Expandable flashing device and system
An expandable flashing device comprises first and second pieces of flashing material that overlap one another with hems or folded edges located on opposite lateral sides of the pieces that hold the pieces together, yet allow the pieces to slide or shift with respect to one another to selectively change the length of the device. In a first stowed position, the pieces overlap one another and in an expanded second position, the pieces may be pulled apart to increase an overall length of the pieces. The maximum length of material that overlaps between the pieces is defined as the overlap range. The overlap range defines the range to which the device can be shortened or lengthened to fit a particular installation. A flashing system and a method of installing flashing are also disclosed.
Security screen assembly
A security frame is disclosed that is adapted to be fitted to door and window openings and adjustably accommodate decorative panels of differing thicknesses. The frame includes: at least two frame members connectable together to form the frame for accommodating at least one decorative panel; at least one panel clamping bed extending along an inner sidewall of each frame member and having a clamping portion and a channel; and at least one clamping clip including at least one clamping arm configured to clamp a peripheral edge of the at least one decorative panel against the clamping portion. The at least one clamping clip and the channel connect via key arrangements configured to intermesh at a plurality of positions thereby enabling decorative panels of differing thicknesses to be accommodated and clamped to the frame.

FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR SHEET MATERIAL
The application describes a frame assembly comprising: a first inner frame section adapted to be fitted to a first peripheral portion of a first surface of sheet material, the first peripheral portion is adjacent a peripheral edge; a second, separate inner frame section adapted to be fitted to a second peripheral portion of a second surface of sheet material, the second peripheral portion is adjacent a peripheral edge, and the second surface is opposite the first surface; and an outer frame section for receiving the sheet material with the inner frame sections fitted thereto, the outer frame section comprising first and second projections. The first frame section defines a space adapted to receive the first projection of the outer frame section, the space of the first inner frame section cooperates with the received first projection to restrict movement of the first inner frame section relative to the outer frame section.
SECURITY SCREEN ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a security frame adapted to be fitted to door and window openings and adjustably accommodate decorative panels of differing thicknesses. The frame includes: at least two frame members connectable together to form the frame for accommodating at least one decorative panel; at least one panel clamping bed extending along an inner sidewall of each frame member and having a clamping portion and a channel; and at least one clamping clip including a retention portion and at least one clamping arm extending from the retention portion and configured to clamp a peripheral edge of the at least one decorative panel against the clamping portion when the retention portion is at least partially received in the channel, wherein said channel and said retention portion each include at least one key arrangement configured to intermesh with each other at a plurality of positions when the retention portion is at least partially received in the channel thereby enabling decorative panels of differing thicknesses to be accommodated and clamped to the frame.
Fenestration frame with glazing stop
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that include a fenestration unit. In certain instances, the fenestration units, and methods of re-glazing the fenestration units, described herein may be re-glazed from an interior space.
Method and apparatus for installing vacuum insulated glass (VIG) window unit in existing window sash
A method and apparatus for enabling a vacuum insulated glass (VIG) window to be substituted for and/or replace a non-vacuum insulated glass window in an existing window assembly frame structure is disclosed. A width of a VIG window is substantially less than that of existing non-vacuum insulated glass (IG) windows (e.g., a double, triple or quad pane windows). A replacement stop is provided that compensates for the difference between the larger width of a non-vacuum insulated glass window and a VIG window which has a smaller width, thereby enabling the VIG window to be easily and cost effectively installed in existing window configurations originally intended for non-vacuum insulated glass windows. The replacement stop may be used in the manufacture of VIG window units and/or to replace existing and/or already installed non-vacuum insulated glass windows.
Security panel mounting system
A security panel mounting system having a mounting unit configured to attach to a mounting surface; a securing unit configured to engage with the mounting unit wherein the engagement of the securing unit with the mounting unit forms a base fixture; a first narrow gasket and a second narrow gasket, each narrow gasket having: a narrow gasket body; a T-shaped narrow gasket handle attached to the narrow gasket body; and a gasket hollow nested within the narrow gasket body; wherein each narrow gasket handle is configured to engage with a corresponding structure within the base fixture to secure a security panel within the base fixture; and a cover configured to engage with the base fixture. An advantage is that the hollow within each narrow gasket may allow an impact to the panel to be responded more flexibly, reducing the likelihood of the mounting system being damaged from the impact.
