CONNECTORS FOR SMART WINDOWS

This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity. Pre-wired spacers improve fabrication efficiency and seal integrity of insulated glass units. Electrical connection systems include those embedded in the secondary seal of the insulated glass unit.

FULL-ACCESS CASE FOR RECEIVING SERVER
20180275726 · 2018-09-27 ·

A case for servers or other devices allowing full access without disassembly includes housing and sliding cover. A receiving space in housing includes a first space and a second space. The sliding cover is in two parts. The first part sliding cover covers the first space and the second part sliding cover covers the second space. The first part sliding cover can slide out of the receiving space to allow the second covering body to move to the empty space. The first part sliding cover is rotatable around the second part to expose one half portion of the case. When the first part slides out of the receiving space to rotate to being above the second part, the second part can slide so as to uncover the remaining half portion of the case.

SLIDING WINDOW OR SLIDING DOOR ARRANGEMENT
20240318491 · 2024-09-26 · ·

A sliding window or sliding door arrangement having an external frame and a sliding element which is displaceably mounted in the external frame, a cable deflection system for tensioning and deflecting a cable, which includes a first cable deflection unit with a first cable deflection device, a second cable deflection unit with a second cable deflection device, and a guide channel which extends in the direction of gravitational force. The second cable deflection unit is held in the guide channel against gravitational force by a cable which is inserted into the cable deflection device, such that when the sliding element is displaced, the second cable deflection unit is displaced in the direction of gravitational force or in the opposing direction in the guide channel.

REVERSIBLE VENTILATION SLIDE INHIBITOR
20180258678 · 2018-09-13 ·

A reversible ventilation slide inhibitor adapted to be positioned on a sliding member, including: a lockable body with first and second passages, a locking barrel located between the first and second passages capable of being rotated between a locked and unlocked position, and a reversible stop piece with first and second pins. Each of the pins adapted to be inserted into either of the passages, thereby making the reversible stop piece reversible between an active and an inactive position. The reversible stop piece in the active position abuts a sliding member, to prevent movement of the sliding member beyond a fixed point on a track on which the sliding member is adapted to slide. When in the inactive position allows the sliding member to bypass the reversible stop piece to an unrestricted opening distance.

Glass run channel and applique attachment and method

A glass run channel and applique attachment for a door having a door frame and an openable window includes a glass run channel, an applique, and a fastener. The glass run channel has a first locating feature adapted for attachment to the door frame and a first snap-fit feature. The applique has a second locating feature and a second snap-fit feature. The applique is located relative to the glass run channel in a located position when the first locating feature contacts the second locating feature and is attached to the glass run channel in the located position when the first snap-fit feature engages the second snap-fit feature. The fastener mounts the first locating feature to the door frame and is concealed from view on the interior surface of the door by the door frame and on the exterior surface of the door by the applique.
