FLOOD BARRIER WINDOW SYSTEM
20210238911 · 2021-08-05 · ·

According to one example, a window system includes a window and further includes a frame that can be coupled to an opening in a structure. The frame includes one or more window seats and one or more moveable window stops. The one or more window seats can surround all or a portion of a periphery of the window. The one or more moveable window stops can be moved and coupled to different positions along a depth of the one or more window seats. The window includes a first window portion, a second window portion, and an interlayer positioned in-between the first window portion and the second window portion. The interlayer extends out of the periphery of the window.

Double egress door frame

A double egress door frame has a channel-shaped header with upstanding sides connected by a central web. The central web has a first series of slots that are offset to one side of the central web and a second series of slots that are offset toward the opposite side of the central web. Door stops comprise a right elongated channel-shaped member and a left elongated channel-shaped member. The channel-shaped members are attached to the central web of the header by tabs extending from the sides of the channel-shaped members. The tabs engage the slots. Once the tabs have passed through the slots to the opposite side of the central web, the tabs are twisted thereby connecting the channel-shaped members to the central web. A spot weld is used to insure the door stops is permanently locked into position.

HARDENED COMPRESSION FRAME SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Blast, ballistic, and entry resistant compression frame systems include a plurality of bolts, an exterior frame assembly having a peripheral flange and a plurality of sleeves that receive the bolts, an interior frame assembly having a peripheral flange and a plurality of apertures that receive the bolts therethrough, an exterior gasket between the peripheral flange of the exterior frame assembly and an exterior surface of the wall of the building, and an interior gasket between the peripheral flange of the interior frame assembly and an interior surface of the wall of the building. The exterior frame assembly peripheral flange and the interior frame assembly peripheral flange apply a compression force to the wall when the bolts are torque tightened into the threaded sleeves. Methods of installation in a wall of a building are also provided.

SYSTEM FOR A CONFIGURABLE DOOR SILL
20210140226 · 2021-05-13 · ·

A system, device, kit, assembly and methods for a frame assembly, including a door sill as shown and described. The assembly may be a door frame assembly and may, by way of example, be a door jamb and/or a door mullion including a door sill. Some inventions of the present disclosure may be a configurable door sill. In some embodiments, a door sill includes a base and a configurable insert component.

SOUND DAMPING DOOR
20210071470 · 2021-03-11 ·

A sound damping door system having a door frame, a compression seal, a door slab, a bottom seal, and a concealed hinge assembly. The door frame includes male and female components adapted to engage each other in a rough door opening between first and second wall faces; and at least one isolation gasket adapted to be disposed between the male and female components. The compression seal is mounted to the door frame. The door slab includes an outer skin; an arched constrainment sheet inside the outer skin; a damping fill material inside the outer skin; and an acoustic insert inside the outer skin. The bottom seal is mounted to a bottom surface of the door slab such that the bottom seal is permitted to move relative to the door slab.
