Door opening and closing apparatus
A door opening and closing apparatus includes: a body defining an opening and an interior space, the opening being open toward the outside of a vehicle body and the interior space defined inside the vehicle body so as to be connected to the opening; a door configured to open and close the opening; a guide part disposed in the interior space and guiding the door such that the door moves in a first direction and a direction opposite to the first direction, the first direction being a direction from the outside of the vehicle body to the inside of the vehicle body; and a transport part disposed in the interior space and that moves the door in a second direction and a direction opposite to the second direction.
REDUNDANT RAIL AND CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY
A redundant rail and carriage assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a primary sub-assembly including a primary rail and a primary carriage. The assembly may include a secondary sub-assembly including a secondary rail and a secondary carriage, the secondary rail being different than the primary rail, the secondary carriage being different than the secondary carriage. The assembly may be configured to couple to an actuatable door configured to actuate between a stowed door position and a deployed door position via at least one intermediate door position using one of the primary sub-assembly or the secondary sub-assembly, the secondary sub-assembly being configured to actuate the actuatable door via the secondary rail and the secondary carriage if one of the primary rail or the primary carriage of the primary sub-assembly fails.
Hand grippable inside handle
The present disclosure provides a hand grippable inside handle. Some forms of the present disclosure may include an upper grip handle and a lower grip handle which are coupled to an inner side of a door of a vehicle, a grip type inside handle having an upper portion engaged with the upper grip handle and a lower portion engaged with the lower grip handle, and an inside handle rod installed inside the grip type inside handle and configured to pivot with the grip type inside handle about an axis in a length direction when the grip type inside handle is pivoted, thereby operating a latch device of the door.
Aircraft emergency door and method of operating the same
There is disclosed an emergency door positionable in an exit opening of an aircraft. The door has door supports mountable to the lower wall and each having a pivot point. A first pivot axis is defined between the pivot points. A block is mountable to the lower wall and is offset from a center of the lower wall. A door body is mountable within the opening to the door supporting structure and pivotally mountable to the door supports. The door body is pivotable about the first pivot axis from an initial position in which the door body is within the opening, until the door body is disengaged from the door supports. A bottom portion of the door body abuts against the block to define a removal pivot point. The door body is pivotable about the removal pivot point to remove the door body from the exit opening.
Security barrier for outward-swing doors of vehicles and method thereof
An apparatus for providing improved security to an outward-swing door of a vehicle. The outward-swing door is on a sidewall of a main housing of the vehicle and has a pivotal end and a distal end opposite to the pivotal end. The outward-swing door is outwardly pivotable about the pivotal end thereof. The apparatus comprises a connecting structure for coupling to a bottom wall of the main housing, a base structure for coupling to the connecting structure so as to locate adjacent the outward-swing door and outside a swing path of the outward-swing door, and a blocking structure demountably coupled to the base structure, at least a portion thereof extendable into the swing path of the outward-swing door for restricting the outward-swing door to open to a predefined maximum extent.
Assist apparatus for assisting user to get out of vehicle
An assist apparatus for assisting a user or an occupant of a vehicle to get out of the vehicle, the assist apparatus configured to be capable of opening a door of the vehicle automatically upon a request operation for opening the door by the user.
Device for operating opposite sliding doors
A device for operating opposite sliding doors of a vehicle includes a center rail mounted at a center inside a door and formed in a curved shape so that the door moves to the outside of a vehicle interior of the vehicle when the door is opened. A center roller is mounted on the vehicle body so as to correspond to the center rail. The center roller is configured to move the center rail by being coupled to the center rail when the door is opened or closed as a center bearing unit formed at one side of the center roller is seated on the center rail. The center roller has a center shaft formed at a position spaced apart from the center bearing unit such that the center shaft can rotate the center roller.
Vehicle door latch apparatus
Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release mean. The present vehicle door latch apparatus includes ratchet member that engages latch and that can be released from latch by release component force F2, latch restraint that prevents ratchet member from being disengaged from latch and powered release means that moves ratchet restraint. Ratchet member includes base lever and pawl lever. When ratchet restraint is moved, base lever is moved to a non-regulated position, where pawl lever can be disengaged from latch by release component force F2. Manual release means is connected to pawl lever. Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release means.
Motor-driven door latch for vehicle
A motor-driven door latch includes a catch part that is caught on a striker to lock the vehicle door to the vehicle body or is released from the striker so that the vehicle door can be opened from the vehicle body. A door locking and releasing part includes a main motor and is configured to apply a torque to the catch part through the main motor. An emergency door releasing part is provided with an auxiliary motor and is contacted with the door locking and releasing part by operation of the auxiliary motor. An inside emergency operating lever is connected with an inside handle installed at the vehicle door and is configured to receive an operation force of the inside handle to rotate and apply torque to the catch part through the emergency door releasing part and the door locking and releasing part.
Door sealing and timing mechanism for use in coach door configuration for a vehicle
A vehicle includes a body having an uninterrupted side aperture that provides access to an interior passenger cabin. A front door is hingedly attached at a forward edge of the uninterrupted side aperture. The front door is selectively operable between front open and front closed positions. A rear door is hingedly attached at a rearward edge of the uninterrupted side aperture. The rear door is selectively operable between rear open and rear closed positions. A latching assembly is at least partially positioned within the body and configured to receive the front door in the front closed position and the rear door in the rear closed position. A sealing assembly is defined between a forward seal of the rear door and a rearward seal of the front door. The forward and rearward seals engage one another in a fully-closed position.
