A window jamb extender includes a frame including: (i) a first leg including opposite inner and outer ends; and, (ii) a second leg connected to the outer end of the first leg and arranged transversely relative to the first leg. The first leg includes an outer face adapted to be abutted with an associated wall stud that partially defines a periphery of an opening in an associated wall structure. The first leg includes an inner face that is opposite the outer face and that is adapted to lie adjacent an outer peripheral wall of an associated window frame. The second leg includes an inner face adapted to lie adjacent an exterior face of the associated window frame. The window jamb extender further includes a primary flange that projects outwardly from the outer face of said first leg.

A rain shield for an exterior architectural window may include a a generally rectangular-planar shield member. The shield may further include a pair of opposing panel members each having a clasp for engaging a window frame. The clasps may be hingedly joined to opposing sides of the shield member. Optionally, the shield member may be divided into inner and outer shield panels slideably engaging each other to form a width-adjustable structure.

A corner flashing system is provided for sealing the corners of recessed window frames against moisture penetration. In a preferred embodiment, the system comprises first and second double-flap members, a half-cube member, and caulking. The first and second double-flap members, and the half-cube member are preferably made of asphalt or petroleum based material. In another preferred embodiment, the system comprises one double-flap member, a modified half-cube member, and caulking. In another preferred embodiment, the system comprises a single member that combines a double-flap member and a half-cube member, and caulking. A window frame assembly for attachment to a window opening in a support structure, the assembly includes a first frame and a second frame that engage each other from opposite sides of the window opening, wherein the first frame includes a window and at least one abutment member adapted to be fixed to the support structure. The second frame includes at least one abutment member, such as a jamb, a head or a sill. The first frame includes a recess between the at least one abutment member and the window such that, upon engagement of the first frame and the second frame from opposite sides of the window opening, the at least one abutment member of the second frame is received by the recess of the first frame.

A rain shield is provided for exterior architectural windows which prevents rain water from intruding into a dwelling. The rain shield may include a generally rectangular-planar shield member. The device may also include first and second lower fixed pivots disposed on a lower portion of opposing sides of the shield member. The first and second fixed pivots may be oppositely directed from each other and cooperate to pivot the device between stowed and deployed configurations. The rain shield may also include first and second lateral supports disposed on either side of the shield member.

The present disclosure concerns a foundation window assembly comprising a window frame comprising a plurality of frame members, and at least one casing connector arranged on at least one of said plurality of frame members; and a window casing comprising a plurality of casing members defining together a frame-receiving opening, wherein at least one of said plurality of casing members defines a frame-abutting shoulder at least partially delimited by a casing flange portion and a frame-engaging portion. A frame-engaging recess is formed in the frame-engaging portion, the frame-engaging recess at least partially circumscribing the frame-receiving opening, the casing connector being removably engageable into the frame-engaging recess when the window frame is inserted into the frame-receiving opening. The present disclosure also concerns a method for installing a foundation window frame into a foundation wall.

A window reveal kit can include a window, a first connector, and at least one reveal trim. The window has an outer side, an inner side, and a frame portion about a perimeter of the window. The first connector can be formed on the frame portion, on the inner side of the window. The at least one reveal trim can have a second connector that is configured to engage the first connector so that the reveal trim extends from the first connector.

A corner bracket for assembly of two boards of a window mounting collar into a collar corner and for affixing said window mounting collar to an exterior face of a building faade so as to surround a window opening, said corner bracket; comprising two holding plates and two base arms, all four adapted for extending in planes parallel with and having back surfaces abutting the exterior face of the building faade in an affixed position of the collar. The bracket further comprises two flanges and two abutment plates adapted to extend away from said exterior face in an affixed position of the collar. Each abutment plate is positioned at a mutual distance from and in parallel with an associated said flange, each abutment plate being connected to the associated said flange via an associated said holding plate; so as to be able to hold said boards together to form said window collar corner, each board being received between a respective flange and its associated abutment plate.

Covering element (7) to cover the edge of a glass pane (5), characterized in that the covering element (7) includes a leaf profile (6) for a leaf (3,4) of a window (1) or door and includes at least one adjustable setting piece (10), whereby the setting piece (10) is or can be fastened to an edge of the glass pane (5), whereby the leaf profile (6) is or can be connected to the setting piece (10), and whereby the setting piece (10) is arranged to be able to adjust the distance between the leaf profile (6) and the edge of the glass pane (5) when using the covering element (7).
