FRAME ASSEMBLY SECURING PANELS OF DIFFERING THICKNESSES
A bracket set may include an inner frame member comprising: a first barrier-facing surface configured to contact an inner-facing side of the movable barrier; a first panel-facing surface configured to contact a first side of the first panel having the first thickness; a second panel-facing surface configured to contact a first side of the second panel having the second thickness; and an outer frame member comprising: a second barrier-facing surface configured to contact an outer-facing side of the movable barrier; and a third panel-facing surface configured to contact an opposing second side of the first panel having the first thickness when the bracket set is used with the first panel and configured to contact an opposing second side of the second panel having the second thickness when the bracket set is used with the second panel.
Delivery box built in garage door
To prevent the theft of packages and increase the reliability and security of delivered packages from consignor to a consignee, it is necessary to create a secured delivery box built into a garage door. The delivery box built in garage door includes an opening in garage door, built in housing with sliding lid, or pivoting lid, on input opening. The housing has one or two output openings on a sides or bottom. Also, the housing of the delivery box has an optionally sloped floor on either a single side or both sides, or flat floors, or rolling conveyor floor or a ball rolling conveyor floor.
DOCK DOOR SCREEN ASSEMBLY
A screen door assembly for an opening of loading dock includes a frame having first and second vertical members joined together by first and second horizontal members. The screen door assembly further includes at least one stay element extending along a lateral axis and secured at each end to the respective vertical member. The screen door assembly further includes a screen material, at least one of a top edge or bottom edge of the screen material being secured to the stay element. The screen door assembly is configured for use in the longitudinal clearance gap of a main door guide track, between the main door guide track and an inside wall of the loading dock. The screen door operates independent of the main door, such that both doors can be closed at the same time.
Adjustable garage door pest barrier
An adjustable barrier for use with a building having a door frame with a door frame opening, a track assembly, and a garage door positioned between the track assembly to selectively cover the door frame opening, the adjustable barrier comprising a barrier bracket and an extendable barrier panel. The adjustable barrier is adapted to seal off a garage door gap located between the garage door and the door frame, and is positioned between the door frame and the track to create a barrier preventing a pest from bypassing the garage door and entering the building through the garage door gap. The extendable barrier panel selectively extends and retracts to adjust to the distance between the track and the door frame, and may further be tapered to allow the adjustable barrier to maintain contact with the track when the track curves away from the door frame.
Package door for a garage door and package delivery method
A package delivery door, such as for mounting in a garage door, comprises a frame which defines a package delivery opening and a delivery door which is movable between a first position in which it closes the package delivery opening and a second position in which it does not. In the second position, the door may serve as a ramp for sliding package into the garage space behind the garage door. A stop limits rotation of the delivery door to the second position. The package door may include a lock which is unlocked when an unlock code is read or received from a package which is presented to the door.
Glazing retainer for impact rated doors
A door includes a plurality of door panels hingedly connected. At least one of the plurality of panels includes a frame, a glazing member, and a retainer member. The frame defines an opening and includes a lip extending into the opening. A front side of the glazing member is disposed adjacent the lip. The retainer member is disposed adjacent a rear side of the glazing member. The retainer member includes a body member, a first leg, a second leg, a third leg, and a fourth leg. At least three of the first, second, third, and fourth legs are configured for receipt into corresponding channels in the frame to secure the retainer member to the frame.
System and Method for Movable Barrier Monitoring
In one aspect, a movable barrier operator system is provided that includes a motor configured to turn a drum to pay out a cable from the drum and permit a door connected to the cable to move from an open position toward a closed position. The system includes a memory configured to store an expected variable of the door, and a sensor configured to detect movement of the door. The system further includes a processor circuit operatively coupled to the motor, the memory, and the sensor. The processor circuit is configured to: use the sensor to estimate an actual variable of the door; determine whether the actual variable is acceptable based at least in part on the expected variable and the processor circuit causing the motor to turn the drum; and change operation of the movable barrier upon the actual variable of the movable barrier being unacceptable.
MODULAR BARRIER PANEL FRAME REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A frame rail for a movable barrier includes a top side, a bottom side, a front side, and a rear side. A first module connector is formed on the rear side. The first module connector extends continuously along a length of the frame rail and is configured to slidably receive a corresponding second module connector of a module. The frame rail has a continuous cross-section with the first module connector integrally formed with the top, bottom, front, and rear sides. One of the first or second module connectors comprises a groove and the other of the first or second module connectors comprises a tongue configured for receipt within the groove. The first module connector is configured to slidably receive the second module connector from a longitudinal end surface of the frame rail.
Polymeric wind and debris resistant garage door window frame and method of manufacture
A window frame assembly for installation within a garage door having front and rear exposed surfaces and one or more window openings. The assembly includes front and rear window frame members which are installed within the door openings in the garage door. The front and rear members are brought toward each other to sandwich the borders of each of the window openings while also capturing an associated transparent pane. A series of fastening members are used to hold the front and rear frame members securely against each other. The front and rear window frame members are made of synthetic polymeric starting stock starting materials which, together with the transparent panes, are able to withstand hurricane force winds and associated blowing debris.
GARAGE DOOR RESTORATION OVERLAY PANELS
A garage door magnetic overlay system comprised of a plurality of magnetic overlay sections for attaching to a front surface of an existing garage door to renovate and change the appearance of the existing garage door. Each of the magnetic overlay sections is made of a neodymium-magnetic steel core with a matte printed front surface and a high-friction coating on the rear surface. One of the plurality magnetic overlay panels attaches to each panel of the existing garage door including at least one top panel and one bottom panel.
