Door frame structure and method for mounting door frame structure

[Object] To provide a door frame structure and a method for mounting the door frame structure which improve rigidity, prevent deformation that is caused by relative story displacement of a building in the event of an earthquake, and enable easy mounting. [Solution Means] A door frame structure 1 is indirectly mounted to a wall surface 4 via mounting angles 11 fixed to the first reinforcing members 9. Therefore, the door frame structure 1 does not follow relative story displacement of the wall surface 4 caused by lateral vibration in the event of an earthquake, so that deformation of the door frame structure 1 is minimized, and a door 31 can be opened and closed even in an emergency.

Installation systems and methods for fenestration units configured to be set into a rough opening from an exterior side of a building structure or wall. The fenestration units may include a retention system coupled to the frame and operable to exert a retention force on the fenestration unit to maintain positive engagement of the fenestration unit with the rough opening framing and resist extraction of the fenestration unit from the rough opening upon insertion of the fenestration unit in the rough opening from the exterior side of the rough opening.
