FIRE DOOR, FRAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE FIRE DOOR
20240229548 · 2024-07-11 ·

A fire door with a frame for arrangement is provided in a wall opening with an opening plane, at least one fire door leaf to be opened at least in sections along an opening normal of the opening plane for fire-retardant closure of the wall opening, at least one vacuum insulation panel for reducing heat transport through the fire door leaf along the opening normal in a closed state of the fire door, and at least one leaf sealing element which connects the frame to the fire door leaf in a wind-tight manner in a closed state of the fire door. The leaf sealing element defines a leaf sealing plane in a closed state of the fire door, which is arranged parallel to the opening plane. A frame and a manufacturing method for the fire door is also provided.

BARRIERS CORES AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF

Barriers may utilize cores that may be pre-assembled and dropped into a barrier or may be formed within the barriers. The cores may include traditional core materials, biomass materials, graphite polystyrene (GPS) material, or other types of materials. The core may be formed from one or more layers, such as one or more stiffener layers (e.g., stiffener panel, stiffener rods, or the like), one or more matrix layers (e.g., with apertures extending therein), one or more solid layers (e.g., wood, plastic, composite, foam, fiber, or the like), one or more fluid sealed layers (e.g., air, argon, nitrogen, or other like), and/or other types of layers. The barrier edge members, the faces, and/or the core layers described herein may be assembled to each other in traditional ways, such as welding, and/or may be assembled to each other in a way that reduces the amount of welding and/or use of steel.

Security door

A stile and rail ballistic security door containing bullet proof materials within a metal or synthetic material frame including a plurality of window panes and thermal break means to eliminate condensation problems therein. The door contains a multi-layer exterior core providing extra strength and rigidity.

LIGHTWEIGHT HIGH TECH DOOR

A door includes a sandwich panel having first and second panels, and a honey comb core. The first and second panels have edge tabs foldable toward one another. There are inner frame sections disposed at edge sections of the sandwich panel and adjacent to the honey comb core and inwardly of the edge tabs. The edge tabs are folded toward one another over the inner frame sections.

GARAGE DOOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Provided are door systems having a plurality of door panels and a frame, the door panels being movable horizontally between an extended position closing an opening in a building structure, and a folded retracted position opening the opening in the building structure. When in the extended position, the door panels interlock with each other forming a barrier to wind, dirt, dust and insects. The frame is movably attached to the building structure and when the door panels are in the extended position, the frame moves and engages the door panels with a sealing member to provide an airtight seal of the opening in the building structure.

Hybrid hardened ballistic security door

An innovative ballistic door is disclosed that is destined for use in schools, offices and building structures. The innovative door comprises a hybrid ballistic core, comprising at least two sections, wherein one section is a heavy impact resistant material rated to NIJ level III strength to resist rounds fired from high-powered rifles, as well as resisting breaches from explosive devices such as pipe bombs and the like. AR500 steel plate having a thickness of inch meets this requirement. The remaining sections of the innovative ballistic hybrid core comprise at least one lighter-weight ballistic sheet material, such as E Glass fiber composite sheet, which at least comply with the NIJ level IIIA standard. This E Glass material is ideally suited to resist the impact of a pipe bomb explosion. The novel ballistic core construction allows a compromise between protective and practical weight requirements. In addition, the innovative ballistic door provides for substantial anti-breach protection of the latch and lock mechanism and hinges.

Sound damping door

A sound damping door system having a door frame, a compression seal, a door slab, a bottom seal, and a concealed hinge assembly. The door frame includes male and female components adapted to engage each other in a rough door opening between first and second wall faces; and at least one isolation gasket adapted to be disposed between the male and female components. The compression seal is mounted to the door frame. The door slab includes an outer skin; an arched constrainment sheet inside the outer skin; a damping fill material inside the outer skin; and an acoustic insert inside the outer skin. The bottom seal is mounted to a bottom surface of the door slab such that the bottom seal is permitted to move relative to the door slab.
