ARTICLE OF WEATHER STRIPPING
The invention provides for an article of manufacture, being an improved weather strip and dust plug. The invention also provides for an apparatus, system and method for manufacturing the improved weather strip and dust plug.
Infill electrochromic windows
Various embodiments herein relate to methods, structures, tools, installation systems, etc. for retrofitting a new electrochromic window in a pre-existing window recess. In many cases, the new electrochromic window is installed parallel to a lite of a pre-existing window, with the resulting structure including the new electrochromic window, the pre-existing window, and a pocket that forms between them. Installation of a new electrochromic window in tandem with a pre-existing window results in many benefits including improved insulation (e.g., due to the presence of the additional air pocket(s) and lite(s)), improved climate control (e.g., due to the ability to control the amount of sunlight entering the building via the electrochromic window), and enhanced aesthetics.
Thermally broken door panel
A door assembly with the dual support connector has a door panel, a glass pane, a dual support connector assembly, a fixed sealing frame for engaging the dual support connector assembly, a seal-less removable frame for attaching to the attachment (dual support connector assembly) on an opposite side of the fixed sealing frame, and a fastener engaging the dual support connector assembly to the fixed sealing frame. The dual support connector assembly has a clip body, a door flange extending from the clip body, a glass flange extending from the clip body in parallel with the door flange.
Insulating glass with load-bearing properties
The present application relates to an insulating glass (1) having at least two glass panes (2, 3) spaced apart from one another. The insulating glass (1) comprises at least one marginal join arranged between the glass panes (2, 3) in the region (8, 9, 10, 11) of edges (4, 5, 6, 7) of said glass panes (2, 3), said marginal join consisting of a spacer (12) and also at least one adhesive. The marginal join comprises a first adhesive at least in the region (8, 9) of two mutually opposite edges (4, 5), said adhesive having a rigidity in the cured state of at least 50 N/mm.sup.2, preferably of at least 100 N/mm.sup.2.
Door assembly with dual support connector assembly
A door assembly with the dual support connector has a door panel, a glass pane, a dual support connector assembly, a fixed sealing frame 18 for engaging the dual support connector assembly, a seal-less removable frame for attaching to the attachment (dual support connector assembly) on an opposite side of the fixed sealing frame 18, and a fastener engaging the dual support connector assembly to the fixed sealing frame. The dual support connector assembly has a clip body, a door flange extending from the clip body, a glass flange extending from the clip body in parallel with the door flange.
Dual support connector assembly
A dual support connector assembly has a clip body with a pair of through hole, a door flange extending from the clip body; a glass flange extending from the clip body in parallel with the door flange, a fixed sealing frame, a seal-less removable frame for attaching to the dual support connector assembly on an opposite side of the fixed sealing frame, and a fastener engaging the attachment clip to the fixed sealing frame.
ENCAPSULATED GLASS FRAME ASSEMBLIES AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR FORMING SAME
An encapsulated glass assembly includes a plastic frame having at least three sides and corners, with the frame having a channel extending within its outer frame surface that includes a lower wall portion connected to a side wall portion. The outer frame surface further includes at least one upper wall portion extending from the side wall portion and extending along at least one side of the frame, each one of the at least one upper wall portions further defining a portion of the channel as a C-shaped channel. A glass panel coupled to the frame is retained within the C-shaped channel along at least one side of the frame such that the edge of the panel is adjacent to the side wall portion. An encapsulant having a Shore hardness less than the frame is bonded onto the panel and onto the frame to secure the panel to the frame.
Double-pane module with an image producing device for use in a structure and a method for producing such module
A module including two transparent panes; a sealing and spacing arrangement sealingly fixing the panes to each other along their periphery at spaced apart relationship, thereby forming between the inner surfaces of the panes a transparent sealed cavity with a sealing frame surrounding it; and an image producing device fixedly mounted within the cavity so as to allow viewing images produced thereby. The module for mounting in the structure so as to fulfill the function of a transparent member such as a window, a door or a wall, separating between the space in said interior of the structure accommodating said person and a region behind the member, and to allow viewing at least through a portion of the cavity. The module can include optional features, and methods are provided for producing a structure therewith and for upgrading existing structures by using the module instead of an original transparent component.
Window insulation system
The present invention is directed toward a window or door insulation system including an attachable trim strip, and a securable transparent sheet, to create a removable and auxiliary insulation sheet. The trim strip includes a base attachable to a surface, a cover pivotably connected to the base, and an interior strip pivotably connected to the cover and base. The cover includes a first wall, an intermediate wall transitioning from the first wall, and a second wall transitioning from the intermediate wall. The first wall is pivotably connected to a first side of the base so that the cover is configured to be an open position or a closed position. A gap is defined between the second wall of the cover and the second side of the base when in the closed position. The interior strip is configured to keep the cover opened or closed.
