Articulating vehicle energy source door
A vehicle port door includes a housing and an interlocking linkage assembly. The interlocking linkage assembly is pivotably connected to the housing.
Lid system
A lid system is a system including a plurality of lids of a vehicle, the system including: a first lid that covers a power supply port that receives AC power, the first lid being openable and closable; a second lid that covers a power supply port that receives DC power, the second lid being openable and closable; a lid opener for opening the first and second lids; a position detecting unit that detects a current position of the vehicle; and an ECU that controls the lid system. The ECU obtains positions of power supply facilities of the AC power or the DC power, specifies a power supply facility located at a position close to the current position detected by the position detecting unit, and performs a prescribed process for opening, by the lid opener, the lid corresponding to an energy source supplied by the specified power supply facility.
Method of generating warnings using a vehicle motor
A method of generating warnings associated with a vehicle is provided. The method broadly includes the steps of: (a) receiving an indication that a warning relating to operation of an electric motor is appropriate; (b) generating a drive current for the electric motor; (c) superimposing a warning signal onto the drive current; and (d) driving the electric motor with the drive current and the superimposed warning signal such that the electric motor produces the warnings. The warning signal may produce an audio warning, a tactile warning, or a combination thereof.
Charging connector device for a motor vehicle
A charging connector device for a motor vehicle. A connector socket, which is arranged in a depression, with a pivotable cover, which can be detachably connected to said connector socket, as well as a pivotable cover flap, which closes the depression reversibly. The cover and the cover flap can pivot between a closed position and an opened position. The cover, situated in the opened position, is arranged in the pivoting path of the cover flap, which can pivot from the opened position to the closed position by a motor-driven positioning device, and, during the pivot movement of the cover flap, is entrained by the latter for closure.
ACTUATOR FOR FUEL LID
A fuel lid actuator includes a motor, a gear member that rotates within a predetermined angular range associated with the operation of the motor, a moving member that includes a shaft-shaped rod part and is disposed so as to be able to advance and retreat in an axial direction in associated with the rotation of the gear member, and a housing member which includes first and second housing members that house the motor, the gear member and the moving member and in which a cylindrical rod support part for supporting the rod part is installed. The rod support part is in formed into a tubular shape and includes a semi-cylindrical first rod support part installed in the first housing member and a semi-cylindrical second rod support part installed in the second housing member.
DRIVE DEVICE FOR AN OPENING MECHANISM FOR OPENING A MOVABLE OPENING ELEMENT OF A VEHICLE, AND OPENING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A drive device for an opening mechanism for opening a movable opening element of a vehicle. The drive device comprising: a drive unit for generating the drive torque; a housing having a mounting side which can be oriented towards a vehicle part of the vehicle in order to mount the drive device; and a gearbox for increasing the drive torque of the drive unit. The gearbox having a drive-side, first gearbox unit comprising a first gear which has a first axis of rotation and a first radius, and an output-side second gearbox unit for coupling with the opening mechanism having an output axis. The first gearbox unit and the second gearbox unit being operatively connected to one another. An opening system is also provided.
FUEL CHARGING OR ELECTRICITY CHARGING PORT LID LOCK AND FUEL CHARGING OR ELECTRICITY CHARGING PORT LID ASSEMBLY
Fuel charging or electricity charging port lid lock includes an elevating shaft provided with an elevating thread on an exterior wall thereof. The port lid lock also includes a worm gear configured to drive the elevating shaft. The worm gear is sleeved outside of the elevating shaft. The port lid lock also includes a worm configured to drive the worm gear. The elevating shaft is configured to be capable of moving up and moving down along an axial direction of the elevating shaft and rotating about the axial direction of the elevating shaft when driven by the worm. A head portion of the elevating shaft is used to drive a fuel charging or electricity charging port lid so as to control the opening and closing of the fuel charging or electricity charging port lid.
Systems and methods for a refueling request
Methods and systems are provided for opening a refueling door. In one example, a method may include gradually opening the refueling door in proportion to a fuel tank depressurization rate.
Actuation Mechanism for Actuating a Cover or Flap of a Vehicle
Disclosure is an actuating mechanism (1) for actuating a cover or flap (2) of a vehicle. The cover or flap (2) is manually reversibly movable between open and closed positions. In the closed position, the cover or flap (2) is arranged flush with a vehicle outer shell (3), and in the open position the cover or flap (2) is arranged at least partially or regionally behind the vehicle outer shell (3). The actuating mechanism (1) includes a movement mechanism (3) operatively connected to the cover or flap (2) that, when transferring the cover or flap (2) from its closed position into its open position, first transfer the cover or flap (2) into an intermediate position in which the cover or flap (2) is located at least partially or regionally behind the vehicle outer shell (3) and then transfer the cover or flap (2) into its open position in an at least substantially and preferably purely rotational movement. According to the disclosure, it is provided in particular that the actuating mechanism (1) further includes a spring mechanism that is associated with the articulation mechanism (3) or is part of the articulation mechanism (3). The spring mechanism is configured so as to, when transferring the cover or flap (2) from its closed position into its open position or when transferring the cover or flap (2) from its open position into its closed position, apply a force component to the articulation mechanism (3) that supports the transfer of the cover or flap (2) at least into its open position or closed position.
LID OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
An object is to suppress rattling of a lid due to a clearance in a link mechanism. A lid opening/closing device includes an actuator box in which an actuator is housed, and a link mechanism interposed between the actuator and a lid. The link mechanism includes a shaft member extending between the actuator box and a lid box. The lid box has a fitting hole into which another axial end portion of the shaft member mounted to the actuator box at one axial end portion thereof before assembly between both boxes is inserted. Both boxes have a guide portion for guiding both boxes during the assembly by inserting the shaft member into the fitting hole. The guide portion has a rotation guide portion for rotating the actuator box about an axis of the shaft member toward a lid closing side with respect to the lid box during the assembly.
