Moreover, the present invention relates to a vacuum insulating glass produced using the glass paste according to the invention, to the production process thereof, and to the use of the inventive glass and/or composite glass, and glass paste. The glass according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises the following components, in units of mol-%: V.sub.2O.sub.5 5-58 mol-%,Te0.sub.2 40-90 mol-%, and at least one oxide selected from ZnO 38-52 mol-%, or Al.sub.2O.sub.3 1-25 mol %, or MoO.sub.3 1-10 mol-%, or WO.sub.3 1-10 mol-%, or a combination thereof.
Spacer for triple-insulated glazing units
A spacer for insulated glazing units having at least one polymeric main body with a wall thickness d having a first pane contact surface and a second pane contact surface running parallel thereto, one first glazing interior surface, one second glazing interior surface, one outer surface, one first hollow chamber, and one second hollow chamber. A groove for receiving a pane runs parallel to the first pane contact surface and the second pane contact surface between the first glazing interior surface and the second glazing interior surface. The first hollow chamber adjoins the first glazing interior surface and the second hollow chamber adjoins the second glazing interior surface. The lateral flanks of the groove are formed by the walls of the first hollow chamber and the second hollow chamber, and the wall thickness d′ in the region of the lateral flanks is less than the wall thickness d of the polymeric main body.
VACUUM INSULATING GLASS WINDOW UNIT INCLUDING EDGE SEAL AND/OR METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
Methods of making a vacuum insulating glass (VIG) window unit, including edge sealing techniques relating to the same, are provided. Certain example embodiments relate to providing an infrared (IR) absorbing element(s) such as a clip or clamp proximate an edge portion of a VIG assembly during formation of an edge seal. The IR absorbing element(s) absorb applied IR radiation and heat up during an edge seal formation process. Because the IR absorbing element(s) is/are thermally conductive and in contact with at least one of the glass substrates the element(s) causes/cause heat to be transferred from the element(s) to the adjacent glass substrate(s) and to the adjacent edge seal material thereby helping the edge seal material to heat up faster during the edge seal formation process and keeping other areas of glass at lower temperatures.
Glass panel unit assembly, method for manufacturing glass panel unit, work in progress of glass panel unit, and glass panel unit
A glass panel unit assembly includes a pair of glass substrates arranged to face each other, a peripheral wall, a partition, an air passage, and an evacuation port. The peripheral wall has a frame shape and is provided between the pair of glass substrates. The partition partitions an internal space, surrounded with the pair of glass substrates and the peripheral wall, into a first space and a second space. The air passage connects the first space and the second space together. The evacuation port connects the second space to an external environment. The partition has a broader width than the peripheral wall.
VACUUM PLATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention discloses a vacuum plate and a method for manufacturing it. The vacuum plate comprises at least two layers of plate, a plurality of support structures with different heights, and an organic film. The plates in adjacent layers are separated by a plurality of the support structures with different heights, peripheries of the at least two layers of plate are connected and sealed via a sealing mixture; and the peripheries of the at least two layers of plate and the outside of the sealing mixture are covered with the organic film. According to surface undulation of the plate, the supporting structures with corresponding heights are arranged on corresponding positions between the layers of plate, and the heights of the support structures match with the spacings at corresponding positions in the vacuum plate, so that each support structure can be clamped by the upper and the lower plate layers, and effectively plays a supporting role, thereby reducing the security risk from damage of the vacuum plate.
Manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus of glass panel for glass panel unit
A manufacturing method of a glass panel for a glass panel unit includes a melting step, a spreading step, an annealing step, a cutting step, and a spacer disposition step. The spacer disposition step is a step of disposing spacers onto a glass sheet and is performed by a spacer disposition device prior to the cutting step.
Vacuum glazing and method for manufacturing the same
A vacuum glazing includes a vacuum layer formed between a first glazing and a second glazing, a spacer provided in the vacuum layer, a frame provided at edge portions of the first and second glazings, and a sealant interposed between the frame and surfaces of the first and second glazings to perform sealing of the vacuum layer. The insulating performance of the vacuum glazing is improved.
Vacuum glass component
The present invention discloses a vacuum glass component, wherein the vacuum glass component is formed by compounding two or a plurality of glass plates, and the peripheries of the two or a plurality of glass plates are sealed with each other through sealing part in air-tight manner, a gap remains between the sealing part and the edge of the glass plate, vacuum-pumping is performed between adjacent glass plates at the inner side of the sealing part, and the sealing part is isolated from the outer environment between adjacent glass plates at the outer side of the sealing part by filling seal gum, resin or plastic. The vacuum glass component make the outer side of the sealing part isolated from the outer environment by using seal gum, resin or plastic, thereby preventing the metal at the sealing part from forming a heat bridge and facilitating the later installation and use of vacuum glass component. Moreover, the surface at the side edge of the vacuum glass component can be trimmed to be parallel and level by setting seal gum, resin or plastic, thereby keeping the beautiful appearance of the vacuum glass component.
Spacer profile for a spacer frame for an insulating glass unit with interspace elements and insulating glass unit
A spacer profile for an insulating glazing unit for maintaining a space between glazing panes includes a profile body formed from a first heat insulating material that has, viewed in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, outer side walls extending in a height direction and that has a distance in a transverse direction smaller than a first width, each side wall having an inner protrusion protruding towards the opposite side wall into a recess which is open to the inner side, and a diffusion barrier film made from a second material and firmly bonded with the profile body and, viewed in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, extending over the profile body on the outer side of the spacer profile and continuous thereto in the height direction on the outside of the side walls and/or in the same to a second height and into the protrusions.
