The processor is configured to compare the movement of the object in the image data to a sequence of movements of a standard object of the plurality of standard objects, and determine that the object is a living being based on the comparison.
Vehicle having door with obstacle avoidance
A vehicle having powered door assist includes a plurality of powered doors, each powered door having an actuator for moving the door between closed and open door positions, and a plurality of sensors located on the vehicle for sensing objects proximate to the vehicle including one or more potential passengers expected to enter the vehicle and for sensing an obstacle within or proximate to a swing path of at least one of the plurality of powered doors. The vehicle also includes a controller determining an estimated weight of the one or more potential passengers, detecting expected height of the plurality of powered door with the estimated weight added to the vehicle, detecting height of a sensed obstacle within the swing path of one of the powered doors and determining whether the expected height of the one powered door will interfere with the sensed obstacle in the swing path.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN ELECTRIC SLIDING DOOR IN A TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE
A method for driving an electromechanical sliding door in a transportation vehicle, wherein the sliding door has an adjusting mechanism with a rolling carriage guided in a guide rail and a first electric drive motor. A fixing mechanism with a second electric drive motor and also a locking mechanism is also provided, which locking mechanism allows the rolling carriage to be arrested in any desired position. Here, the locking mechanism is driven by the second electric drive motor. The method may include driving the second electric drive motor with an input voltage which lies below a threshold voltage for tripping the locking mechanism, continuously increasing the input voltage for the second electric drive motor, and locking the locking mechanism when the input voltage for the second electric drive motor exceeds the threshold voltage for tripping the locking mechanism.
Door handle arrangement for a vehicle
A door handle arrangement for a vehicle, includes a housing and a handle lever which is mounted on the housing such that it can be moved between a rest position and an actuating position for unlocking and/or opening a vehicle door, it being possible for the housing to be oriented on a vehicle body outer part which forms a part of the outer surface of a vehicle body and has a handle cut-out for the handle lever, first positioning projections being provided on the housing, which first positioning projections are configured to bear against an angled-over edge of the vehicle body outer part, which angled-over edge delimits the handle cut-out of the vehicle body outer part at least in regions, and, as a result, to position the handle lever with the housing in at least one spatial direction in relation to the handle cut-out.
Vehicle door handle sanitizing system
A vehicle door assembly comprising includes a vehicle door panel, a vehicle door handle operably connected to the door panel so as to enable operation of a door latch by the door handle, and at least one sanitizer dispensing mechanism having at least a first nozzle coupled to the vehicle door panel and structured to discharge a sanitizing material onto an exterior surface of the door handle.
Vehicle latch assembly with interchangeable power release gears for normal or high output latch systems
A latching assembly providing two options or systems for electric release output and timing, while keeping the two systems as common with one another as possible. A vehicle latching assembly, including: a housing; a release lever pivotally mounted to the housing; a first gear train for actuating the release lever, the first gear train includes a first worm and a first release gear the first worm meshingly engages the first release gear; and a second gear train for actuating the release lever, the second gear train being interchangeable with the first gear train, the second gear train includes a second worm and a second release gear the second worm meshingly engages the second release gear, wherein the second gear train applies a greater amount of force to the release lever than the first gear train.
DOOR DRIVE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR OR MOTOR VEHICLE FLAP
A door drive for a motor vehicle door or motor vehicle flap, which is provided with an electromotive drive, a transmission downstream of the drive, and a force-transmission element. The force-transmission element is operatively connected to a leaf of the motor vehicle door or motor vehicle flap. An output element of the transmission and the force-transmission element are coupled by a toothing with compensation for play. According to the invention, the output element and/or the force-transmission element are not only designed to be moveable for play compensation, but can also be permanently fixed after the compensation for play.
DUAL FUNCTION LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR DUAL DOOR PILLAR-LESS DOOR SYSTEM AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly for a closure system having first and second closure members each movable between open and closed positions and method of operation are provided. The assembly includes a primary latch mechanism that has a primary actuation group to control actuation of the first closure member. The latch assembly also includes a secondary latch mechanism that has a secondary actuation group operable to control actuation of the second closure member. A controller unit is coupled to the primary and secondary actuation groups and determines which of the primary actuation group and the secondary actuation group to actuate and controls actuation of at least one of the primary actuation group and the secondary actuation group accordingly. The primary and secondary latch mechanisms, primary and secondary actuation groups, and controller unit are all integrated into the housing.
Method for controlling door movements of the door of a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle component
A method for controlling door motions of a controllable door of a motor vehicle, wherein a control device and a sensor arrangement are assigned to the door, and the door includes a controllable motion influencing device. A motion of a door wing of the door can be controlled and influenced by the motion influencing device to alternate between a closed position and an open position. The sensor arrangement includes a surround sensor and monitors the surroundings of the door. The control device captures the signals from the sensor arrangement and evaluates the movement of an object in the surroundings of the door relative to the door and actively moves the door wing of the door, to prevent a collision with the object or to reduce its effects.
