hinged manner, a furniture door or the like to a furniture carcass. According to the invention, at least one section of the hinge arm or of a component connected to the hinge arm has at least one guide section which interacts with a sliding guide on the mounting body in such a manner that the hinge arm or the component connected to the hinge arm is mounted displaceably in the sliding guide along an installation direction and is retained transversely to the installation direction and that a movement of the hinge arm against the installation direction can be blocked when an installation position is reached. The invention further relates to an associated method for mounting a furniture door in a hinged manner. The furniture hinge and the method permit the installation of a furniture door, flap or the like to a furniture carcass in a fast and reliable fashion.
ROOF HINGE COVER ATTACHMENT STRATEGIES
Mounting strategies for locating and securing roof hinge covers to vehicle roofs. An exemplary roof hinge cover may be mounted relative to a roof component (e.g., roof panel, body side panel, bracket, etc.).
