FLOOD PROTECTION FOR UNDERGROUND AIR VENTS
Apparatus allowing ventilation through a ventilation shaft to an underground ventilation duct fluidly communicating through the ventilation shaft to an atmospheric opening of the shaft and on threat of flooding operable to prevent downward flow of surface water into the ventilation duct includes support sidewalls fitting in the shaft providing a ventilation passage between support top and bottom openings and a suspension member supported on opposed lateral sidewalls proximate the top opening holding one or more hinge connected panels that manually release to rotationally close the passage and are manually rotationally liftable to a home position allowing ventilation. A panel drain automatically closes when the panel is raised to home position so it is already closed when the panel is released to rotationally close the passage.

A releasable latching system between panel and a suspension member holder catches rising panels to hold them in home position ready for release.

The suspension member is liftingly removable from the support and may include end keys received in keyed supports to allow the suspension member to fit in the supports so a specific panel closes to a specific sidewall.
Ruggedized portable storage and transport unit
Disclosed is a portable storage and transport unit that can be easily moved, even through rough terrain, to any desired location. The unit includes a continuous supported work surface area around its entire perimeter, as well as multiple methods of adjusting the unit's center of gravity to reduce the effort needed to move it. The unit includes an optional weather shelter, the ability to be towed by a vehicle even when fully loaded, and a separate gear rack to accommodate efficient wheeled transport of even more gear.
ANIMAL CRATE WITH SWING OR DROP DOOR ASSEMBLY
A door assembly includes a frame having interconnected wires that define an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and a door having interconnected wires and being coupled to the frame. A latch assembly has a handle structure and a pin. The handle structure is pivotable with respect to one of the door and the frame, and the pin is movable axially with respect to one of the door and the frame. A first wire of the plurality of wires of the frame forms a key hole assembly. The key hole assembly defines an aperture for receiving the pin when the door is in a latched position with respect to the frame. A tab assembly is formed by at least one wire of the door and is disposable behind at least one of the plurality of wires of the frame in the closed position.

ANIMAL CRATE WITH SWING OR DROP DOOR ASSEMBLY
A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough and a door having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires and being coupled to the frame. The door is disposable between a closed position and an open position. A latch assembly is coupled to either the door or frame, and removably couples the door to the frame in the closed position. A blocking member is coupled to the door and located between at least two adjacent wires of the plurality of interconnected wires of the door. The blocking member is disposed adjacent to the latch member such that a portion of the latch member is in contact with the blocking member in a rest position.

Home appliance having movable door handle
A home appliance comprises a cabinet having a chamber, a door configured to open or close the chamber by being rotated about a door rotating shaft, and a handle assembly provided at the exterior of a front surface of the door. The handle assembly includes a handle configured to assist a user in opening or closing the door, a handle link rotating shaft, a handle link attached to the handle, and a distance spacer provided between the handle link and the handle link rotating shaft to maintain a distance between the handle link and the handle link rotating shaft. The handle link is rotatable about the handle link rotating shaft as the door is rotated to an open position and extends out of the door in an increasing length as an opening angle of the door increases.
