Extruded frame system for glazing
A frame system for securing a glazing unit to a window portal includes an elongated primary mount extrusion, an elongated mount stop extrusion, an elongated first gasket, an elongated second gasket and a structural sealant. The primary mount extrusion is secured to the window portal. A mount stop extrusion engages the primary mount extrusion with a pair of ratcheting members. The first gasket and the second gasket define a passage therebetween and the passage has a width so that the glazing unit fits therein. A structural sealant is disposed so as to affix the glazing unit to an inner upper surface of the primary mount extrusion.

PROFILED PLASTIC SECTION FOR A METAL/PLASTIC COMPOSITE PROFILED SECTION
The invention relates to a profiled plastic section (1) for a metal/plastic composite profiled section (31). The profiled plastic section (1) comprises a first profiled element (2) and at least one second profiled element (3). The first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) together form a latching mechanism (4, 9; 5, 10; 6, 11), by means of which a form-fitting connection can preferably be produced between the first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) in a width direction (x) and in a height direction (y). The first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) overlap preferably over a large area when the form-fitting connection is produced between the first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3), and the form-fitting connection can be produced on the cross-sectional plane (x, y) between the first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) by latching the profiled elements (2, 3) of the profiled plastic section (1). The form-fitting connection between the first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) is designed such that a movement of the first profiled element (2) and the second profiled element (3) in a longitudinal direction (z) of the profiled plastic section (1) is allowed when a first metal component (29) is connected to the first profiled element (2) and a second metal component (30) is connected to the second profiled element (3) preferably in a shear-resistant manner. The profiled plastic section (1) can likewise also be designed with more than two profiled elements (2, 3), and the basic principle according to the invention of generating a shear-free plastic/metal composite profiled section (31) can be carried over.

Gate assembly
A gate assembly is formed from a gate attached by hinges to a jamb. A pair of L-shaped brackets are attached to the outer sides of the jamb. The brackets are in turn attached to a pair of gate posts in a barrier. Bolt holes formed in the header section of the jamb receive removable eye bolts that may be used as hoisting points as the jamb is being positioned within a barrier. To maintain the shape of the jamb during such positioning, a removable sill section is included in the base of the jamb. The first upright section of the jamb defines an unobstructed internal channel bounded by input and output portals. A cable may pass though the channel and into the gate by way of the output portal. Window openings in the gate may be fitted with removable window panels containing pickets and infill material. Dual gates may be positioned within an enlarged jamb, and a removable mullion post positioned between the gates and supported by the jamb.
Microjamb window & door jamb system
The primary object of the MicroJamb Window & Door Jamb System is to provide an improved, yet, less costly jamb that, along with a system of interchangeable parts, simplifies the production and installation of windows and doors (so as to substantially reduce the time, materials and costs involved in both) and which, by design, makes windows and doors much more weather-tight. It accomplishes this by: reducing the width of the standard 4½-inch jamb by 1 inch (which immediately reduces material costs 22%) so as to fit between the drywall and sheathing of exterior walls; replacing wood molding with simulated molding of extruded plastic (reducing molding costs by over 50%); and by eliminating interior trim, when desired, altogether (reducing cost of interior trim 100%).
Hardened compression frame systems and methods
Blast, ballistic, and entry resistant compression frame systems include a plurality of bolts, an exterior frame assembly having a peripheral flange and a plurality of sleeves that receive the bolts, an interior frame assembly having a peripheral flange and a plurality of apertures that receive the bolts therethrough, an exterior gasket between the peripheral flange of the exterior frame assembly and an exterior surface of the wall of the building, and an interior gasket between the peripheral flange of the interior frame assembly and an interior surface of the wall of the building. The exterior frame assembly peripheral flange and the interior frame assembly peripheral flange apply a compression force to the wall when the bolts are torque tightened into the threaded sleeves. Methods of installation in a wall of a building are also provided.
MODULAR GLASS DOOR ASSEMBLY
A modular glass door assembly includes a door, an inner frame, and an outer frame. The door has a glass door leaf and a doorframe mounted to the outer periphery of the glass door leaf. The inner frame is attached to the outer periphery of the doorframe and connected to the doorframe by two hinges up and down. The outer frame has four frame strips arranged around the outer periphery of the inner frame and each provided with a concave portion engaged with one respective convex portion of the inner frame. By this way, the inner frame and the outer frame can be directly assembled with each other or a fixed window panel can be added between the inner frame and the outer frame. Thus, the modular glass door assembly of the present invention has advantages of easy assembly and high scalability.
