VEHICLE FUEL DOOR BIASING SYSTEMS
This disclosure is directed to vehicle fuel systems that include door biasing systems for controlling the opening and/or closing of a fuel door of the fuel systems. In a first embodiment, a dual spring door biasing system controls the operation of the fuel door. In a second embodiment, a wind closed door biasing system controls the operation of the fuel door.
LID OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
In a lid opening and closing device for vehicle, a rod can move forward and backward between pushed-in and protruding positions, and is supported on a case so that the rod can attain a lid closed position where the rod returns from pushed-in position toward protruding position only by predetermined movement amount. An axial position-restricting groove has a pin-receiving portion and is formed on the rod or a coupling member. An elastic member has a pin inserted into the groove while being receivable by the portion when the rod is at lid closed position, the elastic member being supported on the case and exhibiting resilient force making the pin resiliently abut against the rod or coupling member. The case is provided with a restricting part capable of abutting against the elastic member, and restricting displacement of the elastic member to a side where the pin is disengaged from the groove.
FLAP OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISM
A flap opening and closing mechanism includes a flap and a lock member. The flap includes a first engagement member, and is pivotally supported on a vehicle body side. The flap opens and closes an opening in an outer plate of a vehicle body. The lock member locks the flap. The lock member includes a body to be mounted on the vehicle body side, a swing member pivotally supported on the body, a second engagement member, and an adjustor. The second engagement member is engaged with the first engagement member, and provided in the swing member. The adjustor allows for a rotational movement of the body about a rotation shaft of the swing member to the vehicle body in a state where the body is temporarily fixed to the vehicle body side. The lock member locks the swing member at a position corresponding to the closing position of the flap.
Radiator grille charging door apparatus
A radiator grille charging door apparatus for an electric vehicle for charging the electric vehicle in which a charging port is positioned at an inner side of a radiator grille is provided. The apparatus includes a charging door that has one end formed with a hinge shaft and a hinge connector that is coupled to the hinge shaft of the charging door at one side of the hinge connector. A hinge bracket is coupled to an inside of the hinge connector and a plurality of hinge springs connect the hinge connector and the hinge bracket to each other.
FUEL LID OPENER
When a fuel lid goes from an open state to a closed state and a pressed state and then returns to the closed state, a contact/non-contact switching mechanism switches a signal outputted from a microswitch from an ON signal to an OFF signal by performing a first operation. When the fuel lid goes from the closed state to the pressed state and then returns to the closed state, the contact/non-contact switching mechanism switches the signal outputted from the microswitch from the OFF signal to the ON signal and the OFF signal in that order by performing a second operation. Under a condition at least of the signal outputted from the microswitch switching from the OFF signal to the ON signal and the OFF signal in that order within a prescribed time, a control unit controls a lifter to rotate to another side around an axis line.
DOOR OPENING MODULES FOR VEHICLE FUEL SYSTEMS
This disclosure is directed to vehicle fuel systems that include door opening modules for controlling a fuel door opening sequence. An exemplary door opening module may include an actuator (e.g., a motor, an electromagnet, a solenoid, etc.) for automatically moving the fuel door to an ajar position after a fuel tank depressurization sequence is completed. Sound messages may be communicated to a user during the depressurization sequence by an audio actuator.
SWITCHING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a switching device comprising at least one (a first) sheet of glazing material having a first major surface and an opposing second major surface, a switch attached to the first major surface of the first sheet of glazing material, and a sensor assembly facing the second major surface of the first sheet of glazing material. The switch comprises a movable portion operatively coupled with the sensor assembly such that upon operation of the switch, the movable portion moves from a first position to a second position and the movement of the movable portion from the first position to the second position is detectable by the sensor assembly. The switching device may be part of a window or door for a building or a vehicle.
LID OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A lid opening and closing device for a vehicle includes a restriction member that is operable between a restriction position at which the restriction is applied and a restriction release position at which the restriction is released, an electric motor that drives the restriction member between the restriction position and the restriction release position in response to a door switching between a locked state and an unlocked state, a case that houses the restriction member and the electric motor, and an emergency operation member that can move the restriction member to the restriction release position when the electric motor malfunctions, wherein an operating force-acting direction conversion mechanism is provided between the emergency operation member and the restriction member, the operating force-acting direction conversion mechanism converting the operating force from the emergency operation member into a force that causes operation from the restriction position toward the restriction release position.
Vehicle port device
Provided is a vehicle port device that includes a lid (38) that selectively closes an opening (44) of a port accommodating space facing outwardly on a vehicle body, a first display unit (52) positioned in the port accommodating space, and a second display unit (54) configured to indicate a failure in the port module and positioned in the port accommodating space. The lid includes a translucent part (46A) opposing the first display unit and an opaque part (46B) opposing the second display unit in a closed state of the lid.
FUEL TANK CAP LOCKING DEVICE
A fuel tank cap locking device includes: a cap configured to open and close a fuel filler port; an operation unit; an engagement unit movable in conjunction with the operation unit; and a lock unit configured to lock movement of the engagement unit from the engagement position to the allowable position. The lock unit includes a lock member that is movable between an interference position where the lock member interferes with an interfered portion formed at a predetermined position of the engagement unit and locks, and a non-interference position where the lock member does not interfere with the interfered portion and the lock is released when the engagement unit moves from the engagement position to the allowable position by the swing operation of the operation unit.
