Monitoring systems for automatic doors comprise at least one input device configured for sensing at least one characteristic of at least one operational parameter of an automatic door system, a door system controller coupled to the at least one input device, at least one monitor display comprising a first interface operatively coupled to the door system controller, and at least another interface operatively coupled to the monitor display and configured to be operatively coupled to at least one remote display device. The at least one monitor display is configured to continuously request information representative of the at least one operational parameter characteristic from the door system controller and display the information. Methods of monitoring an automatic door system comprise transmitting data representative of an operational parameter characteristic from an input device to at least one door system controller; sending a description of the operational parameter to a monitor display continuously; and displaying indicia representative of the description of the operational parameter.

The present disclosure is generally directed to a method of operation for a convertible door system including a door accessible compartment having a moveable dividing wall that substantially divides the compartment into a first and a second sub-compartment. A first door assembly, configured to allow access to the first sub-compartment, is disposed between a first of two opposing sidewalls and the moveable dividing wall. A second door assembly, configured to allow access to the second sub-compartment, is disposed between a second of the two opposing sidewalls and the moveable dividing wall. A first and a second hinge assembly are adapted to rotationally join the first and second door assembly to respective opposing sidewalls. A third hinge assembly is adapted to rotationally join the moveable dividing wall to either the first door assembly or the second door assembly.

A tightly closed structure of a glass door comprises a doorframe and a first door panel. An upper containing groove is transversely arranged at the top of the doorframe and a lower containing groove is transversely arranged at the bottom of the doorframe. An upper frame strip and a lower frame strip that protruding from the first door panel are respectively arranged on the upper edge and the lower edge at the direction which the first door panel faces to the doorframe. The upper frame strip is embedded in the upper containing groove and the lower frame strip is embedded in the lower containing groove. When the first door panel and the doorframe are fastened, the upper frame strip and the lower frame strip are fastened into the upper containing groove and the lower containing groove at the same time, so that the upper frame strip and the lower frame strip can be hidden and make the first door panel and the doorframe to be tightly closed.

The first and second sliding panels are disposed in a second plane parallel to the common plane in both the open and closed position. The first and second partial door panels are operably coupled to the first and second sidelites, respectively, via hinge assemblies. The first and second partial door panels have a closed state in which the first and second partial door panels are each disposed in the common plane blocking access through the door opening, and an open state in which the first and second partial door panels are each disposed out of the common plane.

A lock is mounted to the door and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. An engagement assembly is mounted to the door and movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The engagement assembly includes a plunger, a lock mechanism, and an elongated member that extends between the lock and the lock mechanism. In the engaged position, the lock mechanism and the elongated member position the plunger in an extended position outward from the door. In the disengaged position, the lock mechanism and the elongated member position the plunger in a retracted position relative to the door.
