Generating augmented reality images using sensor and location data
Embodiments relate to using sensor data and location data from a device to generate augmented reality images. A mobile device pose can be determined (a geographic position, direction and a three dimensional orientation of the device) within a location. A type of destination in the location can be identified and multiple destinations can be identified, with the mobile device receiving queue information about the identified destinations from a server. A first image can be captured. Based on the queue information, one of the identified destinations can be selected. The geographic position of each identified destination can be identified, and these positions can be combined with the mobile device pose to generate a second image. Finally, an augmented reality image can be generated by combining the first image and the second image, the augmented reality image identifying the selected one destination.

SUBSTANCE DELIVERY DEVICE
A device for implanting a substance into subcutaneous tissue or the dermis of a patient can include a housing, a hypodermic needle, a rod, and a bolt-action rod displacement mechanism. The hypodermic needle can include a lumen that is preloaded with a dermal filler thread. The rod can be configured to fit within the lumen of the hypodermic needle. Upon displacement within the lumen, the rod can cause displacement of the dermal filler thread within the lumen. The bolt-action rod displacement mechanism can be configured to displace the rod within the lumen away from a starting position toward the dermal filler thread.
ONLINE, REAL-TIME MASS VACCINATION AND DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM
A system for mass vaccination includes a plurality of portable electronic injectors, a mobile process manager and a database. Each portable electronic injector includes at least one needle to administer a measured amount of at least one vaccine to a body skin/tissue and an indicator system to provide an indication when either an injection error occurs or when a vaccination indication is required. The mobile process manager is in wireless communication with the plurality of injection devices and controls a mass vaccination. The process manager transmits task data to all injection devices in parallel via WI-FI, receives the vaccination indications from each injector in real time, also receives injection errors and vaccination process data, alerts a vaccination process overseer generally in real-time of the errors and transmits the injection data from each injector via cellular and/or internet transmission to the database.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE FOR DELIVERING A PREDEFINED FIXED DOSE
A drug delivery device (100, 300) for delivering a plurality of fixed doses, comprising a drive mechanism with a prestrained drive spring (108) for sequentially expelling the plurality of fixed doses, and an activation mechanism comprising an axially movable activation assembly (110, 310) for activating the drive mechanism to expel a fixed dose, and user operable for activation as a first user operation. The device further comprises a double dose prevention mechanism adapted to shift from a non-blocking to a blocking state after the first user operation of activating the activation mechanism, and adapted to shift from the blocking to the nonblocking state, in response to the second user operation of operating the unlocking structure.
Needle changing apparatus
An apparatus is disclosed for storing and changing needles for connection with a medicament delivery device, comprising an inner housing, a reservoir disposed within the inner housing, and a needle holder disposed within the inner housing, for fluidly connecting a medicament container of the medicament delivery device with the reservoir. The apparatus also includes a plurality of patient needles displaceably disposed on the needle holder, and an outer housing displaceably disposed about the inner housing and providing a user interface to individually select one of the plurality of patient needles, connect the selected needle with the reservoir, expose the selected needle outside of the apparatus for injection, and store the selected needle.
MEDICAL CONSUMABLE STORAGE, DISPENSING, AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM
A suture storage, dispensing, and disposal device is disclosed. The device provides a method for storing sutures or other medical consumables, dispensing the sutures or other medical consumables, and disposing of used sutures or other medical consumables.
PEN NEEDLE MAGAZINE
An attachable needle assembly (2) for use on a medication delivery pen (4), the needle assembly (2) comprising a spike housing (8) that is configured to engage the medication delivery pen (4) and pierce a reservoir septum (6) of the medication delivery pen (4), a needle assembly housing (22) secured to the spike housing (8), the needle assembly housing (22) enclosing a septum (40) with a cavity (42) that is in continuous fluid communication with the spike housing (8), and a plurality of needles (44) configured to pierce the needle assembly septum (40), wherein when the needle assembly housing (22) is in a first position, the plurality of needles (44) are disengaged from the needle assembly septum (40), and when the needle assembly housing (22) is in a second position, one of the plurality of needles (46) enters into fluid communication with the septum cavity (42) and is exposed for medicament delivery.
PEN NEEDLE EXCHANGE SYSTEM
An electronic system (200) connectable to a medication delivery pen (4) and a needle assembly (2, 102), the electronic system (200) exchanging data regarding a medicament traveling from the medication delivery pen (4) to the needle assembly (2, 102), the electronic system (200) comprising a hub (202) having a spike (204) that is configured to engage the medication delivery pen (4) and pierce a reservoir septum of the medication delivery pen (4), a flow sensor (220) that is in fluid communication with the hub (202) to measure flow data of the medicament, a circuit board (250) electrically contacting the flow sensor (220) to process and transmit the flow data, the circuit board (250) including a fluid path hole (254) to route a flow of medicament, and a septum body (270, 284) that is configured to provide fluid communication between the flow sensor (220) and one of a plurality of needles (40, 124) of the needle assembly (2, 102) to administer the medicament to a patient.
PEN NEEDLE MAGAZINE
An attachable needle assembly (2) is disclosed for use on a medication delivery pen (4). The needle assembly (2) includes a housing (8) enclosing a hub (12) that is configured to engage the medication delivery pen (4), a plurality of needles (18) configured to pierce a reservoir septum (6) of the medication delivery pen (4), a selection ring insert (30) that rotates and identifies which needle (24) of the plurality of needles (18) is to be selected, and a selection ring (36) that applies a force to expose the selected needle (24).
