Gate assembly

A gate assembly is formed from a gate attached by hinges to a frame. A pair of L-shaped brackets are attached to the outer sides of the frame. The brackets are in turn attached to a pair of gate posts in a barrier. Bolt holes formed in the header section of the frame receive removable eye bolts that may be used as hoisting points as the frame is being positioned within a barrier. To maintain the shape of the frame during such positioning, a removable sill section is included in the base of the frame. The first upright section of the frame defines an unobstructed internal channel bounded by input and output portals. A cable may pass though the channel and into the gate by way of the output portal. Window openings in the gate may be fitted with removable window panels containing pickets and infill material. Dual gates may be positioned within an enlarged frame, and a removable mullion post positioned between the gates and supported by the frame.

L-SHAPED METAL MESH DOOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

An L-shaped metal mesh door and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The metal mesh door includes an L-shaped metal mesh and a strip-shaped metal engagement slot. Two metal engagement slots are connected at a corner through L-shaped metal members inserted into a cavity of the metal engagement slot. The metal mesh is embedded in the metal engagement slot. The manufacturing method includes following steps. Manufacturing the metal mesh material by folding a metal mesh material into a 90 L shape. Manufacturing the metal engagement slot chamfering the two metal engagement slots by 45 at the corner, assembling the metal engagement slots through the L-shaped metal members inserted into the square cavity, and then fixing them with screws. Embedding the metal mesh fixedly in the engaging opening of the metal engagement slot, and filling a plastic soft strip in the circular cavity for fixing.

DOOR SYSTEM WITH DUAL SEALING ELEMENTS

A high-performance door system is provided. The door system comprising a door leaf having a framework which includes first and second stiles spaced apart from each other, a first rail joining a first end of the first stile with a first end of the second stile, and a second rail joining a second end of the first stile with a second end of the second stile. The first rail is provided with a groove, and each one of the stiles comprises an inner channel, each inner channel being in fluid communication with the groove. The door leaf further comprises a housing defining a hollow space which is then injected with filler material so as to fill the hollow space and the groove, thereby spreading to each one of the inner channels, thus sealing interstices between the rail and stiles.

Acoustic window system for use with acoustic door
10538957 · 2020-01-21 · ·

A sound proofing window system for use with an acoustic door is disclosed. The system includes 2 fully decoupled acoustic reveal formed between 2 acoustic windows, thereby providing a higher level of sound proofing than is achievable with existing art. A decoupled acoustic reveal means that there is no path of contact between the two acoustic windows that is unbroken by soundproofing material. Further, the acoustic windows may be positioned fully or partially outside the thickness of the door to increase the air gap. Prior art systems may attempt to partially decouple the acoustic reveal. A windowed standard 1.75 inch acoustic door according to the present invention provides an STC rating of 56-57, which is far superior to the 35-47 STC rating comparable prior art. The STC rating of the present invention on a 5 inch thick door is estimated at 64 compared to 54 using conventional technology.

Door with interior protective coating

An exemplary door has a hollow interior, and includes a first panel and a second panel that are secured to one another such that a gap is formed therebetween. Each panel has an interior side that faces the hollow interior and an exterior side that is exposed to view. The door further includes a protective coating system that is disposed on the interior side of at least one of the panels. The coating is formed of a two-part elastomeric composition, such as a two-part elastomeric polyurethane composition or a two-part elastomeric polyurea composition. The coating improves the thermal, acoustic, and/or ballistic performance characteristics of the door.
