Corner joint clip with self-backing plate
A framed assembly includes a first frame member providing an inner vertical wall extending between opposing front and back surfaces and defining a slot, and a second frame member positioned adjacent the first frame member at a corner joint and providing a horizontal wall extending between opposing front and back surfaces of the second frame member. A clip having opposing front and back sides provides a backing plate extending from the back side and a projection extending from the front side. The backing plate is received within an interior of the first frame member via the slot, and the projection is received within an interior of the second frame member adjacent the horizontal wall.
CONNECTING ELEMENT FOR CONNECTING PROFILE ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a connecting element (10) for connecting at least two profile elements (100, 200), wherein the connecting element (10) is rotatable about an axis of rotation (D) to produce a clamping force, wherein the connecting element (10) has at least one first connecting section (12) and at least one second connecting section (14), which are each designed to be received in one of the profile elements (100, 200), wherein the first connecting section (12) has at least one first clamping face (20, 22), wherein the at least one first clamping face (20, 22) is designed with a predetermined clamping contour (KK.sub.1), wherein the second connecting section (14) has at least one second clamping face (24, 74), wherein the first clamping face (20, 22) faces the second connecting section (14) and the second clamping face (24, 74) faces the first connecting section (12), wherein the first connecting section (12) and the second connecting section (14) are formed in such a way that the profile elements (100, 200) connected by means of the connecting element (10) extend obliquely relative to each other or crosswise.
A CONNECTION DEVICE AND A BOX ARRANGEMENT PROVIDED WITH SUCH CONNECTION DEVICE
A connection device (3) for a box-arrangement, the connection device (3) comprising: a first connection part (4) adapted to be connected to a first beam (1) comprising a first flange (6) and a second connection part (5) adapted to be connected to a second beam (2) comprising a second flange (7), wherein the second beam (2) is configured to extend in a direction generally perpendicular to the first beam (1) when being connected thereto by means of the connection device (3) and is configured to be connected at a first one of its ends to a first side of the first beam (1), and wherein said first and second flanges (6, 7) are configured to extend in parallel alignment with each other on a first side (8) of the first and second flanges (6, 7) when the second beam (2) is connected to the first beam (1) by means of the connection device (3), and the connection device (3) is adapted for connecting said first end of the second beam (2) to the first side of the first beam (1). The first connection part (4) comprises a third flange (10) which is configured to extend in parallel alignment with the first flange (6) of the first beam (1) on said first side (8) of the first flange (6) and to bear on the first flange (6) when the first connection part (4) is connected to the first beam (1) and which third flange (10) comprises a recess (11) configured for receiving the second flange (7) of the second beam (2) when the second beam (2) is connected to the first beam (1) by means of the connection device (3), the second connection part (5) is adapted to be connected to the first end of the second beam (2), and the first connection part (4) and the second connection part (5) of the connection device (3) comprise a device for engagement with each other.
CORNER CONNECTOR FOR INSULATING GLAZING UNITS WITH AN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY LINE
A corner connector for connecting two hollow profile spacers of insulating glazing units, includes a first leg and a second leg, which are connected to one another via a corner region, and a first electrical supply line, wherein the first leg and the second leg enclose an angle , where 45<<120, the first leg, the second leg, and the corner region are formed in one piece, at least the corner region surrounds the first electrical supply line, and the first electrical supply line protrudes out of the corner region.
Fenestration unit with drainage passage from corner key and through cladding
A fenestration unit includes a frame corner key that includes a corner key fluid outlet and a cladding having an aperture for the corner key fluid outlet. The fenestration unit also includes a weep drainage system with a fluid path defined from the frame corner key, through the corner key fluid outlet, and through the aperture to drain from the fenestration unit.
Frame assembly for windows and sliding doors
A frame assembly, for use in window and door applications configured to retain a panel, comprising a frame with a cover assembly and a support assembly having a track assembly, and a sill assembly and a header assembly both interconnected to a securing surface. The cover assembly is interconnected to the support assembly. The sill assembly comprises a roller member disposed in supporting relation to the track assembly, and the header assembly is disposed in supporting relation to the support assembly so that the frame is movable relative to both the header assembly and the sill assembly. At least a portion of the frame comprises a predetermined thickness of about 1 and 3/16 inches and a predetermined width of about 2 and inches. The predetermined thickness is substantially less than the predetermined width so that both cooperatively and concurrently enhance viewing through the panel and the frame's stability.
