APPARATUS TO MINIMISE INJURY CAUSED BY AN EXTREMITY TRAPPED BY A CLOSING HINGED DOOR
An apparatus is provided having a foam cushion (9) attached to an elongate elastic member (8). Adhesive pads (10) are attached one to each end of the elastic member (8). A U shaped resiliently deformable handle is attached to the uppermost and lowest cushion (9) and adapted to project through the hinge gap formed between the hinge stile (6) and the door jamb (7) when the door is swung open. The apparatus can be secured to the hinge stile (6) of a hinge mounted door leaf (3) by means of the adhesive pads (10) and with the elastic member (8) under sufficient tension to keep the cushions resting against the hinge stile and the handle projecting through the hinge gap. If an attempt is made to close the door without displacing the cushions 9 from the hinge gap the cushions prevent full closure. To fully close the door the handle is pulled from the hinge side of the door, until the cushions (9) are displaced through the hinge gap and the door can then be closed. The cushions are too wide to pass through the reduced hinge gap when the door is closed. When the door is opened the spring force of the elastic member causes the cushions (9) to pull back through the widening hinge gap.
CABINET DOOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE AND CABINET HAVING SAME
A cabinet door mounting structure for detachably mounting a cabinet door to a cabinet body includes a mounting base, a mounting post, and a mounting plate. The mounting base defines a latching slot. The mounting post extends from the mounting base and is configured to rotationally couple the cabinet door to the cabinet body. The mounting plate is fixedly coupled to the cabinet door. The mounting plate is configured to be bent to latch the mounting plate in the latching slot to mount the cabinet door to the mounting base.
Driver element for a motor vehicle window lifter
A driver element for a motor vehicle window lifter, which element can be connected to a window pane to be moved.
SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM
A sliding door system includes a rail device with a mounting rail mountable in a building, with a guide rail in which at least two carriages that are connected to a sliding door are held displaceable along a guide axis, and with a plurality of coupling devices with which the guide rail and the mounting rail are releasably connected with one another and which comprise a coupling head connected to the guide rail or the mounting rail, that comprises a coupling plate and a coupling neck and that can be anchored in a coupling opening provided in the mounting rail or the guide rail and which comprises a first opening part with a diameter larger than a diameter of the coupling plate, and a second opening part adjacent thereto with a diameter larger than the diameter of the coupling neck but smaller than the diameter of the coupling plate.
Latching hinge system, method and apparatus
A system and method of a latching hinge system including a first leaf, a second leaf pivotally coupled to the first leaf, a coupler mounted on a first latch surface of the first leaf and a receiver mounted on a second latch surface of the second leaf wherein at least one of the coupler and the receiver has a corresponding orientation for latching the first leaf and the second leaf at a corresponding first angle.
Roller assembly for a sliding vehicle door
A roller assembly for a sliding vehicle door includes a bracket structure having a first and second inner horizontal guide roller arranged to interact with an inner vertical surface of the track member. The bracket structure further includes at least a first and second vertical guide roller arranged to interact with a first inner surface of the track member, a resiliently arranged rotatable member arranged to interact with a second inner surface of the track member and at least one outer horizontal guide roller arranged to interact with an outer vertical surface of the track member.
