A spindle drive assembly for opening and/or closing a vehicle flap is described, having a spindle and a spindle drive motor coupled thereto by means of a two-stage epicyclic gearing. A ratio of a number of teeth of each planet gear of a first epicyclic gearing stage to a number of teeth of each planet gear of a second epicyclic gearing stage is selected such that, in operation, a first sound frequency that is emitted by the first epicyclic gearing stage differs by an integer multiple of a semitone from a second sound frequency that is emitted by the second epicyclic gearing stage. In addition, a vehicle flap with such a spindle drive assembly is presented.
Electromechanical strut with power actuator having supplemental friction control
An electromechanical strut is provided for moving a pivotal closure member between open and closed positions relative to a motor vehicle body. The electromechanical strut includes a drive mechanism having a motor-gearbox assembly, flex coupling assembly, and a spring-loaded supplemental friction assembly that are operable to drive a rotatable power screw. The drive mechanism converts rotary motion of the power screw into linear motion of an extensible member to move the extensible member between a retracted position corresponding to the closure member closed position and an extended position corresponding to the closure member open position. The motor-gearbox assembly includes a motor and a geartrain having an output component driven at a reduced speed relative to the motor speed. The flex coupling assembly is operably disposed between the output component and the power screw. The spring-loaded supplemental friction assembly generates and applies a supplemental frictional force to the flex coupling assembly.
SPINDLE DRIVE
A spindle drive for a closure element of a vehicle for generating drive movements along a geometric spindle axis, wherein a tube-like drive housing and a spindle unit with a spindle guide bush and a spindle movably mounted therein are provided, a first drive connection and a second drive connection which is linearly displaceable with respect to the latter being provided to generate the drive movements, a spindle guide tube being connected to the first drive connection and, together with the first drive connection, forming a first drivetrain component which is connected to the spindle guide bush of the spindle unit, and a connecting element being connected to the second drive connection and forming a second drivetrain component which is connected to the spindle. The spindle can be mounted in the spindle guide bush in such a way that it is purely linearly movable in the spindle guide bush.

The present invention is provided with: a first housing; a second housing; a guide tube; a third housing; a motor part that is incorporated in the first housing; a screw shaft that is driven to rotate upon reception of the rotational force of a shaft of the motor part and applies power to the third housing; a bearing holder that is provided in the first housing; an inner flange that is provided in the second housing; an outer flange that is provided in the guide tube and that is arranged at a position where the outer flange overlaps the inner flange in an axial direction; a seal that is sandwiched between the inner and the outer flanges; and a coil spring (47) that is provided between the second housing (7) and the guide tube (48) and presses the inner flange (46) toward the outer flange (49) side.
Furniture drive system
A furniture drive system includes a mechanical control unit having a pivotably mounted control arm for moving a movable furniture part, a spring device for applying force to the control arm, and a movably mounted control part having a transmission opening for transmitting a force from the spring device to the control arm. An electrical drive unit has an electric motor for moving the movable furniture part, and a driver to be driven by the electric motor for transmitting a torque of the electric motor to the mechanical control unit. The driver can be inserted into the transmission opening, and the electrical drive unit and the mechanical control unit are designed as separate assemblies and can be fastened to each other. A contact surface for the driver is arranged laterally adjacent to the transmission opening and the driver is preloaded toward the contact surface by a force store.
PIVOTABLE SPINDLE NUT
The invention relates to a spindle drive, comprising a drive unit, a spindle, and a spindle nut in threaded engagement with the spindle, the spindle nut being driven by the drive unit by means of a drive element and wherein the spindle nut is mounted on the drive element in such a way that the spindle nut and the spindle in threaded engagement with it are pivotable relative to the drive element.

Boot lid
An automobile comprises an automatically opening and closing boot lid having a drive mechanism located on the dry side of the drain channel and a rotatable shaft extending into the wet side of the drain channel, in order to provide drive to an arm which opens and closes the boot lid. The drive mechanism may be a linear actuator, such as a spindle drive, but drive is transmitted through the drain channel as torque.
VEHICLE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS
A supporting member includes: a rotatable spindle supported in a first housing; a cylindrical first guide fixed in a second housing, and guiding a relative movement of the spindle in an axial direction; a second guide fixed in the first housing, having an inner diameter larger than a first guide's outer diameter, and relatively movable in the direction to the first guide; and a nut being a stepped shaft-like member including an insertion portion inserted into the first guide, a protruding portion protruded from the first guide, and a narrow portion provided therebetween. The first guide includes a caulking portion to the nut at an opening end. The caulking portion includes a portion extending to intersect in the direction along a step between the insertion portion and the narrow portion, and another portion parallel to the direction along an outer circumferential surface of the narrow portion.
